I am a mother of a 11 year old girl and a wife. I am a professional and an entrepreneur. I love to play all the roles in life and most importantly I love my passion. I am passionate about fashion industry and my vision is recognition of middle aged women on ramps and modelling world. So, I give wings to these women who have a dream and help them participate in the events I organised. I love to set goals and achieve them. Similarly, I love to see others achieve too. So I guide them to achieve what they wish or dream to achieve in fashion world.


World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Recognizing the passion in yourself and fight the odds. That's empowerment. Women empowerment is to realize your own power to do things in your life your way without being demoralized or demotivated by the boundaries set by others. It is to use your past experiences today in best way for future opportunities. Women empowerment is not only related to women but it is for each citizen to educate themselves, that today's women become powerful with simplest and tiniest support her family and friends.


World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

I was winner of Face of Brisbane Mrs India Global 2018 and May Queen India 2007, I have been the front cover girl of 4 leading National fashion magazine in Australia and has been published in 35 magazines nationally and internationally. Pageant is a way to express yourself and a great platform to discuss your vision and this pageant has given me that opportunity.


World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

This platform enhances the personality and Aura of an individual . Also helps us to showcase our talent in front of the world. Pageant like these gives woman a platform to showcase their beauty and brain it gives opportunity to voice our choice and opinion and make us strong and independent as we are today. My inspiration comes from the various beauty queens around the world where they have run great campaign for various causes and that will be my focus too... supporting different causes to raise funds and awareness.


World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Mrs Australia Universal 2019 consists of honour and responsibility. This will give me platform to voice our choice to push the boundaries and follow your dreams. These pageants are celebration of brain and beauty and boost confidence level of a woman. I love to interact with people, I always believe in coming out of my comfort zone Hence I challenge myself to achieve goals that I have set for myself and I am gradually walking towards the finish line.


World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Pageants empower the woman, the idea itself is empowering..!! Putting such talented women together on world class platform not only gives them exposure but a recognition to move ahead in life.


World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Overall impression of a contest since appointment to the final day. The sense of confidence, walk, posture, carriage and grace, personality, stage presence, beauty and sense of attractiveness, and appropriateness of the evening wear. These are some of the criteria. I believe the judgement day matters however the journey of this title has been beautiful and I look forward to more adventures.


World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

So far experience is overwhelming. Fund raiser collaborations, meeting with people from different walks of life has given me different perspective to life. I am grateful for my life, family and friends. This is just the beginning I can't wait for the upcoming months.


World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

I have been appointed as Mrs. Australia Universal 2019 and will be competing for Mrs. Universal pageant next year in Aug at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. During the course of journey I have been associated with an NGO's like Multicap, UN woman National committee Australia, Heart foundation, The Salvation army and more to join in. I have my own NGO called Dignifying Women. We support women entrepreneur, small business owners from various industries... This is my chance to give it back to my Australian Family and I am now in position to do my bit too.


World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I was one of Judge for FACE WA Prestigious beauty pageant for Miss/ Mrs / Mr in Perth. Fasciltated by an event company for my community work ( Bulla Entertainment)

I am well established Fashion Icon of Brisbane and other metropolitan cities of Australia, I'm Professional International Published model, Event Manager and holds Private Pilot Licence. My Brand Upmafashionista promotes excellence in women's fashion. Director of Brides of Asia Queensland. I'm a winner of Face of Brisbane Mrs India Global 2018 and May Queen India 2007, I have been the front cover girl of 4 leading National fashion magazine in Australia and has been published in 35 magazines nationally and internationally.


World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

To be myself. I can only be who I am. I believe in giving my best shot without any negative thoughts and that's what I am going to do.


World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

My will to win attitude. My team and my passion to work for women. There's nothing better than shining and rising with TEAM.


World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

May Queen India 2007 was that moment was unbelievable moment, I never expected I could win ...


World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

Beauty Queen consist of inner beauty. She is imperfectly perfect. Great in her own skin. She is positive in every hardship, she can wear heels but she can also wear work boots and walk the rocky path.


World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

It gave me confidence to reach my finish line. ADD WHAT IS THAT LINE. It helped me to work for the cause ADD something from personal life too.


World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

I love to stay fit as my profession demands. I have learnt to be calmer, self worth and self respect is what I admire in others too. I am comfortable in my size and I am big believer of balanced diet. For a great body you must cleanse your inner soul too so I pray regularly. It gives me calm and peace.


World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I feel privileged & great. But it is a responsibility. I mentor fresher models too and believe me it's a big responsibility because someone is trusting you. I feel people who look up To me I would never disappoint them. I make sure that I think and then act. I can say that I love my supporters and admirers.


World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Walk as if no one's watching. Do not copy someone's walk. Create your own style. You must always consider what you are wearing, compliment your look and ask designer's expectation then adf attitude, elegance, class and above all your own style to your ramp or pageant walk.


World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

Dress which gives confidence to carry your personality. A costume says a lot about you. Some people may wear pyjamas at home but when they step out of their houses they slay it. Not because they wear expensive dresses but because of their smiles and confidence. Never compromise your confidence over a dress. Talk to your designers they know how to suit it to your liking.


World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Winning is momentary. I believe in winning hearts. I would say be positive & be clear in your communication. Use simple words but clear ideas. And above all listen carefully what is the question? Ask again if you are not clear.


World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

I think I prepared myself not just for this pageant but as I said this is who I am. Yes, for dresses and make up looks I have a team with whom I discuss my vision of the look and then we work towards it. I take my references from social media as well.


World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

I wish I could be more prepared for questionnaires in the past. But I guess I have that confidence and clarity now. I never do a mistake twice. After all if you do it again it's not a mistake it's carelessness.


World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

To be honest I focus my energy on positives of others. I don't focus on flaws because nobody is perfect. Everyone has a room to improve on.


World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

Yes Modelling Experience. I have appeared in more than 25 high profile fashion shows to name a few are Pacific fashion show, Lakme Australia fashion show, Bridal fashion Show, Raw, Gold coast fashion show, Red carpet, Angles with wings, Tafe Show, & Bulimba fashion show, Lady in red, Red carpet functions, New Zealand Couture show, and many more.

I have also gained significant and progressive experience in photo shoots and commercials


World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2018 as a Queen?

To make Mrs Australia Universal 2019 Journey memorable and bring home the crown.

People should remember me for my unconditional work and my desire to make every women's dream come true.
