World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?

Outside of the pageant world, I'm a wife, mom, executive assistant, and someone who genuinely believes that life is about serving others while continuing to grow into the best version of yourself. I'm passionate about health and wellness, especially after losing 146 pounds and discovering firsthand how choosing yourself can transform every area of your life. That journey inspired my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," where I encourage women—especially those over 45—to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

I also love spending time with my family, hosting backyard pool parties, kickboxing, treasure hunting at thrift stores, reading about the Elizabethan era, and creating meaningful memories with our two dogs, two birds, and the wonderfully chaotic household we call home. Professionally, I enjoy bringing order to chaos as an executive assistant, but my greatest passion is using my voice as a spokeswoman for the WIN Foundation International to help women heal, rediscover their worth, and find the courage to reclaim their own stories.

At the end of the day, crowns are beautiful, but the impact we make in the lives of others is what truly lasts. My greatest joy is inspiring women to believe that no matter their age or where their journey began, their next chapter can be their most powerful yet.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?

Education has always been an important part of my journey because I've always believed that learning gives us the confidence to grow and the tools to make a difference. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating magna cum laude, and later completed my Master of Arts in Literature, both from Hamline University.

My studies strengthened my love of storytelling, communication, and critical thinking—skills that have served me throughout my career as an executive assistant, in public speaking, and now as a titleholder and advocate. Literature taught me that every person has a unique story worth telling, and today I have the privilege of sharing my own story while encouraging other women to embrace theirs.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?

To me, women's empowerment means helping women recognize the strength that has always been within them. It's about reminding them that their worth isn't defined by their age, appearance, past mistakes, or life circumstances. Every woman deserves to feel seen, valued, and confident enough to pursue the life she dreams of.

My own journey has deeply shaped that belief. After losing 146 pounds, I learned that true transformation begins long before the physical changes. It starts with believing you are worthy of investing in yourself. That experience inspired my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," because I know firsthand that when a woman prioritizes her physical, mental, and emotional well-being, she gains the confidence to show up more fully in every area of her life.

Empowerment isn't about competing with one another—it's about lifting one another up, celebrating each other's successes, and creating spaces where every woman can thrive.

I believe the most empowered women are those who use their experiences—not just their achievements—to inspire hope in others. If my journey encourages even one woman to believe in herself again, then I know I've fulfilled a meaningful purpose.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?

Competition has always energized me—not as a desire to outshine others, but as a call to rise into the fullest expression of who I am meant to be. That spirit was sparked early, when my mother entered me into my first pageant in 1979 and I won the title of Junior Queen of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota – my hometown. I had no idea then that one simple moment would plant the seeds for a lifelong love affair with pageantry, purpose & personal growth.

As a young woman, pageantry broadened my worldview, strengthened my confidence & connected me to a community rooted in excellence & service. I idolized the iconic queens I watched on television—women whose elegance, intention & presence represented something far greater than a crown. They embodied using the power of pageantry as their microphone for amplifying causes close to their heart.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?

My very first inspiration came from my mom. As a young woman, she competed in pageants herself, and she always believed they were about much more than crowns or titles. She wanted me to experience the confidence that comes from learning how to carry yourself with grace, speak confidently in public, and command a room with poise and purpose.

She often told me that when a woman walks into a room, she should do so with confidence—not because she's seeking attention, but because she knows her worth. Those lessons stayed with me long after my first pageant.

Looking back, I realize pageantry gave me exactly what my mom hoped it would. It strengthened my public speaking skills, taught me how to communicate with authenticity, and helped me develop the confidence to lead and advocate for others.

Today, those same skills allow me to serve as Mrs. North Continent Classique Globe 2026 and a spokeswoman for the WIN Foundation International. While the crown is an incredible honor, the true gift of pageantry has been finding my voice and using it to encourage other women to believe in themselves. My mother planted that seed years ago, and I'm grateful every day that she did.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?

I chose to compete because the Mrs. Globe system represents everything I believe pageantry should be. It's not just about beauty—it's about purpose, leadership, service, and creating opportunities for women to make a meaningful impact in their communities and around the world.

What made this title stand out to me was its commitment to empowering women at every stage of life. As a woman over 45, I wanted to represent the idea that confidence, purpose, and ambition don't diminish with age—they grow stronger through our experiences. This title allows me to celebrate women who have lived full lives, overcome challenges, and continue to pursue their dreams with courage and grace.

I was also inspired by the organization's unwavering support of the WIN Foundation International. Knowing that I could serve as a spokeswoman for an organization dedicated to helping women heal, reclaim their voices, and rebuild their lives made this opportunity incredibly meaningful. My own journey has taught me the importance of resilience and self-worth, and I wanted a platform where I could use those experiences to encourage others.

Being crowned Mrs. North Continent Classique Globe 2026 is more than a personal achievement—it's a responsibility I cherish. It gives me the opportunity to inspire women to prioritize their health, embrace their unique stories, and realize that their greatest accomplishments may still be ahead of them. That's what truly makes this title special to me.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?

The Mrs. Globe system is so much more than a pageant—it's a global movement that empowers women to lead with purpose, service, and authenticity. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Tracy Kemble, it has grown into one of the world's most prestigious international pageant systems for married women, with more than 80 licensed programs around the world.

This year is especially meaningful because we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mrs. Globe—a milestone that honors three decades of creating opportunities for women to grow as leaders, ambassadors, and changemakers.

One of the things I admire most is that the organization celebrates women from every stage of life and ensuring that every woman has a chance to shine and be celebrated. In addition to the traditional Mrs. Globe division (age 25-44), there are also divisions including Mrs. Classique Globe for women 45+, Mrs. Petite Globe (under 5’ 5”) & Mrs. Curve' Globe (size 12-18).

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?

What sets our pageant owner, Dr. Tracy Kemble, apart is her unwavering commitment to empowering women beyond the competition itself. She doesn't simply crown titleholders—she invests in women as leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and changemakers.

Dr. Tracy has created a culture where every delegate feels valued, regardless of whether she leaves with a crown. Throughout pageant week, you experience genuine encouragement, mentorship, and sisterhood. She celebrates each woman's unique story and reminds us that our greatest purpose is not the title we wear, but the lives we touch.

I also admire her vision of connecting pageantry with purpose through the WIN Foundation International. Every event, workshop, and opportunity reinforces the idea that beauty should be paired with service and that our platforms should create lasting impact in our communities and around the world.

After celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mrs. Globe organization this year, it's clear that Dr. Tracy's legacy extends far beyond producing an exceptional pageant. She has built a global family where women of all ages are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their leadership skills, and support one another long after pageant week has ended.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?

The Mrs. Globe Classique competition evaluates much more than appearance. The judges are looking for women who embody confidence, authenticity, poise, and purpose across three areas of competition: Personality Profile, Pool Wear (Resort Wear for Curve contestants), and Evening Gown.

The Personality Profile is my favorite because it's an opportunity to share who you are beyond the crown. Rather than a traditional interview, delegates introduce themselves and communicate their story, values, and platform in a concise, impactful presentation. It's where authenticity truly shines.

The Pool Wear competition isn't about achieving a perfect body—it's about demonstrating confidence, health, and self-assurance. As someone who has lost 146 pounds, this portion represents far more than walking on stage. It's a celebration of choosing health, embracing self-love, and recognizing how far I've come.

Finally, the Evening Gown competition showcases elegance, grace, and stage presence. Judges are evaluating not only the gown itself but also how confidently each delegate carries herself and connects with the audience.

What I appreciate most about the Mrs. Globe system is that it recognizes the whole woman. While presentation is important, the qualities that truly distinguish a titleholder are confidence, character, leadership, communication, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?

My most unforgettable moment was sharing my story during the Personality Profile competition. In just 45 seconds, I had the opportunity to tell the judges and audience about my 146-pound weight-loss journey, my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," and my commitment to serving as a spokeswoman for the WIN Foundation International. It reminded me that our stories have the power to inspire others.

Beyond the competitions themselves, some of my greatest memories have come from the friendships I've formed with women from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. We may have arrived as competitors, but we left as sisters, cheering one another on and celebrating each other's successes.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?

Absolutely—I would recommend the Mrs. Globe system without hesitation.

What makes this organization so special is that it recognizes the whole woman. While it celebrates beauty and elegance, its true focus is on leadership, service, personal growth, and using your voice to make a positive impact. Whether you are competing for the first time or are an experienced titleholder, you are welcomed into a supportive sisterhood that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?

As Mrs. North Continent Classique Globe 2026, I am proud to serve as a spokeswoman for the WIN Foundation International, an organization dedicated to helping women heal, rediscover their voices, and reclaim their lives. Supporting women through education, encouragement, and resources is a mission that is incredibly close to my heart because I believe every woman deserves the opportunity to recognize her worth and build a brighter future.

My personal platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," was born from my own transformation. After losing 146 pounds, I realized that true health is about so much more than a number on a scale. It's about physical wellness, mental resilience, emotional healing, and having the confidence to believe you're worthy of investing in yourself. Through speaking engagements, community events, and social media, I encourage women—especially those over 45—to prioritize their health and understand that it's never too late to change the direction of their lives.

I also believe deeply in leading by example. Whether I'm volunteering at community events, fundraising for the WIN Foundation International, mentoring other women, or simply sharing my story, my goal is always the same: to inspire hope. If someone sees my journey and realizes that they, too, can overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams, then I've accomplished something far more valuable than winning a title.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?

Since being crowned Mrs. North Continent Classique Globe 2026 on June 20, my journey is just beginning, and it's already been an incredible experience.

My first responsibility has been sharing the excitement of my new title while introducing the mission behind my reign. I've been connecting with my community through social media, and celebrating with family, friends, and supporters who have been part of this journey. I've also continued promoting the important work of the WIN Foundation International and sharing my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," which encourages women to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to represent the Mrs. Globe organization through community appearances, speaking engagements, charity events, health and wellness initiatives, and fundraisers that support women and families. My goal is to use every appearance as an opportunity to inspire others, encourage healthy living, and remind women—especially those over 45—that it's never too late to pursue their dreams and make a meaningful impact.

Although my reign has only just begun, I'm looking forward to a year filled with service, advocacy, and building connections. For me, every appearance is more than representing a title—it's an opportunity to make a difference, one conversation and one community at a time.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?

Outside of pageantry, my proudest achievement has been transforming my own life. After losing 146 pounds, I discovered that true success isn't just about physical change—it's about developing confidence, resilience, and the courage to believe in yourself. That experience inspired my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," where I encourage women to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Academically, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude, and a Master of Arts in Literature from Hamline University. Those experiences gave me a lifelong love of learning and strengthened my communication skills, which I now use in public speaking and advocacy.

Professionally, I've built a rewarding career as an executive assistant, where I've had the opportunity to support executive leadership, lead complex projects, and build trusted relationships through organization, communication, and service.

Above all, I am most proud to be Mike's wife and Raina's mom. Their love, encouragement, and unwavering support have been the foundation of every accomplishment I've achieved, and they remind me every day what truly matters.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?

I believe what makes me stand out is my authenticity. Everything I speak about comes from personal experience, whether it's overcoming obesity, losing 146 pounds, embracing health and wellness, or learning that resilience is often born from life's greatest challenges.

I also bring the perspective of a woman who understands that beauty evolves with age and experience. As Mrs. North Continent Classique Globe 2026, I'm proud to represent women over 45 and to show that confidence, purpose, and influence don't diminish over time—they deepen. I hope to inspire women to see that their life experience is one of their greatest strengths.

Finally, I think my greatest strength is that I'm relatable. I'm a wife, a mom, a professional, and someone who has experienced both triumphs and setbacks. I've learned that resilience, compassion, and perseverance are qualities that connect us all. If my journey helps another woman believe in herself, prioritize her health, or take that first courageous step toward a new beginning, then I've fulfilled the purpose of wearing this crown.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?

The moment my name was announced, I felt overwhelming gratitude. I thought of my family, everyone who believed in me, and the incredible honor of using this crown to serve others. It was a reminder that dreams truly have no expiration date.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?

We're not just "beauty queens"—we're leaders, advocates, mentors, and role models who use our voices to inspire, serve, and create positive change. To me, the crown is a symbol of responsibility and the opportunity to leave a meaningful impact on others.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?

Pageantry has given me confidence, lifelong friendships, and a platform to make a difference. Most importantly, it has shown me that a crown is not about recognition—it's about using your voice to inspire and serve others.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?

Pageantry has taught me to appreciate my body for its strength rather than strive for perfection. After losing 146 pounds, I learned that true beauty comes from confidence, self-love, and embracing the woman I've become. Today, I stand on stage with pride because I know my worth comes from within.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?

It's truly humbling. If my journey inspires even one person to believe in themselves or take the first step toward a healthier, happier life, then I've fulfilled my purpose. My message is simple: it's never too late to rewrite your story. Believe in yourself, embrace your worth, and never let your age or your past define your future.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?

My strategy is simple: be authentic. Rather than trying to impress the judges, I focus on connecting with them through confidence, genuine joy, and being fully present. I believe authenticity leaves a far more lasting impression than perfection.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?

Preparation starts long before I step on stage. I focus on proper nutrition, consistent fitness, and taking care of my overall health so I feel my best from the inside out. I also choose a wardrobe that fits and flatters my body while reflecting my personality and confidence. When I feel healthy, prepared, and authentically myself, I can step on stage with confidence and truly enjoy the experience.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?

Walk with confidence & keep your posture strong, smile genuinely, and let your personality shine through every step. The best pageant walk isn't about copying someone else—it's about walking like you know you belong on that stage.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?

Choose a dress that makes you feel confident and authentically you. It should flatter your body, complement your personality, skin and hair tones, and allow you to move comfortably on stage. The most beautiful gown isn't always the most elaborate—it's the one you wear with confidence.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?

The Mrs. Globe system is unique because we don't have a traditional interview. Instead, we compete in a 45-second Personality Profile, where we're challenged to introduce ourselves, share our platform, and make a meaningful connection in a very short amount of time. My strategy is to be authentic, speak from the heart, and focus on my story rather than trying to deliver a perfect speech.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?

If I could redo one thing, I would have listened sooner to the staff who shared tips on taking care of your feet during pageant week. Comfortable, well-cared-for feet make a huge difference when you're spending long days in heels – I have a weakness for shoes! It's a small lesson, but one I'll definitely carry with me into future competitions!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?

One of the biggest mistakes I see is contestants trying to copy past winners. While it's great to learn from successful queens, judges are looking for authenticity, not imitation. The women who stand out are the ones who embrace their own personality, tell their own story, and let their unique qualities shine.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?

I've had the opportunity to participate in multiple fashion shows throughout the years, which have helped me develop confidence, stage presence, and poise on the runway. While I don't have acting experience, I was honored to be selected as this year's promotional model for the Mrs. Globe SMILE Makeover Program, representing Inspired Dentistry and Dr. Alice Chen of Seattle, Washington. It has been an incredible experience showcasing the confidence that comes from a healthy, beautiful smile. I was also honored to be featured on the cover of Feminine Boss Magazine, which was a wonderful opportunity to share my journey and platform with an even broader audience. One of the exciting opportunities that has come through the Mrs. Globe organization is the potential for future modeling projects, and if those opportunities come to fruition, I would be honored and excited to be part of them.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?

My goals for the coming year are to make a meaningful impact both in my community and within the Mrs. Globe organization. I plan to actively fundraise for the WIN Foundation International, help recruit future contestants so more women can experience the life-changing benefits of pageantry, and prepare to represent my title on the international stage next summer. Most importantly, I want to continue sharing my own 146-pound weight-loss journey through my platform, "A Queen's Health Is Her Wealth," to encourage women to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. If my story inspires even one woman to believe in herself and choose her health, I'll consider my reign a success.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?

I hope my legacy is that of a woman who was resilient and never gave up, no matter the obstacles she faced. I want to show other women that they don't have to choose between their dreams and the people they love—they can unapologetically have it all. I am proud to be a devoted wife, a loving mother, a successful career woman, and a queen, and I hope my journey inspires others to believe they can pursue every chapter of their lives with confidence, purpose, and grace. Above all, I hope people remember me as someone who used her crown to lift others up and leave the world a little better than she found it.
