It is with immense pride and gratitude that I stand before you all today as the esteemed Titleholder of Mrs Elite USA Celebrity International 2026. This prestigious recognition was bestowed upon me by SSVJ Model Media - Hollywood, USA, under the Guidance of the Founder Shreyaa Sumi. I am a proud mum of three beautiful daughters and a grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. I empower younger and mature woman to be a better version of themselves. I am deeply committed to protecting our environment, ensuring that no one goes hungry, and advocating for clean water and safe living conditions for communities around the world. I believe in a future where technology and sustainability work hand in hand to protect our planet for generations to come. With five pageant  titles and many charity event recognitions, I am honored to now hold my sixth international title. Since childhood, I dreamed of standing on the pageant stage, and today I am living that dream with grace and determination. My heartfelt thanks to my Mentor and Director, Shreyaa Sumi for giving me this incredible opportunity. Support my journey to the International pageant in Malaysia this July 2026.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?

As a mum of three daughters, balancing my studies with work and parenting has certainly been challenging. I took the plunge and enrolled in night classes, often sacrificing family time so I could strengthen my skills for a better corporate office role. I completed my National Computing Certification in 2015, and as the years went on, I continued my development through online business courses, earning additional certificates. I am currently finishing another online business course. Over time, I have attended various programs and achieved multiple certifications. I also served as Secretary for the Multicultural Satellite Club Waitākere Rotary for several years, completing my voluntary role in 2024. During this period, I was managing a busy administrative position while participating in numerous beauty pageants. Essentially, I have been learning continuously and growing within the corporate environment.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?  Women’s empowerment is deeply meaningful to me. I love supporting women around the world, and I’ve inspired and helped many to improve themselves. I want every woman to be seen and heard. I know that for too long, many women have struggled with confidence, which often affects their relationships with family and partners. With the right mindset, women can begin to believe in themselves, feel beautiful, and make strong decisions that reflect their talents and unique intelligence. I believe self‑belief is essential — one simple, positive thought can create a wonderful life for any woman.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?  I have always dreamed of entering pageants since my teenage years, watching TV and seeing the beauty and elegance of women around the world in their gowns and costumes. I never imagined that at 60 years old I would finally step into this world. I came across an ad for a beauty pageant called Miss National World Wide 2022–2024 and decided to enter, much to my own surprise. I was chosen as a finalist, which was incredibly exciting. In July 2022, I won Miss Charity Queen World Wide 2022–2024. That achievement marked the beginning of many more beauty pageants to come, and I continued entering various competitions.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?  The defining moment that motivated me to enter my first beauty pageant was reading in the advertisement that there were no height, age, or size restrictions. I felt this was a wonderful opportunity, so I completed the form and decided to go for it. I wanted to support people in the community and contribute to charities, and I continue to help various charitable causes to this day. I also realised that participating in pageants would help me grow as a person and connect with people around the world.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?  I am very happy to be the appointed titleholder of Mrs Elite USA Celebrity International 2026. It is with great pride that I represent the USA and contribute to helping people around the world. This title gives me an even greater reach to connect with individuals in the USA and globally, with the hope that one day we can all stand together as one world. I am doing my best to bring positivity into a time when so much feels negative, encouraging unity, visibility, and support for one another. That is why I am proud to hold the title of Mrs Elite USA Celebrity International 2026 crowned by SSVJ Model Media based in Hollywood USA.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?  SSVJ Model Media LLC is a production and publication company, as well as a talent mentorship platform. The company is also the base for the Top 5 International Pageants. Our charity message for Mrs USA Celebrity International highlights the “No Waste, No Hate” social cause, promoting kindness, sustainability, and positive change within communities.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?  I feel that Shreyaa Sumi is truly inspiring to everyone who sees her. She is a very humble woman who has grown through her own talent, hard work, gratitude, and grace. She has always known what she wanted and pursued it with determination. Today, she has become very famous and genuinely deserves everything that goes with her fame and success. A person of integrity and intelligence should never be taken lightly, and her journey reflects the power of belief and self‑love. Bless her.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?  My experience as a Beauty Queen has taught me that competitions are never just about the crown or the beautiful gowns you wear. The most important crown is the invisible one you carry within yourself. For me, pageantry is about the people in our communities and the commitment to helping and caring for those in need.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?  Helping charities and supporting people has been the most meaningful part of my competition experience. It feels wonderful to know I am doing good in the world. Connecting with individuals and understanding their struggles allows me to offer guidance in the best way I can. I don’t have all the answers, but I continue listening, encouraging people to stay positive, and reminding them that a strong mindset is the only way forward if we want to change our world.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?  I would absolutely recommend my pageant system to others. I love empowering women to become the best version of themselves, helping them feel more positive about their appearance and more confident in pursuing education and improving their skills for higher‑paying roles within the industry.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?  I’m passionate about advocating for charities, especially the Cancer Society and Breast Cancer causes. I recently held two fundraising events, which allowed me to support these important organisations and contribute to the work they do for individuals and families affected by cancer.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?   With my current and previous titles, I have been involved in many fundraising events for various charities, as well as fashion shows and multiple beauty pageants where I supported different systems. I have also participated in magazine features, attended Rotary conferences, and even judged a beauty pageant last year.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?

I have a variety of interests outside of pageantry, including singing lessons and martial arts, where I am currently working toward my belts. I also enjoy going to the gym and I love dancing. I’m involved in marketing a hip hop group, and I participate in modelling and catwalk shows whenever opportunities arise. I also enjoy long walks, spending time at the beach, and traveling to explore new places.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?  I believe I stand out through my aura and the light I carry from within as a woman who believes in miracles. I am charming, authentic, and have a unique look, being a blend of five different nationalities with naturally beautiful skin. I have worked hard to improve both my body and my mind, finding peace within myself and confidence in my complexion. To me, this is not only the key to being a Beauty Queen — it is the genuine light that shines from my heart.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?  The excitement of being chosen felt like a dream come true as I watched all the beautiful queens holding their USA titles. I feel incredibly grateful to represent such an extraordinary country. I truly feel blessed, and I know this is meant to be my next path. I carry deep gratitude and strong confidence as I step forward to represent the USA.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?  Being a Beauty Queen is a precious privilege that should never be taken lightly. What I respect and represent in this role is maintaining high standards, being a dedicated part of the organisation, and giving my very best to the title I hold. I continue mastering my craft and engaging with many companies and brands to expand opportunities, including serving as a Brand Ambassador for SSVJ Model Media, based in Hollywood, USA, during my reign. My purpose is to help people understand that our work is deeply connected to supporting charities and uplifting communities. I also strive to bring more women into the world of beauty pageants, showing them how becoming a Beauty Queen can open doors, create meaningful opportunities, and connect them with people who can shape their future.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?  Being a Beauty Queen with many crowns has truly shaped my life. For me, it begins with responsibility and honouring the organisation I represent. Upholding high standards and staying consistent with people and the community is something I take very seriously. Pageantry has given me greater confidence as a person and has allowed me to connect with people around the world whom I may never have met otherwise. I am proud of myself for achieving so many goals. My journey as a Beauty Queen has helped me understand my worth, recognise my limitations, and learn how to reach people across all cultures. It has given me a clear sense of where I am needed in the world — my calling. I feel empowered to support charities and to encourage women to step out of their comfort zones.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?  Pageants have influenced my self‑esteem and body image by encouraging me to start working on myself from the inside out. As a Beauty Queen, I’ve become more aware of how I show up within myself first — carrying confidence, self‑respect, and a strong sense of identity. This journey has helped me build great self‑esteem and a deeper belief in my abilities. It has also made me more mindful of my diet, my fitness, and the way I maintain my figure, because my image is an important part of who I am as a Beauty Queen. Most importantly, it has taught me that true beauty begins with self‑care, discipline, and the way you honour self‑care as a daily practice.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?  I am an inspiration to many, and I feel truly blessed to have been given such meaningful opportunities. I deeply appreciate how people connect with my journey. I’m doing this not only for myself, but for all the women in more mature stages of life who feel they cannot step into pageantry because of height, weight, or size. I want them to know that there is a Queen within every woman. We simply need to bring her forward and show the world what we can achieve when we believe in ourselves and our goals.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?  To captivate the judges’ eyes on stage, the first essential element is stage presence — showing confidence in your own skin and owning every moment you step into the spotlight. The second is strong modelling skills, which demonstrate poise, control, and elegance. It’s also important to recognise your worth as you stand before the judges and to remember how fortunate you are to be on that stage, representing your journey with pride.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?   To prepare myself for a beauty pageant, I focus on having a strong attitude and mindset first. From there, I dedicate time each week to strengthening my legs, practising my walk, and perfecting my turns. Consistent practice is essential, and repeating these movements helps me feel confident, controlled, and ready for the stage.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?  The perfect pageant walk is the moment your confidence meets your elegance, creating a presence the judges instantly feel impressed by. Every step should be intentional, graceful, and worthy of the crown.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?  Choosing the right dresses for a beauty pageant begins with selecting colours that complement your skin tone and styles that truly flatter your body shape. If you know the stage backdrop in advance, it’s wise to bring a few different gown options so you can ensure your dress stands out beautifully under the lights.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?  To win in an interview, I stay true to myself and speak from the heart about how I feel in different situations. I share my authentic story rather than copying anyone else, standing confidently in my own power as the woman before them. I show the judges how important this moment is for me as a finalist, staying true to myself and to every word I express.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?  If I were to look back, there is nothing I would change. I believe I became a Beauty Queen for a greater reason — a blessing that guided me to where I am meant to be. My path continues forward with purpose: to empower women and to help people around the world. This journey has shaped my calling, and I embrace it with gratitude.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?  In my opinion, some participants in beauty pageants don’t always take the experience seriously, especially when it comes to training and understanding how important it is to give their all. I don’t think they realise the incredible opportunities that await them when they become a Title Holder — the impact they can make for themselves, their communities, and the world. A Queen has the potential to open doors, create meaningful connections, and inspire more women to step into their own power.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting? I have attended two modelling training courses — one at the age of 16 and another at 35. Over the past three years, I’ve worked consistently with a photographer to create professional images for potential opportunities on my Instagram. I’ve participated in various fashion catwalk shows, and I’m also an actor and film extra, appearing in several productions and several TV commercials. Although my roles have been as an extra, I’m eager to expand further into acting and modelling work.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen? In the upcoming year as a Queen, I’m focused on empowering more women and continuing my work with charities. I also want to contribute more to environmental causes, which are deeply important to me. My goal is to use my platform to inspire positive change, support meaningful initiatives, and help create a better world for the communities I care about.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?  The legacy I want to leave is a reminder that age is only a number, and women can still achieve their dreams at any stage of life. I envision a cleaner, greener environment for future generations, and I want to empower women around the world to become the best version of themselves. I encourage more women to join beauty pageants in 2027 and pursue the Titles crowned by SSVJ Model Media - USA, stepping forward with a positive mindset for their future selves. This is what I believe in wholeheartedly.
