World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I was born in Mexico where I resided for 22 years before moving to the United States of America. I am a Chemical Engineer, with the aspiration on becoming a Nuclear Engineer. I am presently the manager of two laboratories specializing in the environmental field. I am a mom of a cute little boy who is the love of my life. I am a very passionate woman who enjoy the simple things in life.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
To be a voice for those who are unspoken, to give courage to those who are afraid and to give love to those in need.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I am currently participating in my first pageant, running for Señora New Mexico 2019, and I am proudly representing the City of Albuquerque with the title of Señora Albuquerque 2019.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
To break some of the stereotypes that plagued woman in the world. Beauty can be combined with kindness, knowledge and love.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Señora New Mexico Pageant focuses on varies types of beauty in woman with direct support towards and with the communities around us.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
The competition is being judge based on an Interview, Fitness Attire, Fashion Runway, Formal Gown and Heritage Dress. In addition there is Social Media, Physique, Elegance, and People Choice Awards.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
This competition has been full of great moments, meeting the community and hosting charity events. I have met other woman working towards similar goals as myself. This competition is allowing me to discover new aspects of myself and embrace my own type of beauty.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
My platform is helping me to bring the community together with team work from my sponsors creating community events in service to the City Albuquerque.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
As Señora Albuquerque 2019 I have participated in a Back to School charity event giving free haircuts, backpacks and School Supplies to the community. I have attended the anniversary dinner of a Medical Clinic and currently in preparation in partnership with my sponsors in future projects always thinking in our community.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
I have achieved a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. I am now a Bilingual woman managing two laboratories. Being a proud mother to a strong and kind little boy is my greatest achievement of all.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Confidence and preparation with my will to show that a queen can be more than just beauty.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
All of us beautiful women stand out together, it is hard to separate myself from the others, on that day the judges will be left with that task to find that separation.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
Our competition is still on going for the title of Señora New Mexico 2019.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
To me, be a Queen means responsibility in association with my community and to those around me to be a voice of service. Being a Queen is to be selfless, caring, and supportive to everyone. A role model creating a path for others to follow.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
This being my first pageant, has giving me the opportunity to view myself in different ways. It has brought new people into my life giving me more blessings and things to be thankful for.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
I am a strong believer in that our body image does not depict who we are in this world. Who we are comes from inside and that is our true beauty. Being a strong woman in todays world is important to grow from the inside out.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I feel a lot of responsibility but I feel honor to be able to have an opportunity to use this pageant to inspire those girls to find their inner queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Walk always with confidence, find a comfortable pair of shoes, practice how to move your arms in harmony with your body, always keep your head up and smile.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
For me, it is very important to select a dress that reflects your personality to feel comfortable. With being comfortable comes elegance and happiness, Be yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
In my professional experiences, I have learned for any interview, you need to be prepared, be informed and speak clearly.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I have been taking my time selecting each of my outfits matching shoes and accessories, I stay healthy with right mindset building confidence each step of the way.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
My competition is no yet over, but I will be sure to look back for thing I could have done better.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I started modeling at age 15 in Chihuahua, Mexico. I have operated under multiple talent agencies. I act in short films, commercial spots, and have performed in musical videos. I am currently the image of a beauty salon in Albuquerque New Mexico. I have been published in various national, and international magazines.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
I plan to use my title to create a platform of community service and become a role model for all women to be greater than they see themselves. We are all stars in the sky looking for our chance to be brighter.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want to leave a legacy of kindness, hardworking, caring, and love. My legacy, my work, everything I do is for my son to grow to be a strong man in life seeing a supportive strong woman as a mother and role model. I want to leave a positive trace on the heart of those around me.
