World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.

I am an active person and enjoy trying something new and feeling new emotions, I like experimenting. Daily I work in a business environment, I am an entrepreneur, I provide accounting services and financial advice on business in Latvia. World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Women right now have great opportunities: to show our personalities and fight for our dreams and goals as equals. The most important thing is to keep the feminine beauty.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

The first pageant I participated in was Mrs. Latvia 2018, and at that moment I knew that I like it and I want to participate in the international pageant Mrs. Top of The World 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

It happened very suddenly, I have never been interested in beauty pageants before – I just decided to apply, my application was approved and so I became a participant of Mrs. Latvia 2018 beauty pageant. World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Beauty pageant Mrs. Top of The World 2019 was a great opportunity for me to compete for the title on an international level, as well as to meet new people and to explore a new culture.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The aim of the pageant is to show the world that the participants are able to help those in need. A charity project “Help Africa” was founded as a part of this pageant.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Participants are judged for the whole duration of the pageant, there are several events during the competition. Judges focus on how a participant looks, behaves and communicates with other participants, how prepared she is for the competition and what outfits has she chosen.

Of course, judges will consider how impressive is the participant’s final performance on stage. Final consists of 3 stages – a national costume, a swimsuit and an evening gown.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

As soon as I began, I felt more confident in front of the cameras, since the press is always there and you do photoshoots – it is a great opportunity to improve. I also enjoyed working with professional choreographers a lot to improve my pageant walk skills.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. I support charity whenever possible, I donate money or clothes to children and people in need. Also, I support animal shelters as much as I can. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have participated in various beauty events, photoshoots and charity events.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

One of my latest achievements is the title of “Mrs Top of The World”, as well as successful management and development of my own business that I invest a lot of time in.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

In my opinion, every woman has something special, you just need to learn to see it in yourself and to emphasize your own “special beauty”, your individuality. For example, I can be proud of my grace and feminine movement.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

It was unexpected! To tell the truth, I was very tired after the final and preparation, and in that moment, when they called my name, it was a happy surprise, a great excitement – everything at once! I consciously understood what happened and that I can be proud of achieving the title only on the next day.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

It is a great responsibility to be a beauty queen, you have to be bright and beautiful, grow as a person and inspire other women every day. However, I am very happy to be an example on how to become feminine and beautiful, to inspire other women. I believe that beauty has a great power. Beauty can save the world, make it better and happier.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

Pageants helped me to meet a lot of great people both among the organizers and participants. I still keep in touch with several girls and it is really great that you can find good friends despite rivalry. World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

I love myself and my body. I already had good self-esteem before the pageant, so I don’t think that participation in the pageant has brought a lot of change for me.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?It feels great and makes me feel good, however, we must not forget that to inspire someone you must be perfect and it is a lot of work on external and internal beauty, it is not easy.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

In my opinion, it is very important to look at the audience and judges for them to feel the eye contact. I try to be open and free on stage, but it also depends on the music and on-stage activity. I feel patriotic in the national costume, when I come on stage with a flag I try to represent my country, that I am very proud, of as good as I can, while during a bikini walk I try to be more open and think about my movement, since it must be confident and calculated, and it is easy to notice during this activity. Evening gowns give me a calm, slightly romantic and tender feeling, which I try to transfer to the audience in front of me. World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

Before the competition I trained according to a custom training plan and focused on correct nutrition for the best possible result. Of course, I spent a lot of time on choosing fabrics for my dresses, we worked on ideas for the national costume and evening gown with my seamstress – everything was custom-made for this competition. The bikini I wore on stage was also handmade by us. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

I have learned pageant walk before in a model agency; thus, it was not completely new for me, however, I worked on the walk technique before the competition as well. Movement must be elegant, feminine and confident at the same time. Every pose requires a slight pause to smile for the audience and the judges. The walk must be calm and go together with the rhythm of music. Of course, you must enjoy the moment of being on stage – a unique feeling that you want to experience again and again. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

When I chose my dress for the final, I gave a lot of thought to the colour of the dress. The colour must make you feel perfect. My perfect colour is red, I love this colour, therefore we made a bright-red dress with lace that creates a feminine character and represents me on the stage. For other pageant days I chose elegant dresses in bright colours that always get noticed and make you stand out among other girls. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Feel free and confident in front of the cameras. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? I think that there were no significant mistakes that I would wish to change, maybe I would slightly change my hair for the final, if I had more time and another chance. World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

The most common mistake, in my opinion, is the hurried walk. You must pay attention to it, especially when we walk in pairs – the walk must be beautiful and synchronous. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? I learned acting only in the model agency, but I have experience as a model – I have participated in photoshoots of different styles. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?

In 2020 I plan to participate in Mrs. Europe 2020. We already started to prepare.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I want to leave behind beautiful memories and emotions, it is the best thing to remember in the old age, something for you and your children to be proud of. Your Local Director: Kristine Linderblate
