World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am from Benin, I came to United States in 2008. I have 4 beautiful boys. I love to sing and was involved with my high school musical group for years. I also did modeling for 4 years. Here in USA I am known for my exotic hair styling -skills.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Women Empowerment means encouraging and supporting women at any time they need it and help them achieve their biggest goals. I want to inspire women to find their own voice and place in the society.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I began pageants in 2000 where I won the 1st title of Miss coca cola in my country Republic of Benin. So when I came here in United states one day I went to an event called America Kids Multicultural America Nation Halloween fashion show with my boys, and I met the CEO of the America Kids Multicultural World Organization and Miss & Mrs America Nation - Ms. Krystal Okeke. Then she encouraged me to join Miss & Mrs. America Nation which represents beauty and inspiration and it’s also about empowering people to take pride in their origin and culture. After our meeting I signed all the documents and I went to a photoshoot with other Queens. It was wonderful and I had a lot of fun.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
When I was in Benin, I always like to watch pageant shows and the way they are always smiling, shining with their crown and the way they empowered women was amazing. One day I said that I have to try to pursue a career in pageantry . so I can wear my crown and sash and make people see that it’s not only about beauty but, it’s also about getting important things in our community done.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I choose to compete for my title because I can let people know where I came and show them my beautiful culture. Also , I want to empower other women, I want them to always believe in themselves and know that they can achieve anything.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Miss & Mrs America Nation is an organization founded by Ms Krystal Okeke. This organization is about all diversity in cultures. We have girls and women from age 12 to 70. This organization help girls and women to trust in themselves so they can achieve anything they want to, to empower other girls and women.
Miss & Mrs America Nation give opportunity to girls and women to make appearances and give back to the society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
During the competition I’m judged on my community service, my cultural display, my evening gown elegance, my self confidence and the runway walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
My experience during the competition is that I learn more tips to be the best title holder I always dream of.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
My platform is to help the homeless.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
A huge charity in my Country Benin. I feed over 60 to 100 kids. I have also been involved in helping the underprivileged people.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
Donate to children in my country Kithe Republic of Benin. I have also been blessed to be a women empowerment advocate.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
My strategy is to show them that I’m there to win and that I can do all it takes to be a winner by displaying my personality.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? What makes me stand out from other beautiful girls is my personality, my uniqueness and my kind heart.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was so happy, I thank God and I said to myself that I will always do all I can to always be a winner.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means a world to me to be a beauty Queen and it also means that I’m an inspiration and a role model to every woman out there.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Competing in pageant helped me to know that in this life I have to work hard , you matter the situation.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
Pageant helped me to be confident, to have courage, to know that I’m beautiful and that I can be a blessing to others.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It feels wonderful to be an inspiration to all the girls out there. I have to show all the girls out there to always trust themselves, not to give up on their dreams and to be positive in all situations.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
My tips for learning better pageant walk, first of all is to keep my head straight, second of all keep my chest up. After that, look and imagine a straight line, then walk graciously through it and turn.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
The first tip is to look if the dress is beautiful and elegant. The second tip is to try it. The third tip is to feel that when you wear that dress, you are going to win.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
My tips for winning interview are to take a deep breath, to make sure that you understand the question and say what you think about it with smile self confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I prepare for my pageant by watching other pageants show, by practicing my walk and by reading pageants magazine’s interview questions.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
The mistake was not to trust my self.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
During the contest other girls are nervous and they don’t have self esteem.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
Yes I modeling experience.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?
My plans for 2020 as a Queen are to help the homeless and any person who need help. As a Queen I will be a voice for people with no voice and I will let them know my culture.
