I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I have begun my Philosophy of Doctorate studies at Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center. I am an Illinois School Board of Education instructor certified to teach Psychology, Sociology, and Special Education. This year I am teaching Civics and World Studies for the Special Education Department. I develop curriculum for students with varying abilities. I am the Director for the Al Raby High School Staff Social Club. I am an Administrative Secretary for the Honorable Dorothy Brown Mayoral Candidacy Campaign. I have been licensed as a home day care provider through the State of Illinois for several years. I am a member of the All Nations Worship Center located in Chicago, Illinois. World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you? Amazing that you should ask me such a question because I was just recently meditating on this very topic. Empowerment to me is when one can live the quality of life that makes them feel fulfilled and have the intellect, influence and resources available to guide others into living their best lives and becoming their most self-actualized selves. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. I remember riding on the city bus, many years ago, and this man asked me to do a complimentary photoshoot and being very devout I was humored and intrigued by such an idea. I was approached again by another gentleman and followed through, this time, on his photoshoot proposal. It was fun but I didn’t pursue the beauty pageant path with him. I was also approached to have my image prominently painted as a mural on a wall within the City of Chicago. My professional pageant history begin with Madame Krystal Okeke of the Miss. & Mrs. America Nation Pageant. I met her during one of her appearances at a fashion show for the 2019 Mayoral Candidate, Madame Dorothy Brown. She saw promise and a future for me in her Miss. & Mrs. America Nation Beauty Pageant System. My inaugural crowning was on my birthday Sunday, December 30, 2018. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? My first pageant will convene in Chicago in March, 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I chose to compete for the title Ms. Midwest America Nation for greater empowerment and influence to go throughout the Midwest of America giving to the poor and underprivileged for children and their families while inspiring others to do the same. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The Miss. & Mrs. America Nation Pageant System is created to empower women age 12-56 years old. This pageant system is a Local, National & International pageant system designed to inspire, build and acknowledge every individual regardless of race, ethnicity or religion. It’s a movement of inspiring and empowering young women with a great purpose. Everyone has a purpose on earth and with this pageant system we are devoted in keeping individuals focused on their dreams. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? Poise, Presentation and Humanitarian Service World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. It is scheduled for March 2019 World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. My platform is to give resources and help grant the prayers and wishes of underprivileged children and low-income families. I am developing my 501(c)3 organization called Provision Unlimited and people all over the Midwest will receive services and goods given to them through the generous donations of others. Individuals of all races, cultures, faiths, classes and developmental stages of age are welcomed and invited to partake in the provisions. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? My first appearance was to the inner city Alba Pantry where I donated many pairs of Nike gym shoes. My next appearance was to pass out fresh fruits, vegetables , meats, canned goods, milk, juice and personal wear at the Apostle Bridget Outlaw Pantry which serves 3500 Chicagoans every month. World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. I have begun my Doctorate Degree in Psychology. I have been a certified public school teacher in three American cities being Florida, Arizona and Chicago. I have written a children’s book that will soon be published. I became an American Veteran serving as a supply secretary for Military Officers and Enlisted Personnel. World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over? Being authentic while showing a transparent heart of love for self and others. Being transparent regarding my passion for living life on a mission. World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? Showing beauty within and transparently throughout one’s life. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. The pageant will be in March 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? It means to show the nature of God’s beauty upon your physical appearance along with the spiritual passion of eternal beauty “of love” to all. To shine forth a powerful physical and spiritual light reminiscent of angels. World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants help your life? My first competition will be held in March 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: How have pageants helped your self-esteem and body image? It has made me take a closer look at embracing practices that enhance vigorous energy, health and beauty. I have added new beauty regimen professionals to my private network who have taught me a lot about caring for, treasuring and maintaining one’s beauty. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? It feels so Amazing! I want to make sure girls feel like they can be beautiful and accomplished also. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? Envision yourself in the most positive way and get that unconquerable feeling of empowerment and it will show through in your body language as you walk, inspiring others. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress? Choose a dress that professionally fits within the range of your natural hues. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? Be authentic and transparent with your heart. What’s from the heart reaches the heart. World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition? Consulting with professionals. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? My first competition will be held in March, 2019. World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
It is important that girls speak with confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I have done photo shoots. I have acted as an extra on several television shows such as: playing a reoccurring doctor on Chicago Med, reoccurring roles on Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and I have graced the Empire studios as an actress. I played a teacher’s role as an extra in the movie, “Light It Up” with Baby Face productions along with the starring role of the Ms. America Beauty Queen, Ms. Vanessa Williams herself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
I plan to establish my non for profit agency “Provision Unlimited” and abundantly serve people of all walks of life including the underprivileged and low-income families through the Midwest of America with generously donated funds.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I hope to establish agencies, schools and businesses that teach and help people to propagate and maintain wealth, health, spiritual illumination and enduring loving relationships for their lifetime and generations to come.
