I like this question! I am a happy and fun woman, I like to take on challenges, and I consider myself very transparent. I am married and I have 3 beautiful children who are my greatest motivation, life as a mother is truly chaotic but beautiful. In the year 2021 I had to live one of the worst stages of my life, I lost my father to pandemic and I almost lost my husband, he was about to die and thank God after 45 days in the intensive care unit, I managed to beat the disease. Episodes that marked my life forever and now I have another perspective of the family and of life itself. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your upbringing. Of course! I studied administration, but I always liked glamour, which led me to be a make-up artist and a professional model. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does empowering women mean to you? I think it's a very popular topic today. Empowerment is taking control of your life, your body, your feelings, your finances. It goes beyond a nice photo, it is loving you, respecting you, and understanding that women go through different physical and emotional processes throughout our lives. It is doing things with conviction in any area of your life. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history. I think this is one of my favorite questions, I started competing at 18 years old in 2007 where I got my first crown, after that I fell in love with beauty pageants and the power they have to transform a woman, after that I participated in 9 more contests and currently I hold 7 crowns. And my earliest goal is to bring the international crown for which I will compete this September in the Dominican Republic. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to enter your first pageant? I wanted to live the experience, at that time everything was new for me, I learned and had a lot of fun, then I fell in love with the experience, meeting new people and the personal growth I achieved with my first crown. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? My greatest motivation was to be reborn again after a year in which I suffered a lot due to the loss of my father, I wanted to remind myself who I am and everything I am capable of achieving when I set my mind to it. I felt like a butterfly coming out of the cocoon, it was the most rewarding. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: For those of you who are not familiar with your pageant system, tell us what it is all about. My organization has 2 pillars, integral beauty and leadership, we are looking for a complete queen capable of influencing responsibly. The regional winners compete in the national contest, who have the responsibility of representing Peru abroad. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are they judged on during the competition? Scoring starts from day 1 of the competition, evaluating commitment, punctuality, stage development, catwalk, effective communication and the ability to transmit beyond a smile. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition. I grew a lot during the competition, I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, I believe that you always learn something new in each experience, and this was an opportunity for me to feel powerful and valuable. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause you volunteer for. In the organization we have an NGO that brings help to families with limited economic resources, calling on the community and private companies to get more involved with our people and be able to make a change in our country. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you made with your title? Soon I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic in September to compete for the international crown of Nuestra Belleza Turismo Universo, which has me very excited. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What Are Some Of Your Accomplishments? Obtaining 7 crowns was not easy, it requires a lot of commitment and perseverance. In 2020 I opened my model school together with my partner. And I have to say that overcoming depression is undoubtedly one of my greatest achievements, since getting out of that dark hole that almost led me to death was not easy at all, but I did it! And now I am a stronger woman and have decided to live responsibly for my family and myself. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? I believe that what differentiates people is your essence, your way of being, your brilliance. Beyond the experience I may have is my joy and the professionalism with which I take on each challenge. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the time your name was proclaimed the winner. I felt very moved, they placed the band and the crown on me and at that moment I understood that every effort has its reward. My family and friends were happy, they are always supporting me in every challenge. Without a doubt, these are moments that will mark my life forever as a reward for effort. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a beauty queen? Being a beauty queen is much more than winning a crown, a queen is a tool to carry a message of inspiration responsibly. We have the opportunity to use our platforms to build projects that improve our community. It is a great responsibility to positively influence our society and help recover what we as humanity are losing. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants help your life? I love this part because I learned a lot from competing, I knew that you can always be a better version of yourself, that you can always continue to grow, face my biggest fears like public speaking, putting on a swimsuit and feeling fabulous without fear. Today I am a woman sure of myself, of what I want for myself, and it helped me find one of my passions like modeling. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants helped your self-esteem and body image? They definitely made me see the potential that I have, how beautiful you feel in that moment and you look in the mirror and say: wow, is it me? You learn to value how beautiful you are regardless of your age or size. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all girls. How does it feel? It is a great responsibility, I like to share the experience with girls who aspire to be a better version of themselves. Motivating them positively is a beautiful thing World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What's your strategy on stage to win over the judges? The key is to always show security, in every step, in every look at the jury and the public, and especially when answering questions. Go out and give everything on stage and enjoy the moment. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition? I took public speaking, catwalk and dance classes, in addition to working with my team to wear the correct outfit and styling in each presentation. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning how to walk better in pageants? The key is practice, practice makes perfect, a good pair of heels that give you good support, a lot of security and enjoy the process. The best teacher is not necessary, the best weapon is perseverance. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress? Pay attention to color and silhouette: knowing your body style will allow you to highlight your best attributes. In the same way, taking into account both the color of your skin and that of your hair can help you choose those shades of dresses that best suit you. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning an interview? Always speaking with confidence and propriety are one of the keys, a correct styling such as a knee-length dress or a jumpsuit with palazzo pants accompanied by neutral makeup looks great. Doing an investigation of the current situation, putting aside the nerves and preparing in advance will result in the success of your interview. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake you made during competition that you wish you could redo and correct? Managing nerves when responding is something that I always practice, I would have liked to have been able to expand more safely. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes do girls make during the pageant? Choosing a good makeup and hairstyle according to your type of face is key, it will make you stand out or not stand out. Always remember to take into account skin tone and trends to choose the most suitable styling for the final gala. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience? I have worked as a model for several brands in my country, for dress brands, catalogues, shoes and casual wear. I learned a lot from each of them. I would like to venture into acting one day, it would be something totally new. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as queen? For now we have plans to work with the NGO generating projects that help improve the quality of life of families in our community. And to continue to prepare for my next competition in September, we have a lot of work to do and it's exciting. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? The legacy that I would like to leave is to inspire many people, the more the better, to believe in themselves, to fight for their dreams, and never give up. I want to be remembered as a source of motivation and inspiration, and thus help people who, like me, when I was perhaps at a somewhat depressed and negative moment in my life, found through my family, through personal development, that strength and that inner power to get ahead, because in the same way I would like to help. And I believe that today in the information age we have all the necessary tools to do and be what we want, and leave our legacy as a kind of digital memory for millions and millions of people.
