For me, Women’s Empowerment means to celebrate and acknowledge women of their own abilities, rights and to make their own choices and decisions freely. It gives the women a chance to become stronger and more confident in their own way.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.

I started joining pageants when I was 7 years old and got interested because I wanted to show my talents to everyone and make more friends at the same time. I joined my first pageant competition Little Miss UFEA Red Deer 2023 and won the title of first runner-up. In the same year, I decided to join the Little Miss and Mister Edmonton Filipinas Pageant hosted by Harlijk Productions, where I won the grand title of Little Miss Edmonton Filipinas 2023.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

I got inspired to join my first pageant because it is one of my dreams to join one. I dream of being a beauty queen or a fashion model someday. I know that I have the confidence and pride to present myself to the crowd.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

After my first pageant, I decided to join my next pageant because I had a good experience doing the first one. I know that I will be meeting new people and kids who will eventually be my friends. I did not really think of winning the title when I joined as I just like to have fun and enjoy the experience that I will have in the competition.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Pageant competition requires a lot of learning and preparation. Before the actual day of the pageant, the candidates undergo trainings and practices on how to walk properly on stage, prepare for the talent portion and learn how to present ourselves in front of the crowd.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes your director different from others?

I have met a lot of people who gave their time and effort to help her in her journey. I am very grateful because I learned a lot from all the guidance that was given to me by my directors and mentors. Special thanks to Mr. Maharlika Mirasol of Harlijk Productions and Ms. Malou Esparagoza of Multicutural Productions.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?

During the competition, judges will follow a criteria for judging. They will based on our confidence, stage presence, posture and personalities. We are also judged on how we showcase our talents and ability to answer the questions being asked to us.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

Overall, it was great! I love how I was able to wear make-up and fancy clothes for the show. I also had fun doing some guesting at different events, meeting people and making new friends. I always make sure to be kind to others and grateful for all the good things in my life. With God’s guidance, I know that I can do anything!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

To be honest, I did not really think of winning the title but when they called my name as a winner, I was shocked and did not believe it at first. The moment was so amazing!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

Being a beauty queen is not all about the looks or the crown or sashes. It is about being confident, kind, and humble at the same time. A beauty queen should always be ready to face any challenges in life with grace and joy.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

Competing in pageants opened a lot of opportunities for me. It gave me a chance to meet a lot of people, make new friends and go to different places or events. It taught me that is not about winning or losing, it is about how you will enjoy every step of the way and to never stop dreaming to reach all your goals in life.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?

Joining pageants helped boost my confidence and self-esteem. I am not afraid to stand in front of a large crowd and present myself. Even without the glamorous make-up and fancy dresses, I know that I am beautiful and unique in my own way. Because of that, I know I am capable of achieving amazing things over and over again.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I feel so honored that I get to inspire people even at my young age. I know that I still have a lot to learn as I grow older, but I feel so blessed because there are a lot people who believe in me, especially my family, and I promise that I will always do my best in everything that I will do.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

To be honest, I don’t really have any strategies to win the judges over. I just make sure that I am being myself at all times, and show my pretty smile to everyone.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?

Aside from all the trainings that was provided to us, I made sure to practice my walk and posture daily before the day of the pageant. I also practiced singing the song I picked for the Talent Portion and tried all the clothes and dresses that I will wear as well as answering simple questions for the Q&A portion.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Your walk is one of the most important components that will help you win in a pageant. Make sure to have a good posture, make eye contact, be confident and SMILE! Watch some videos about pageant walks to get some tips and tricks and practice daily with your heels on until you get used to your walking routine. Practice makes perfect!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

I can say that choosing the right pageant dress will help on how you present yourself in front of the crowd. It does not really matter if you wear a simple or an extravagant dress. It should always give you comfort, confidence and most importantly, you should feel beautiful when wearing it. That’s what matters most.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?

For me, my biggest tips for winning an interview are being honest and always stay true to yourself. Always remember to have fun and don’t be scared to talk!

I consider myself a beginner in the pageant industry and I know that I have made a lot of mistakes during the competition. I believe that I will learn from these mistakes and will eventually help me to grow to be a better person.

All the girls I was competing with were all very beautiful and amazing. They all did their best and we were all there to have fun.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?

Being a model is also one of my dreams aside from being a beauty queen. I recently auditioned and earned a place of becoming an official model in the Calgary Kids and Teens Fashion Week 2024. I am very excited about it because I get to be in a fashion show and wear different and interesting clothes. It is a dream come true!
