I am 30 years old Wife and mother to 4 year old twins Dalton & Annabella, Photographer and HMUA, as services to the community I help care for elderly people.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you? Women empowerment mean that each and every women to be inspirational and uplifting to one another, every women should be there as a leaning shoulder for the next, and help the ones in need.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. I started competing 3 years ago after I placed my twins in some local pageants, after competing local I decided I wanted to branch out to bigger systems where I’ve competed, local, state & national levels, where I also turn into coaching to help other achieve their goals of wearing the crown.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? My children. Watching them compete made me realize that I always had a dream of competing and I set forth my goal and started competing
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I have competed for the same system in 2018 and just really love how well it was organized and how well the director worked for her title holders and I felt like that this was the system for me, the system makes it more like family, everyone is involved, encouraging and uplifting to each other.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The worlds miss tourism system is about becoming a hometown celebrity, the system promotes getting the title holders out in the community giving back to the community also being able to see the world not just helping out within their community but all over, we strive to do challenges by posting them on our blog sites, social media sites and just becoming one big family
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? The main competition events that are judged are-interview, photogenic, evening gown, and state costume
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. The first time at nationals for Worlds Miss Tourism, it was amazing, not only a learning experience but I gained so much confidence with in myself and realized that I had gotten myself further than I ever thought I could. The entire competition was super fun, non stressful, and I gained many new friends and supporters to have for a life time. I was blessed to be 2nd runner up and state costume winner, and looking forward to this years national championship.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. As an advocate for domestic violence, Mrs Lockhart works towards her platform of stand up, no more! Where she has helped local shelters throughout southwest Virginia and East Tennessee, with supplies and needs to help protect domestic violence victims, where she has told her story to many of also being a victim and overcoming the odds and becoming whom she is today, Mrs. Lockhart can be seen traveling from New York all the way to Florida making herself known with appearances and inspiring others.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? Oh my! So many to count. New York City, Washington D.C., all the way down to Florida.local hometown community events. I’ve become very familiar with the Eastern coast, photo shoots, public speaking, helping out in shelters.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? Becoming a role model to many young children and women, earning two different state titles back to back, being able to show my worth.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? To Be myself and have fun, I want the judges to know the real me, during interview is the best time to be myself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I wouldn’t say that I stand out from any other beautiful girls, but I do strive to be the best inspirational person out there
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. Just like many times before I was completely shocked and couldn’t believe it. I just thank God each and every time
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? To be a beauty queen, it’s not just about the title, it’s what you do with it. I want to be able to make a difference
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? Competing in pageants helped me over come so many obstacles that I faced during a low time in my life, help me know my worth and help me give back to others
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image? Pageantry has help my self esteem and body image a great deal, from being very low self esteem and slightly over weight, pageants help bring me out of a hole and taught me to love myself and help me get my best body back
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? To be an inspiration to other girls is amazing! Every time I get a comment or a message from another girl about how much they look up to me, it brings a since of amazing warmth and love into me
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? Practice, practice, practice. Remember the stage is your time to shine, take your time and let the judges get a very good look at you and your evening gown
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Notice your division, example: Mrs, don’t wear something that’s appropriate for Teen or early miss division. But you want to wear something that makes you feel beautiful, don’t just pick something cause the price looked right.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? Be yourself, finish with full sentences, don’t use words like uh, umm, watch for any type of stuttering
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition? I picked couple days of the week and took each day to practice just interview or just beauty walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? Runway walk, if your system has a runway portion, also remember your not running away from a fire, but it’s not as slow as your evening wear either
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? A lot of mistakes I see is during evening wear and runway, either too fast, or dress issues(such as dress too big, too small, or not best choice for division)
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? Yes I have modeling experience from couple of runway shows and photo shoots
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen? My plans is to earn the national title, and continue to work towards my platform and see what other states I can visit
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? Wow that girl knew what she wanted and she didn’t let anyone stop her!
