World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
My name is Sophia. I was born in India and came to Australia in 2000. I am a kinder teacher, philosopher, motivational and love fashion and modelling. Since my childhood I have participated in various social and community activities for e.g. singing, stage dramas and received various trophies and awards. My aim is to support girl child as still there are lots of places in the world where people think girls are burden. Still there are women in the world who are not appreciated, face domestic violence and lots of other problems. I believe in that if there will be no girl child born there will be no life and this planet will be finished.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Women empowerment means to me is always believe in yourself. Women should have a choice to make decisions for her and the type of life she wants to live. I am a woman and I believe in empowering women to give them independence to make a difference in their lives. Every woman should feel complete in herself to lead a happy and prosper life.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I did my first pageant in February 2018 in Sydney, second one in July 2018 USA and third in Miami USA. It has been a great experience and to meet inspirational Women around the Globe.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I always wanted to participate in pageant. I am so glad and thankful that God gave me the opportunity. I believe that it’s a great platform to share your voice with the world and build your confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I got selected as Mrs Australia from Ms World International to represent Australia in USA. As I like meeting like minded peoples it was honour and great opportunity for me to represent Australia and share my passion and views with the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Every pageant works differently first pageant I have done was how you make a difference in the community and I did lots of charity work. I organised events to raise money for the global women’s project charity. It is about how you can be positive role model to the world and serve the nation. Second pageant was inspiration, integrity and beauty. Third pageant the goal was to inspire women from around the Globe, continent and culture to come together to share their passions and promote their platforms on an international stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
We are being judged on Interview skills, on stage question social skills, charity work, role model, sportswear, gown round and beauty.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
It has been a great experience in all my pageants. It builds confidence. Although it is very challenging and we do lots of charity work, appearances but rewards are great. We get to do lots experiences and activities for e.g. limo rides, Jet Ski, beach ball, hiking boat cruise, red carpet experience, photo shoots and chance to meet beautiful inspirational people.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
My platform is self-empowerment and women empowerment. I have organised charity events to raise the money for the Westmead hospital in Sydney and The Global women’s project charity. I have organised and judged fashion shows. I have done motivational speeches to empower women and I was an ambassador of the Global women’s project charity. I have got interview with online bohemian magazine, Global charity article and my real life article “Strong person sheds the tears and fights again” on my Facebook page.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
I have done lots of public appearances. I have been invited to community functions as a guest. I have been done Mc on to women empowerment event as a guest speaker.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Confidence is the biggest key to win.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I think Self-belief and not comparing myself with others. We all have our own qualities, strengths and weaknesses. We should learn from it and stay strong.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was very happy to make my parents and family proud. It’s like dream come true. I feel lucky and blessed to fulfill my dream.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means lots of responsibilities. I think God has chosen me to serve the nation. It is hard job but I will do my best. As a role model it’s a big responsibility to give good message, guidance and support to the coming generations. So they can live happy and content life.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It has totally changed my life. I used to be a very quiet and introverted person. Now I got more confidence. All I would say, it has brought the best out of me and I am honoured to be inspiration to all the women.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image?
It helped me to believe in myself. With circumstances and situations we lose our identity and self-esteem as I never thought that I was beautiful or smart. So definitely I got my confidence back.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It feels great. This girl who never felt good about herself as I said because of the situations and circumstances, now is an inspiration to all the girls out there, who at some stage not feel worthy. I meet lots of people all the time even my friends who have known me from long time says, that you are a great inspiration.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
I would say it comes from inside. I always loved watching pageants and fashion shows. As a child I used to copy them and walk in front of the mirror. Also you can take a professional coaching to improve yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
I think there is no right and wrong. You should feel confident whatever you wear.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Speak from your heart and soul and be confident.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I did modelling and makeup course to just polish myself and learn new tips and ideas.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
Being too much emotional during my first pageant but I am a positive person. So no regrets everything happens for the reason.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
I think trying too hard to be so perfect. Try your best and be yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modelling or acting experience?
Yes, I have done ramp walks at the fashion shows. I have done bit of acting in one of the TV series. I love new experiences and challenges so, I would love to have career in modelling and acting.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
I would continue to motivate with my motivational quotes, speeches and charity work. I love travelling so may be more travel around the world. My plans are to encourage and empower girl’s around the globe to fulfill their dreams.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want to leave a legacy that women should not feel that they are weak or less than
