I am Shwetha Niranjan Hale from the beautiful land of strong culture,deep emotions and extreme diversity yet we all stand together as one big spiritual country - India born in the state of Karnataka, a Global Procurement Manager by Profession in an MNC and an MBA by education. I come from a humble background and blessed with an amazing family. Morality is the foundation of my principles in life and my family is my highest priority. I have pushed myself through several obstacles in life and I can confidently say that I am proud of who I am. For the love of dance, I am expert in Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Salsa, freestyle and contemporary forms of dance. I define my own fashion and I style to impress myself. I love food so I have to excercise to stay fit and not expand my waistline.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
The women empowerment is the key to strengthen their participation in the decision-making which is the most important key to socio-economic development. There is a social, cultural and family pressure on women which acts as the main issue to the gender equality. The women have a lot of pressure from parents, society and they forced to be main caregiver and caretaker of all family members. Such pressure in the society and home lowers down the career ambitions of women than men.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I was always walking on ramps since childhood, one fine day I got a call to take part in a State level beauty pageant Mrs Karnataka 2018. My journey began by winning Mrs Karnataka Beautiful eyes as first level of beauty pageant and I moved ahead by representing my state at National pageant Mrs India IMP in 2018 where in the winners of all the states contested here. As a second level I won Mrs India Worldwide Title 2018 and moved to a third level of International contest which is Mrs Worldwide 2018 which is the great honour to represent my country at this prestigious event.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Pageantry gives you a window of opportunities, this world ties in with the entertainment world! So, it opens doors to modeling, acting, performing, and much more! Even if you want to speak out about things you are passionate about for philanthropy points of views as well! I have been blessed; since doing pageantry I have been in movies, on TV, modeled, hosted, did radio, sang in concert, and much more! And, I wanted to do all of these since childhood. So these inspired the fire in me to attend this pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
The number one of a million reasons to enter a beauty pageant is to build self-confidence. Take me, for example... You would never catch me talking in front of large crowds, or being social at all... until I entered me in my first pageant among so many beautiful ladies. I was in awe of how much self-confidence I had gained through this Title.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
You will have to be your Country winner to take part in this pageant to represent your country which is the biggest honour when you are not called by your name but by your country name here. It’s a beautiful atmosphere, competitive environment, also filled with fun, laughter, entertainment. We learn and exchange culture, knowledge with each other countries. From the day one to day 7, the events, shoots are power packed with thrill and joy. Best in class stay, food and activities. Our sports activity in a swimming pool was the best activity which made us so sportive , energetic and excitement, holding up each other with joy, fun and a spirit to win the game.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
National costume, Talent round, swim suit, Golden Gown, Cocktail dress round, main evening gown, catwalk, confidence, discipline, punctuality, prejudging, Intelligence, beauty and fitness.

It’s a beautiful atmosphere, competitive environment, also filled with fun, laughter, entertainment. We learn and exchange culture, knowledge with each other countries. Our sports activity in a swimming pool was the best activity which made us so sportive, energetic and excitement, holding up each other with joy, fun and a spirit to win the game.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I am a Global Procurement Manager by Profession, my vision is to use our country's strength and expertise in information technology to create a global forum for women all around the world to share ideas, opportunities, knowledge and anything positive to inspire each other. I want to use the success of this platform to reach out to women inside and outside of our country to promote this forum to handhold each other and create a environment where we dismiss negativity, suppress discouragement, create hope and new dreams for women.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
Giving different kind of appearances is part of pageant competition. I Made myself available for media interviews. Attend a theme night at a sporting event. Model for sponsors.
Have been honoured as Esteemed Jury for many national pageants, as a brand ambassador for NGO’s, been as Chief guest for many Pageants , TV shows and corporate events . I Will be also soon going as a chief guest in Dec 2019 for one of the Guinness record show organised for a Social cause.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
As a social activist, I have been involved in teaching dance to children that are differently-able with the intention to bring some joy into their life. I am Brand Ambazador of Reach4Cause which is connects 4500 NGO’s around the Globe supporting and helping for the uplifting the society for Good. I also supported an NGO, Shaktirupini that works on raising awareness among women against Harassment of Women and Children. I am a speaker in one of the Corporate Contest organised for working women and my speech was on to help women who have been abused and harassed, to motivate and inspire them for a better life.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
Confidence, Self-love, Being Humble & Polite, Down to earth and social, Grateful and positive-mind, my presence, Patience and Easy going attitude. These are the qualities I believe I stand out from others at the pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
It feels accomplished, self satisfied, hard work paid off, feel at top, more responsibilities, new bigger vision formed to accomplish.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
I believe "Strength is the new beauty". I would like to be physically strong to feel truly beautiful. To me it is not the shape or size that matters but the strength can build to defend yourself or your loved ones.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It builds more confidence, courage, a feel of one in a billion women, stronger goals, builds an image and a path to help society.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
It increases the image big way, it gives a power to speak and address public for the good, stand out of the crowd and voice out for anything be it injustice or advice or a speech for good cause.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
Being an inspiration is being the force or influence that inspire someone to do something or to feel in certain way. Now i feel like I'm a reason for a positive change In life of women around the society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Beauty pageants are all about displaying the best aspects of yourself. You want the judges to see how great you look, interview, and perform your talent. You’re already beautiful and capable, but winning a beauty pageant takes practice. I made my strategy as if my skills and talents be well expressed on stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
Very hard, I did 3 workouts a day to bring down my weight managing work and family. Since I am single parent my responsibility is double and I made myself mentally strong . I went on very strict diet for 8 months, I contacted more than 25 designers, choreographers, prop designers, Photographers, and shortlisted one based on certain criteria’s so that I get best in class and want to give the best. I learnt 10 dance numbers by 2 different choreographers in 2 different classes with different venues every weekend with 3 best songs from among them for the Talent round. 3 days complete video shoot for introduction video with top Team and Cinematographer of India. There is a hard core deep dive research and preparation for every tiny part of the requirement for the Pageant. More than anything, it’s the hard work, dedication, commitment towards achieving the goal.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Nothing is more important to your overall pageant score than perfecting your pageant walk and mastering your pageant pose. It's necessity to learn better to walk comfortably and confidently in Evening gown and body swim suit.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Know what your body type is. Choose a line that would hide what you perceive as your figure flaws. Research on the colour that would flatter you. Look for the fabric that would complement you.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Dress appropriately. Add a distinguishing accessory to your look, such as a fedora or a large, memorable ring. Wear light makeup. Answer in complete sentences. Be calm, collected and confident.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
Unfortunately, it’s not always qualified advice and it’s our job to use our critical thinking skills to evaluate the suggestions we receive. So there is always a learning at every stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Every contestant are talented and unique in their own way and I have a great respect to all the beautiful ladies.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
So far though interested, I was more occupied with family and since my job was into corporate could not focus on acting but yes I have been a Model for big brands like SAMAYAK , Amarapalli Jewelleries .But now it's high time for myself to explore my passion towards modelling and acting as well. But I expect something challenging to my skills than just being a glam doll kind.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?
My vision is to use our country's strength and expertise in information technology to create a global forum for women all around the world to share ideas, opportunities, knowledge and anything positive to inspire each other. I want to use the success of this platform to reach out to women inside and outside of our country to promote this forum to handhold each other and create a environment where we dismiss negativity, suppress discouragement, create hope and new dreams for women as our Title Mrs Worldwide will perfectly be blending with my Vision
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
The idea of leaving a legacy is the need or the desire to be remembered for what you have contributed to the world. In my case my contribution ll be so special that the universe is unalterably changed. However, for most mere mortals walking this earth, most will leave a more modest legacy that doesn't necessarily change the world but does leave a lasting footprint that will be remembered by those whose lives me touched.
