World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself. I belong to Goa, a beautiful state in India and I'm a lecturer and an entrepreneur by profession. My highest qualification is MBA in human resource management and I am currently pursuing Law. Above all, I am a mother and that’s what makes me complete, World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you? Women empowerment according to me is not being considered equal to men but to be treated equally. I basically mean to say that we should be given the right to take important decisions. We need to be trusted and given freedom to express thyself. This is what I consider empowering women to be. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. In 1995, I was crowned Miss Cavelossim that’s where I started to believe in myself and decided never to stop. In 2019, I had been crowned 1st Runner Up in a pageant before also, and in the present year 2020 I have been crowned Classic Mrs India International Queen 2020 1st Runner Up. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? My inspiration to go out of my comfort zone and explore the best things. Since I was kid, I always liked exploring new things like places... and here I was at it exploring amazingly beautiful places around the globe... Whatever I am capable of doing is because of my beautiful family, my ever inspiring daughter, and my always pushing and never stopping husband. They have always supported me in every step I've taken they are always there and for all this I am thankful to God for all that he has given me and done for me and most, importantly for always being there when I needed him (God) the most.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I choose to compete for my current title because I felt the need to move out of my comfort zone. My daughter said to me go ahead and prove your worth, show everyone what a woman can do. She quoted "you only live once, do what makes you happy." Thus, I choose to compete. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? To those unfamiliar with this pageant system its very fair, everyone gets a equal chance to prove thyself. It basically allows you explore the wildest and most capable side of you. So, I would suggest to every women to part take in this pageant. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? During the pageant, you were mainly judged upon your kindness, how polite you are. Kindness and goodness are the main aspects to be judged on, not to forget your efforts in presenting yourself, emotional quotient is not to be forgotten. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. It was a very pleasant experience. According to me we were all judged fairly, there was no biased judgement, all of us were given fair chance to prove ourselves, I was very comfortable among the contestants and the organizing team, I didn’t feel out of place and I learnt a lot of things. So, it was a very good learning experience which I will cherish for life time. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I volunteered for helping people with free legal aid. As the services of lawyers are exorbitant and people cannot afford to take legal aid, I would like to help support such people, which I am currently doing on a small scale.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
I had been given the opportunity for a special appearance at "Runway inspiration by Anusha" which was a fashion show where a young talented designer 'Anusha Shaik' showcased her new designs highlighting the blind children. World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
My greatest achievements is my daughter, and a happy family, whose smiles, prayers and blessings keep me going. World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls ?
Every girl is beautiful. I just got lucky, all I will say is that I am grateful for having been given this opportunity. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
The moment my name was called out as winner, I was filled with joy. I broke out with a bigger smile on my face and cried tears of joy. I thought how happy my family would be for me and for this achievement, and also how could I justify the title by doing good for people.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means a lot to be a beauty queen. It took a lot of patience, practice, effort, kindness and of course a little bit of a big smile. World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? To be a beauty queen means a lot of courage, fearlessness, need of love and compassion towards people and of course humility. It helps you to have a greater self-esteem, makes you more confident and you feel good about yourself, you kind of stop being insecure about yourself, and live yourself more...
As being a lady is never easy...expectations from the society, it helps you face it all...
It truly does make you a better self of one's own self.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self -esteem and body image?
As mentioned above it indeed helps u cope up with all the expectations the society has with us as women...
It gets very hard sometimes but platforms like these truly help you be more confident and to maintain a smile on our faces... World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
Being an inspiration feels really good, its like you know that you are going on the right path, giving people especially girls good advice and encouraging them to go ahead in life, and achieve their goals. World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Winning over the judges... Well I'd say don't do to impress, do as though you are yourself.' Don't be over confident, be kind and of course you need to believe in yourselves. World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
Preparation was not very easy and not very hard. The key tips are first if be comfortable, feel yourself, wear shoes your very comfortable in and most importantly enjoy and believe in yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
The most important thing u need to have is a good amount of confidence it really makes you more comfortable on stage knowing there are a million eyes upon you... as many feel uncomfortable....
Next would be a good poise, it really makes a good impression.
Last but not the least is a good comfortable pair of shoes...
And that's it... it was all I needed

The tips for a best dress are wear something your confident in, be comfortable and enjoy. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Key tips for a winning interview are be polite, be kind, show love and obviously smile, be happy and make everyone around you happy. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
One mistake I'd like to fix would be trusting others before myself, I'd like to fix it to trust myself more the others.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
I feel a mistake made by a woman was expressing overconfidence. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? Well, I have no experience in the field of modeling or acting. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?
Plans for 2020 as a Queen is "not to do great things but to do small things with great love..." World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want to leave a legacy of love, peace, kindness, generosity and again doing small things with great love and affection.
