I am a person who likes a healthy lifestyle, a vegetarian, always moving forward in life and my wish will inspire many LGBT people, especially transgender people, to live as themselves.
World-class beauty queen: Please tell us about your education.
Currently, I graduated from Asian American Beauty College, majoring in skin care in California. World-class beauty queens: What does female empowerment mean to you?
In my opinion, regardless of gender, everyone deserves their rights. Especially women's rights that mean a lot to me, feminism is equal rights for women. Because today there is no longer a distinction between men and women, men and women have equal roles in all areas of life and society.
World-class beauty queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
Miss Transgender Vietnam (English: Miss International Queen Vietnam) is a beauty contest in Vietnam for transgender women (transgender from male to female). The contest is organized in the form of a reality show, in 2018 is the Perfect Conquest (English: The Tiffany Vietnam), in 2020 is the Perfect Ambassador (English: Miss International Queen Vietnam). The top 3 of each season have the opportunity to participate in Miss International Transgender - an international beauty contest for transgender people in Thailand. And I am currently the New Ambassador of Hoan My 2020 from California, USA.
World-class beauty queen: What inspired you to do your first beauty pageant?
What inspired me to enter the contest is my desire to live as myself, love myself and spread positive energy to the LGBT community.
World-class beauty queen: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I want to be able to bring my images and stories to inspire the LGBT community, especially transgender people in Vietnam. So that I can help other transgender people like me to be more confident about their gender and themselves.
World Class Beauty Queen: For those unfamiliar with your contest system, please tell us what it is?
This contest is gender equality for transgender people from male to female and the winner will have the opportunity to participate in Miss International Queen in Thailand and compete with all international transgender people, the contest has 4 section is talent, national costume, swimsuit and evening gown.
World-class beauty queen: What were you judged on in the contest?
In the contest, there are many parts such as Talent, behavior, community project, attitude. I think I'm the one who can reconcile those things besides that I'm always positive and trying in all these exams.
World-class beauty queen: Tell us about your experience during the contest.
My experience was very memorable, got to know many new friends, learned knowledge, performance skills of the competition and I learned confidence to love myself from within.
World-class beauty queen: Tell us about your foundation or what you volunteer for.
Since I am also a person who has come from difficulties, I understand that sharing love with the community is essential. After I was crowned I gave 50% of my prize money to help older transgender people and underprivileged children.
World-class beauty queen: What have you done with your title?
I still practice every day to come to the international competition. Besides, after winning the title, many designers invited me to perform, take pictures, there are many shows that have been invited, but now because of the epidemic, the shows have been canceled and limited. Regime.
World-class beauty queen: What are some of your achievements? I have been a model since my 20s. But then I decided to choose a study path, so I put it aside and went to the US to study. I have lived in the dark for a very long time, now I have come into the light to love myself more, to live as myself I am so happy for that.
World-class beauty queen: What makes you stand out from all the other pretty girls?
All contestants are beautiful and have their own strengths, I am most confident when I am myself and I can spread positive energy to everyone.
World-class beauty queen: Tell us about the moment your name was announced as a winner.
I am really happy. My emotions are broken, I have reached my dream and my efforts have been recognized by everyone.
World-class beauty queen: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
It is extremely meaningful to me because I have fulfilled my dream, stepped out into the light to live as myself, be energized and help the LGBT community so that you in the community will be more and more successful. in life.
World-class beauty queen: How has competing in competitions helped your life?
The contest helped me learn self-discipline, Perseverance, how to communicate with people, skills in the profession and know that no matter what happens, always rise up and never give up.
World-class beauty queen: How have contests helped yourself and your image?
After the contest, I received a lot of attention from people in the world, the love of the fans, and my image was spread with the community in the most positive way.
World Class Beauty Queen: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I am very happy and happy to have inspired all of you in the community, especially the LGBT community, for a long time I have not dared to step out into the light. I hope the next competitions will have many friends. Step into the light and be like me.
World-class beauty queen: What's your stage strategy to win the judges?
I think you should be yourself confidently and show your best that the judges will feel.
World-class beauty queen: How did you prepare for your pageant?
I focus 100% on the competition, bodybuilding, catwalk, interview and always smiling.
World-class beauty queen: What's your tip to learn to walk better?
Smiley face and charisma are very important to become a beauty queen. Besides, you also have to have a heart that knows how to love people and spread that too.
World-class beauty queens: What's your advice for choosing the right pageant dress?
In my opinion, the right outfit because the beauty contest must meet the criteria of the contest such as sexy, elegant and most importantly, the outfit that you wear most confidently.
World-class beauty queen: What's your secret to winning the interview?
Believe in yourself, Be gentle and be yourself.
World-class beauty queen: What was a mistake you made during the competition that you would like to redo and fix?
I think it's composure on stage, I didn't lose my temper and didn't do well in the exam so it's important to practice composure.
World-class beauty queen: What other mistakes did the girls make in the competition?
During the competition I was very focused on my part. So I don't know if the rest of you have made a mistake. But I know for sure one thing all contestants and I must learn everything to become the best version of ourselves.
World-class beauty queen: Any modeling or acting experience?
I used to be a model 10 years ago and I just came back in 2020
World-class beauty queen: What are your plans for 2021 as Queen?
I have projects to help the LGBT community, but at the moment, due to the epidemic in Vietnam, I have not been able to do it, I hope everything will be fine for me to complete my project to help the community.
World-class beauty queen: What legacy do you want to leave behind?
My wish is for children and adults who plan to live true to themselves. Always follow your dreams, no matter how difficult it is, will always try to fulfill them. be the way to be yourself to live happily and contribute to society.
