I am a deeply family-oriented person, and my core passion is helping others. Outside of pageants, I am driven by my academic journey and building a future where I can make a meaningful difference.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?
I am currently a second-year student at the University of Illinois Chicago, double-majoring in Criminal, Law & Justice and Sociology with a minor in Philosophy, all in pursuit of my goal to become a lawyer. A significant highlight was graduating high school a full year early, which allowed me to embark on my college journey sooner.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?
Women’s empowerment is a deeply important topic to me because it’s about giving every woman the confidence, resources, and voice she needs to shape her own future. It means creating a world where women can pursue their dreams without limits, and uplift one another.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
I was drawn to pageants because of their unique ability to build self-confidence and teach you more about yourself. The platform also encourages you to become more outgoing and connect with your community in meaningful ways.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?
The Queen of the Polish 3 May Parade was my first pageant. What motivated me was understanding how pageants help women build confidence and public speaking skills, which are invaluable for my future. I saw it as a chance to grow while honoring my heritage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?
I chose this pageant specifically because it allowed me to proudly represent and share my Polish culture with a wider audience. It stood out as a beautiful celebration of heritage, community, and tradition.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?
The Queen of the May 3 Constitution Day Parade pageant is a celebration of Polish heritage, held annually in Chicago. It culminates in selecting a Queen to represent the community during the parade, which commemorates the signing of Poland's historic constitution. The competition includes a gala with traditional dance polonez, introduction, talent presentations, and a question we answer, all focused on celebrating our culture.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?
My pageant director, Mrs. Ewa Ruminski, genuinely cares for each candidate and always strives for our personal best. Her dedication to preserving our culture while empowering young women creates a uniquely supportive and enriching environment.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?
Judges evaluate our ability to speak Polish, our introduction, talent presentation, overall poise, past accomplishments, and our response to an on-stage question drawn at random.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?
My pageant experience was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to meet so many inspiring people. It taught me a great deal about myself and improved my ability to speak confidently in front of large crowds.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?
Yes, I would highly recommend it. This pageant is a wonderful way to deeply connect with your heritage, share it with pride, and build tremendous self-confidence. It’s about much more than a title; it’s about personal growth within a supportive community.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?
I am a volunteer for Dom Samotnej Matki (Single Mother’s House) which helps mothers get back on their feet, the You Can be My Angel Foundation, and Amicus Poloniae, a free legal clinic. I also volunteer for a Christmas dinner event for lonely and homeless people. I am very passionate about helping people in need, both here in the US and in Poland.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?
Holding this title has given me the honor of attending numerous Polish cultural events, banquets, organizational meetings, and Polish schools. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to travel to Poland.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?
A significant achievement was graduating high school a year early to begin my college education. I’ve also been fortunate to receive various awards from academic and extracurricular competitions.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?
I believe my authentic personality and the way I connect with others help me stand out. My genuine passion for the causes I support also shines through in everything I do.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
I was completely shocked but also overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude. It was a surreal and humbling moment to have my efforts and connection to my culture recognized in such a meaningful way.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
To me, a Beauty Queen represents inner confidence, kindness, and the strength to be a positive role model. True beauty is about character and the impact you have on others.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
Pageants have taught me to be more open, outgoing, and confident in my own skin. They’ve provided a platform for growth I never knew I needed.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
Through this experience, I’ve learned that everyone is beautiful in their own unique way. It has reinforced the importance of self-love and embracing our individuality.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
Thank you. It’s a profound responsibility and honor. My message is to always be yourself, cherish your identity, and never be ashamed of your roots. We inspire others not by being perfect, but through authentic kindness and actions that come from the heart.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
My strategy is simple: to be genuinely confident and authentically myself. When you are comfortable in your own skin, that authenticity resonates with an audience.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
My strategy is simple: to be truly myself and fully authentic. When you feel comfortable in your own skin, that authenticity naturally resonates, with both the judges and the audience. On stage, I showed with all my heart how important being Polish is to me. My identity, values, heritage, and faith are my strengths. I believe that genuine emotions, sincerity, and pride in who we are are the most captivating qualities.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
While my pageant didn't feature a traditional walk, my advice is always to move with confidence. Your posture and presence communicate self-assurance before you even speak.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
When it comes to choosing a dress I would tell girls to pick a dress that makes you stand out and, more importantly, makes you feel powerful and beautiful. When you feel your best, you will look your best.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
Although in the May 3 Parade Queen pageant we don’t have an exact interview section we do answer one question and I would say to answer with confidence and clarity.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
Looking back, I believe I did the very best I could in each moment and I wouldn’t redo anything.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?
A common pitfall is when contestants become overly egoistic or inauthentic. Staying true to yourself is far more impactful than projecting a manufactured image.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
I don't have professional experience, though I was once invited to participate in a fashion show. My focus remains on my education and advocacy work.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
Although my official year is concluding, I plan to remain deeply active in the Polish community. I will continue my advocacy and volunteer work, using the platform I’ve been given to keep making a positive impact.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?
I hope to leave a legacy that inspires young girls to cultivate deep confidence within themselves. I want to be remembered for my dedication to helping others and for empowering women to write their own stories.
