World Class Beauty Queens Magazine pageant interview with an incredible Isabella Manuela Wagner Mrs Austria Curve'
Full name: Isabella Manuela Wagner
Title/year: Mrs Austria Curve'
Election system: Mrs Globe
Age: 34
Level of education: University
Star sign: Leo
Hobbies: Travelling, Pilates, spending time with friends
Platform: Mrs Globe
Years of participation: 2025
Countries visited: I have travelled extensively, but my heart belongs to Hawaii
Likes and dislikes: I appreciate honest individuals who are energetic and creative; I dislike any form of manipulation and division
Current status: Happily married
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?
One of my greatest passions is travelling, because it allows me to constantly discover new cultures and meet exciting people. I really enjoy working with people, which is why I am currently setting up my own business in event management and Pilates. Overall, I would describe myself as an open-minded and curious person who likes to try new things and is constantly developing.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?
I have completed several training programmes, beginning with a school focused on economics and cultural tourism, followed by a dual training programme at Vienna’s largest energy company. These experiences allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and skills; however, it is my work as a model that truly fulfils and inspires me the most.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?
Women's empowerment plays a central role in my life. Among other things, I work as a curvy model a profession that fulfils and challenges me in equal measure. Social media in particular often conveys a certain ideal of beauty to young people and suggests how a body should look. However, this view is often unrealistic and can be unhealthy, because every body is different and unique. I think it's important to set an example for women and show them that beauty exists regardless of size, hair colour or age. We are human beings, not machines that's why we should treat our bodies like temples inhabited by goddesses. And we only have this temple once.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
What woman hasn’t dreamed of being a queen at some point? I love standing on stage and showing women that yes — they can do it too. Taking part in a beauty contest has also been a childhood dream of mine, and it represents confidence, courage, and the celebration of individuality.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?
The decisive moment was marked by two thoughts: on the one hand, I was fulfilling a long cherished dream, and on the other, I knew deep down that it was now or never.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?
What makes it special for me is the fact that I am the first woman in Austria to hold the title of Mrs. Austria Curve. On the one hand, it is a great honour for me to represent my beautiful country, and on the other hand, I want to motivate other women to courageously follow their own path and become part of this journey themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?
It's about giving all women a platform.
Dr Tracy Kemble is a fascinating and exceptionally strong woman. She launched this competition 30 years ago and has created something truly wonderful.
She is an absolute role model, because this is not a classic beauty contest, but something much deeper and more meaningful. With great commitment, she stands up for women who have experienced abuse, gives them a voice, strengthens their self-confidence and shows them their own power.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?
My National Director is Hannelie van Wyk. She is an incredible woman who has supported me from the very beginning and is always there to answer any questions I may have. What makes her special is her motivational nature and her tireless commitment to women and empowering female strength. She believes in the potential of every single woman and encourages us to surpass ourselves.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?
Of course, it's not just about outer beauty, but above all inner beauty. It's a sisterhood in which we support, strengthen and encourage each other. This network of so many wonderful and outstanding women opens up a whole new world for me.
I love being part of it.
Of course, you are ambitious and always give your best, but at the same time it fills me with great pride and genuine joy to be able to congratulate my sisters on their success.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?
It was a great honour for me to receive the crown and sash and to represent Austria. The big competition is still ahead of us, and I am already preparing intensively for June. There is a lot to plan and organise, including my national costume, which is being designed with great care and passion.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?
I would wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. Globe to every woman. I have never before experienced such warmth, solidarity and mutual support among women. It is a real treasure and a great gift to be part of this community.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?
I am deeply committed to women's issues and women's empowerment. I firmly believe that wonderful things happen when women come together and empower each other.
There are many issues I am committed to, but animal welfare is particularly close to my heart. I have taken in five dogs from animal shelters myself, and they would no longer be alive today if I had not given them a home. They are an important part of my story and have had a lasting impact on my life.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?
I have already had the opportunity to present my title at a major event in Salzburg, and there are several more dates on the agenda for the future. The next major event is a very special one, as I planned it myself: Pilates & Pizza.
By combining sport and cuisine, I create a space where I can engage, inspire and motivate lots of people to feel and experience something together. As I live in a small community, it is very important to me to share my success with the whole village. That's why I'm breaking new ground, trying new things and taking everyone with me on my journey.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry? I work as a curvy model and have had the privilege of walking the runway in both Toronto and New York City—an absolute dream come true for me.
Furthermore, I achieved my first major successes on a German television show—following in the footsteps of *Shopping Queen*—and emerged as the winner.
It fills me with great joy to work as a model, to express my creativity, and to have the opportunity to continually reveal new facets of myself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?
I am a calming influence and am very good with people. I don't find any of this stressful, but rather enriching on the contrary, it gives me energy because I love what I do.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
For me, it was a colourful bouquet of emotions, accompanied by deep gratitude. I can hardly put it into words, but I am about to embark on a journey that is incredibly inspiring and will bring many new experiences.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
For me, this title also means taking on responsibility, as many women look up to you and see you as a role model. I wear the crown with pride and want to support and inspire other women to courageously follow their own path, realise their dreams and listen to their hearts.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
When I was a young girl, I used to dream about it, but I never thought I would become a beauty queen myself. So the surprise was all the greater and, to be honest, so was the overwhelm.
I stood in front of the mirror, pinched myself and wondered whether I was really awake or whether it was all just a dream.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
I have always been very self-confident and therefore feel very comfortable in my role. At the same time, I am aware that this is not something that can be taken for granted. Unfortunately, there are many people who are unhappy with themselves, even though they are so beautiful, both inside and out.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
It feels wonderful, but at the same time I am aware that this role also comes with responsibility. It is by no means a given that I am allowed to take it on. I don't just want to be a role model, I also want to exemplify these values, with attitude, heart and authenticity.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
My strategy is to be completely myself on stage. I don't want to impress the jury with a role, but with authenticity, presence and heart. It is important to me to clearly show my values, to represent my messages with conviction and to radiate calmness, self-confidence and openness.
I firmly believe that genuine charisma comes from loving what you do – and that's exactly the energy I want to convey on stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
I prepare for competitions by focusing on both my inner and outer balance. I stay consistent with my training, take care of my body, and maintain routines that ground me, such as movement, breathwork, and moments of reflection.
Mental preparation is just as important to me I visualize my goals, remind myself of my purpose, and stay connected to why I started this journey. I also make sure to enjoy the process, because when I feel calm, confident, and aligned, my best energy naturally shows on stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
The most important thing is confidence and authenticity. Your walk should reflect who you are, not feel forced or over-styled. Focus on posture – shoulders relaxed, head held high – and move with intention and elegance.
Practice your walk until it feels natural, but also allow emotion to flow through it. Eye contact, a genuine smile, and controlled, graceful movements make a huge difference. Remember: the walk isn’t just about steps, it’s about presence and the energy you bring onto the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
Choosing the right pageant dress is about finding a look that truly represents you. The dress should enhance your personality, not overpower it. Fit is absolutely key – when a dress fits perfectly, it automatically boosts confidence and allows you to move naturally on stage.
I also believe it’s important to choose a color and style that complement your skin tone, body shape, and the overall image you want to project. Comfort matters just as much as elegance, because when you feel comfortable, it shows in your posture and presence. In the end, the best dress is the one that makes you feel powerful, authentic, and confident the moment you step onto the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
Interviews can be challenging, so I stay relaxed. I prepare well, know my topics and know what I stand for – and then I just let the conversation flow. I listen carefully, answer honestly and also take the liberty of being spontaneous.
A smile, humour at the right moment and open body language help enormously. I see the interview more as a pleasant conversation than an examination. If you enjoy it and don't take yourself too seriously, the spark usually ignites all by itself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
Honestly, no every moment in a competition brings valuable experience. Of course, there are little things where you think to yourself: I could have done that a little better. But that's exactly how you learn.
Every experience helps me to grow, become more confident and prepare myself better for future competitions. That's why I wouldn't really ‘do anything differently’; instead, I take everything as part of my journey – including the small lessons learned.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?
Many participants compare themselves too much with others or try to play a role. This takes away their ease and charisma. Those who trust themselves, remain relaxed and show joy are the ones who are remembered most.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
Yes, I do. I work as a curvy model and have had the opportunity to walk the runway internationally, including in Toronto and New York. I’ve also gained experience through television, where I won a German fashion show, which helped me grow in front of the camera. Modeling allows me to express my creativity, and I truly enjoy bringing confidence and personality into every project.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
Over the coming year, my goal as a Queen is to use my platform with purpose. I want to inspire women to believe in themselves, follow their dreams, and support one another. I plan to be present at events, create meaningful projects that bring people together, and use my voice to highlight topics close to my heart, such as women empowerment and animal welfare.
Most importantly, I want to lead by example, grow personally, and make a positive impact wherever this journey takes me.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?
I hope that people will remember me as someone who used her platform with heart and down-to-earthness. As a queen who encouraged women to believe in themselves without having to be perfect.
If my journey has encouraged someone to listen to their heart, follow their own path or simply feel good, then that means everything to me. And if it has left them with a smile, then all the better.
