My name is Olivia Martins, From Delta State Nigeria. i am a Student and an entrepreneur. A girl child advocate. I love Dancing and also i love visiting new and beautiful places. My favorite color is blue and i am a devoted humanitarian. Lastly i am an only daughter with 2 brothers. World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you? Women empowerment is an Act of empowering women in all circles of life, Teaching/Mentoring every woman in one skill or the order. Providing/marking sure that every woman is opportune to own a business of her own either through the government, non governmental or by individual means World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history. I started modeling at a very young age (after my secondary school) after which i contested for my first pageant (Abia Next Top Model) and i won. Ever since then I have reigned as a pageant Queen till date. World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant? The love of Modelling, as a child i have always loved modeling. I watched Fashion Tv series and I always make sure a practice what i see them do on the Tv (lol) the passion didn’t just end there, I made sure I fulfilled my dreams of becoming a model and I am glad I chose that path of life World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? With the current title as Miss Nigeria America Nation, I will have the bigger and better platform to work more in my field as an advocate. Miss America Nation is one organization that I have always wanted to work with and I am glad that I am with the organization today as their Queen. With Miss America Nation organization, I am certain to achieve at least 85 percent of my dreams in modeling. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The pageant system is all about numerous charity works in our society! Through the widows, less privileged, orphanage homes and community projects. The pageant system is not about the Crown/sash is about you dedicating your time and energy to the society through your humanitarian duties. World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? First and foremost is the number of charity works we’ve done in our society, Your availability to attend to your office as a Queen. Your self confidence and charisma. Your smiles and catwalk World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. No much experience though, just happen to meet my fellow crown sisters, Had some interactions with them and they seemed so lovely and nice. And this one of my best experience in the competition. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. Concerning my charity works/Humanitarian services, i am a strong advocate of Sexual abuse! And also a devoted humanitarian! I derive joy rendering services to our society. I started charity at a Tender age so it’s been a part of my life. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? I have appeared in numerous pageant events and several magazines too. with my title I have served/worked in my society World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? I am a multiple award winning beauty queen/model. A top model in Nigeria etc... I have achieved several projects examples: Feed the street, care for the homeless, visited several orphanage homes, several occasions for the widows etc... World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? Confidence. I am one person that has no room for stage freight. Secondly is my smiles, i do have a captivating smile while i am on stage too. World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? My confidence/charisma, as a well experienced pageant model My confidence/ charisma as grown so much that it can be written all over my face and my way of walking. this 2 works perfectly for me as a pageant Queen World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. Of course! I was so happy and excited. I have worked towards winning this title so much so I couldn’t just contain the happiness when my name was called out as the winner. World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? To me, a beauty Queen is a lady who happens to win a beauty pageant. and also a devoted lady willing to work with her office in her society. a beauty Queen is a selfless lady who works so tirelessly to achieve her goals in life. World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? It has helped me by nurturing my way of life, My love for our culture and different beliefs. I have met different kind of people throughout my competitions in pageantry and i most say that Pageantry has helped shape my life positively. World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image? One must create/have self esteem because it’s necessary for every queen. As a public figure, self esteem should be one of the qualities you should acquire. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? This is what i have always wished for! So it’s definitely a dream come true being an inspiration to every girl out there is certainly a good start of life. Seeing that i am inspiration to other girls means that i am on a right path in life World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? Everyday training this is just my tip for learning a better pageant walk. surfing the internet too for good pageant walk videos. With these you’re good to go. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Having a good stylist/fashion designer and knowing your perfect size. staying in shape matters too, know when to loose weight this matters a lot in choosing a right pageant dress. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? Self confidence, being confident while answering an interview is top notch. Before going for an interview, I always make sure am ready and calm. I remove every worries/thoughtfulness in me and concentrate on what i am here for. World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition? I have always been ready for any competition in life be it pageant or otherwise. Naturally i am always ready for anything that comes up! Be it competition. Aside that, I always rehearse and make sure that i am always in line. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience? Over 7 years of Modelling skills. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen? Being a well respected beauty queen and also having a better foundation of my own. And also going into the movie industry fully as an actress. World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? A legacy whereby they will be a voice for every sexual abuse victim, having a well defined home for every less privileged.
