A post graduate teacher and a mother of 2 beautiful kids, presently residing in Trivandrum, Capital city of Gods Own Country, Kerala, India. Travelled across India many times, conversant with different languages and familiar with various cultures of India. Learned Bharatnatyam, teaching dance to students and participating in cultural activities.
Giving importance to human values and well connected with friends and family members, to remain pleasant at all times and strive to keep environment clean. Further, I am fully content with myself, and not counting success in economic terms, but in quality of life.
World Class Beauty Queen: What does women empowerment means to You?
In our society, Dowry harassment and deaths, Violence against women, Outraging modesty of women, Sexual harassment, Cyber crime against women, Police apathy against women, are rampant. In short a male domination in every actions. A Country can only be called civilized, when women live with all dignity and enjoy all rights at par with male, which includes the right to exerciser choice of marriage.
World Class Beauty Queen: Tell us about your pageant history.
Learnt Bharathnatyam dance for 10 years, Since childhood, actively participating in cultural events/competitions, and my parents encouraged for this. However, my first appearance in a National level program is Mrs India Earth 2019, and got awarded the title Mrs Elegant.
World Class Beauty Queen: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Watching beauty contests and such like competitions in TVs and Magazines prompted me an inclination to appear for such contests. The celebrity status they enjoyed in the society also inspired me. My family acknowledged my affinity and supported for the contest. World Class Beauty Queen: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
It is a huge privilege as well as responsibility to represent my Country-India. Qualifications only give entry and the competence that ultimately works. I have that competence and am selected to represent my State at National level. Now crowned as Mrs India United Nations- 2020, and will represent India in an International Platform.
World Class Beauty Queen: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell in what is it about?
The competition, was at different levels. After many round of auditions, selected from the State level, to a finalist at National level and finally grabbed the Mrs Elegant title. A Country like India with 450 million married women, reaching to the final and further as title winner is an achievement. Every stage of competition was challenging and was an inspiration for me to do better in the next level.
World Class Beauty Queen, what are you being judged on during the competition?
Though physical appearance was also a criteria, the competition was for a 360 degree all round performer. Auditions, Interview and other talent competitions were mainly to find out a Complete Women.
World Class Beauty Queen: Tell us about your experience during the competition?
In a developing Country like India, there are only few platforms for married women to show their potential and talents. Each contestant was representing their respective State. Though we all were competing for the same crown, there was so much to learn from each other. We all worked together and the best performer went with the crown.
World Class Beauty Queen: Tell in about your platform or what cause to your volunteer for?
During past 2 year, flood was intense in my locality. Actively participated in relief works by arranging food, water, clothes and medicines. Volunteering in mass tree plantation, cleaning waste and plastics from public places etc. Also taking free tuition and dance classes, to under privileged children in the locality.
World Class Beauty Queen: What appearance have you done with your title?
Recently, attended as Chief Guest in a College Day function. A 20 minute message imparted to 3000 Engineering students gathered there. The gist of my message was about sharing for charity. When we take something from nature, it is our responsibility to give it back. When we make sure to give more than we take, there will be permanent Peace, Prosperity and Unity. Thousands of candle can be lightened from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love. Mother Teresa. World Class Beauty Queen: Tell us about the moment your name was called as the winner?
I have no words to express that proud moments. Mrs India United Nations - 2020 crown given me a huge responsibility. My work, talk and actions are closely watched by all and am supposed to be a role model among them which I am doing my best possible.
World Class Beauty Queen: Any modeling or acting experience.?
Presently No. If get chances, will take up modelling (selective). More interested to take up responsibilities as Goodwill Ambassador for Charity and to work with National and UN sponsored programs. World Class Beauty Queen: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen.
Mrs United Nations-2020 is an International pageant, which is represented by one of the most talented married women from each Member Countries under United Nations Organization. I am holding the title Mrs India United Nations -2020 and represent my Country India, which will be held in October 2020. Further, Mrs United Nations is the face and voice for 2500 million married women under the UN member Countries. I am seriously on the work and look forward for the proud moment for me to be crowned as Mrs United Nations-2020.
World Class Beauty Queen: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind.
Want to leave this world for future generations as a better place, than I came into it. As mentor for my students and mother of 2 kids, want to nurture them as good human beings and contributor for the society. Nothing in Nature live for itself, Rivers don't drink their own water, Trees don't eat their own fruit, The Sun doesn't shine for itself, A flower fragrance is not for itself, Living for each other is the rule for Nature.
