World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.
I was a ballet and jazz dance instructor when I was young. After I got married and my two children were grown up, I started modeling. I then became a certified model walking instructor at Office YOSHIDA. Since then, I have trained and taught amateur to professional models and world-class contestants. Currently, I am the organizer of "Japan World Pageants" which is a joint contest of "Mrs. Japan International Global" and "Transcontinental Pageants". I like to make people happy by teaching them how to walk, express themselves, and perform on stage in contests. I would like to continue to support people to make them smile and shine.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education. From elementary school through high school, I attended a typical Japanese public school and learned to act according to my surroundings. However, I attended a Catholic junior college, and from the Church Sisters I met there, I learned a proactive way of life, to just do whatever I wanted to do.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women’s Empowerment mean to you?
Women have perseverance and can persevere in anything. I believe that by empowering these women, we can have a great impact on the SDGs, which the world is currently working toward as one.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
My walking teacher knew that I loved to be on stage. She told me that there was a contest for our ages. Since I had never participated in a contest before, I was interested and decided to enter.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I was not satisfied with the Japanese contests because they often reflected the personal opinions of the judges, rather than a comprehensive evaluation of the external and internal aspects of the contestants. Also, I wanted to know what my level actually is in the world.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what it is about.
The requirements for MIG are women who have been married or have had a baby. There are two categories. 1) The Mrs. category is for 21-44 years old. 2) The Classic category is for 45 years old and older. The concept of the pageant is “Building Respect And Value for Everyone (B.R.A.V.E)”. This means; No more bullying. Each and every person is valuable and wonderful to all. Let's have the courage to take the first step.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes your director different from others?
She has a global perspective and is able to treat everyone with love, regardless of nationality. In addition, she is a wonderful person who is always involved in volunteer activities.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition? Not only my appearance and walking skills but also my humanity.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
I met many wonderful people at the World Convention in Malaysia. They are queens representing dozens of countries. Among them, the ones who shone were the ones who had their own axis. What I learned from these girls was that knowing yourself and not blurring the lines is what makes you attractive.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Who would you recommend your system to?
People who want to discover a different self
People who want to shine as independent women
People who want to challenge their own potential
People who want to be beautiful both externally and internally
We recommend this program for these people.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
In today's world, life is difficult not only because of natural disasters but also because of worsening economic conditions due to the spread of viruses and other problems. Under such circumstances, we hope to help someone in any way we can through our volunteer activities.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?
I have appeared on TV and radio, published a photo book, served as a judge for other contests, and hosted a competition in Japan.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?
I became a certified walking instructor and was able to win awards for the people I taught. I also trained instructors.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I am able to present myself attractively on stage. And I can teach others how to do it. I have studied and taught ballet and jazz dance before. These experiences have made me love and good at expressing myself in front of others and teaching it.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
To be honest, at that moment I did not feel at all that I had won the awards. This was because I did not fully understand the awarding system of the contest I participated in. It was not until after I returned to Japan and understood the details of the contest that I became excited with realizing my achievements.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It meant that all my life experiences up to that point had been evaluated.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Participating in the contest was a milestone for me, and I was able to start a new life.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants help your self-esteem and body image?
Receiving the high evaluation made me feel more confident both physically and mentally. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I am very happy. I want women around the world to feel something, even just a little, from my presence and receive motivation and energy.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your onstage strategy to win the judges over?
It is to express all the joy and happiness that I myself feel on stage in an honest and direct manner.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?
I was not good at English, so I took English lessons.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
It is to learn from a better instructor.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress? I always ask myself if it is exciting for me to wear the dress. In other words, if the dress makes me excited.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?
It is to clarify my own axis. For this reason, I always try to summarize my thoughts on various things happening around me and try to convey them in words. This is because it is impossible to prepare for a question-and-answer session because you never know what you will be asked in an interview.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I wish I could speak English more fluently.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
When posing, many girls would not stop and walk quickly due to their nervousness.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?
Modeling for an apparel brand fashion show
Image model for cosmetics
PV appearance during a mail order program
PV appearance for an artist group
Appearances in TV commercials (JRA, Otsuka Pharmaceutical, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?
In September, I will be a judge for the Mrs. International Global Contest in Malaysia. I will be visiting in my capacity as the organizer of the Japan competition. I will also support the queens of the Japan competition (four of them) to win awards at the Mrs. International Global Contest which is to be held in Malaysia in December.
