I am a Christian and enjoy being a part of the church I attend. I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy competition cheerleading where I am a Base for my team and I do a lot of tumbling. I’m working on getting my round off back handspring. When I’m not busy with cheer, tumbling or school, I enjoy watching YouTube videos and playing video games. I also like to spend time doing stuff for 4-H. My favorite color is blue and I have 2 cats and 5 chickens. I am learning how to play the flute and the piano and how to shoot archery. I love helping people and just being a kid.
World Class Princess Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you? I believe it mean that girls get together to do something really good.
World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.
I started when I was 3 years old and my mom walked with me down the runway because I was very shy. Later I was invited to one Pure International Pageants State Pageants. The following year I asked mom if I could compete in a pageant with Pure. I have been with them for 2 years now and I enjoy it a lot.
World Class Princess Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
My mom started me with pageants to help me become more confident and have better self-esteem. World Class Princess Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I was introduced to Pure International Pageants about 2 years ago and I enjoy the system. Pure is a system that stands on Christian morals. They are community service driven and I love to do community service while being able to serve God. I wanted to compete for this title so I can share Pure with others, reach my community through service projects, and be an impact.
World Class Princess Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Pure International Pageants is a natural, community service driven pageant system. They are great at helping contestants to find confidence in a very positive way. They are a family and stand behind Biblical principles. When you get involved with Pure you have gained an entire second family and you will walk away with only positive experiences.
World Class Princess Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?
I am being judged on Formal Wear, State Costume, and Interview.
World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
I have a lot of fun at the Pure International Pageant. My favorite part is the Wacky Tacky party, getting to know everyone, meeting new friends from all over, and being able to be me.
World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I have been working with a local VFW to make Comfort Kits for our military. I help them by collecting travel size toiletries, making fresh cookies, and packing up the comfort kits. I also make homemade cards for kids, military, and nursing homes. I find events in my state where I can set up a table to allow community kids to make the cards. When I get enough cards, I deliver them to the children’s hospital, nursing home and the VFW. This year my favorite project has been Team Hope. With the quarantine and no one being able to go anywhere, I wanted to find a way to cheer people up. I saw a birthday drive-by on my moms Facebook and thought it was a good idea so with moms help, I started Team Hope. We go out almost every other weekend to drive-by homes of older people, graduating seniors, and anybody else who needs cheering up. We started with 4 cars and it has grown to 14 cars and has reached over 100 people in my community. World Class Princess Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?
I went to a fundraiser for Samaritans Purse Clean Water Project where I had pictures taken with those attending. I participated with Wreaths Across America in Washington DC and helped lay several wreaths on graves including one of my ancestors graves. I went to a vendor fair with the VFW and helped promote the VFW by coloring pages with kids for military packages. My favorite was going to the Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics. I joined one of my favorite older Pure titleholders and her team to jump into the cold ocean water. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to do it again.
World Class Princess Magazine: What are some of your achievements?
I received a certificate of appreciation from the VFW for all I’ve helped them with. The best one I’ve had is just meeting new people and making an impact in their life.
World Class Princess Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I am always myself no matter what and I keep God first in my life.
World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was ecstatic that I won! Whenever I see my mom with all my awards and her smile, I was proud of myself that I achieved so much.
World Class Princess Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
To me it means to be able to inspire other people and let them know they can follow their dreams and believe in themselves.
World Class Princess Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
I was always very shy, wouldn’t talk to anyone, wouldn’t even go near a stage or even speak up in school. Now, my mom can’t get me to stop talking to people. I love getting up on a stage to do a performance, speak in front of a group, and meeting new people and kids my age.
World Class Princess Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
Growing up is not easy and kids aren’t always nice. I am not even a teenager yet and I’ve been teased by kids at school. It does make me a little upset but I am able to remind myself that God made me and loves me and I am me.
World Class Princess Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It feels awesome! It feels like a whole other world because I get to be a girl that loves to inspire other girls to be themselves.
World Class Princess Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
I don’t have an on stage strategy. I will be myself.
World Class Princess Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?
I have practiced interview a little and anytime I get any kind of new clothes, I always like to put on a fun fashion show which kind of is like practicing walking the runway.
World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Practice World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
I always choose what I like in my favorite color, is comfortable to wear, and makes me feel good.
World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?
I’m still young and learning but be yourself and be honest.
World Class Princess Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I really don’t know. Maybe speeding down the runway a few times when I should’ve been taking my time.
World Class Princess Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Everyone makes mistakes at some point. The judges are the only ones to judge.
World Class Princess Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?
I have not done any yet but would love to some time.
World Class Princess Magazine: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?
I want to keep doing what I’m doing with the VFW and the cards.
World Class Princess Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
You can do big things or you can do small things. Sometimes it’s the smaller things we do that will make the biggest impact.
