Hi and thank you! I am a mother of 3 world changers, a pharmacist, and advocate for The Alzheimer's Association and The Women's Alzheimer's Movement. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education. I have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a B.S. in Chemistry, licensed in 3 states, and many certificates.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment mean to you? It's when a woman is aware of her self-worth and values herself. She is confident and is able to make decisions for herself and for her family. She doesn't allow culture, society, or other standards to influence her decisions.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history. I started in April of 2022 with my first pageant and my second July of 2022 when I won my first United States Title.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant? I was encouraged throughout life to get involved in pageantry but it wasn't until I turned 50 that I decided I had something to say. I was encouraged again by a few people and once I found a pageant system that both supported my platform and was God centered I decided to "go for it".

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I wanted to be able to advocate for Alzheimer's Dementia and believe pageantry is another avenue to be able to do so.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? Cosmos encourages us to engage in community service and supports each of our platforms.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes your director different from others? She continues to encourage and support us with all of our differences.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Ms. Elite is judges on the following:

• evening gown 40% • physical fitness wear 30% • onstage question 10% • interview 20%

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

I experienced what it was like to meet people from all over the world and connect with ladies that I could form a sisterhood with. We all seemed to want to help each other and encourage each other throughout the competition. Pageantry is truly so much more than the runway, the lights and all the stage action.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Who would you recommend your system to? Anyone that is interested in challenging themselves. Someone that likes to give back through community service and share their platform.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. My platform is Alzheimer's Dementia. I am passionate about educating the public on ways in which we can prevent Alzheimer's disease as well as helping individuals and families to cope with the disease.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title? I have volunteered in several communities in the state of Tennessee. I was interviewed in Nashville, Tennessee on the news, channel 8 in our annual walk to end Alzheimer’s at Nissan stadium. I also represented Cosmos in a city wide Christmas Parade and look forward to future opportunities while in my reign.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements? I have achieved several accolades within my personal life and in healthcare. Pageantry is a new adventure for me. I would say my biggest achievement is that I was crowned Ms. Elite Cosmos United States 2022!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? That I was consistent throughout the competition and also maintained an upbeat attitude and was told I am pleasant to be around.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. I was in disbelief! One of the other contestants had to tell me I won. I was sure that the lady who won 1st runner up would be crowned. I guess you could say I was in shock!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? That you are an example for other girls/women 24 hours 7 days a week. You maintain character, confidence, and a winning attitude every day.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life? Competing in pageantry has given me more confidence and allowed me to be able to reach others and share about prevention and education for my platform A.D.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image? I don't have a negative outlook on body image. I believe God has created each of us in HIS image. Understanding how we are made in God’s image helps us to see the basis for the dignity and purpose of our life and work.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? To be consistent throughout the competition and have fun! World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition? I spent most of my time on the interview portion. I wanted to most effectively share my story and get the message across regarding Alzheimer's Dementia.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? To maintain confidence, poise and have fun.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Choose a dress that compliments your shape and makes you feel most comfortable and confident.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview? I would have to say use gestures with words that create the greatest expression. Maintain confidence and great body language towards the judges.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? If I could redo any part of the competition it would be to have chosen a lighter color of spray tan.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? I would have to answer without smiling. Sometimes contestants can be so nervous that they miss displaying their smile.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience? I have been with a model/talent agency for almost 3 years now. I have been in many commercials, music videos, and commercial print.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2023 as a Queen? To continue to try and reach more people throughout my reign by advocating for my platform. I am hopeful for many speaking opportunities and sharing my story about this devastating disease.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? I hope I am a role model for other females by inspiring them to step out and try something new regardless of their age. Pageantry can begin at any age.
