Answer: I am a 24-year-old girl, passionate about the arts and a legal professional. I was born in the Tachira state, known worldwide as the state of cordiality in Venezuela. I am proud of everything I have achieved in life, thanks to discipline. My family has been a fundamental pillar in my professional career. I always like to add positively to society.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your story about the contests: I have participated in Miss Venezuela, representing Apure, it was a very rewarding and enriching for me as a person, as a professional and as an artist. I loved being part of the contest and thanks to that I attended the National Casting to be Miss Océano Venezuela, from which I was selected to represent my country in style, in an international beauty contest to be announced soon, stay tuned. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: For those unfamiliar with your contest system, please tell us what it is. Miss Ocean Venezuela, is a beauty contest, which is responsible for the protection of the seas and oceans. In addition, the protection and administration of the vital liquid. It is said that Miss Océano Venezuela is the most beautiful woman in the seas and the Caribbean. Miss Ocean Venezuela, works hand in hand with FUNDAMAR, to raise awareness in educational matters in society.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How was your experience during the competition? Enriching, I have been chosen for a month, I am preparing for my competition in public speaking, catwalk, styling, skin care. I am working hard to raise the name of my country Venezuela, the cradle of international beauty. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What was judged during the competition? The judges who determined this wonderful place that I occupy today were the members of the Miss Ocean Venezuela Organization; Mr. Emmanuel Niño; beauty expert, has consolidated my predecessors won beauty competition, Dr. Henry Winston, for his vision of extolling Venezuelan women in the world. Also, from Professor Yukency Sapucki, who has been my guide in this process, that the opportunities for success are valid. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to enter your first contest? I wanted to compete for the first time because in principle it was a goal that I wanted to achieve. I showed that I could do well and then I wanted to be able to have the opportunity to give the Venezuelans the joy of an international victory. Bringing a crown home is something that makes the heart of any Venezuelan happy in these difficult times. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What made you decide to compete for your title? As I mentioned before, the illusion and the desire to give Venezuelans the joy of an international victory. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your platform or cause and why it is so dear and close to your heart. My social project is based on a bill, of which I am a co-author: "Love as a fundamental right." It is a law that aims to bring love to a legal status, as a fundamental right for all, so that the actions of citizens are seen from a different, more empathic perspective. Especially in a society like the Venezuelan that is so broken by social conventions, political and economic differences; among many other factors. The idea is that we begin to take situations with more empathy and love, with equanimity. Violence and hate will never lead to anything good. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? It feels very nice to know that many girls dream of what I have now. It is a great responsibility for me not to disappoint them and to be an example of good for them. It is also important to be real, not to show them a lie. Many people think that this world is rosy, that everything is beauty and glamour, but behind that there are many tears and hard work, girls who dream of this should know. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How has volunteering helped your life? Volunteering has been a very nice experience. In particular, you begin to see life in a different way and it is an activity that fills your soul. After you start you do not want to stop, you want to continue helping, being an instrument of good for others, a light, even if it is a little bit. We realize how lucky we are and in many cases, volunteering is a school for life. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about some of your achievements. I am a lawyer, being an instrument of justice is practically my greatest achievement. I work for others, to help them and so that their rights do not go unpunished. I also wrote my first book, it is a story based on real events, which occurred in a very important little town in Venezuela. It is soon to be published and that fills me with great enthusiasm. And without leaving behind, being named Miss Ocean Venezuela 2022 has been an immense achievement for me, thank you all for making this dream come true and being Venezuela in the world. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any acting or modeling achievements. I am not a model of the editorial type, I am more commercial. I have worked with various clothing stores, with companies and with important businesses such as Empresas Polar. I've been a makeup model, which is really fun and I really like it. I have also modeled for products and accessories. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How does education play a role in your life? For me, education plays a very important role in my life and I think that in everyone's life as well. As Simón Bolívar said “a being without studies is an incomplete being”. It is a famous phrase and with a lot of content. If it weren't for my education, which I received thanks to my parents, I wouldn't be able to represent my country properly nor be the citizen that I am. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Evening dress is a big part of the competition. Who chose and what is your thought process for selecting the dress? A velvety column, in a soft and subtle classic mermaid cut, with a Strapless neckline, wrapping your shoulders in a fold of descending silk cyberline in details that frames the feminine silhouette, in a corseted bodice and merging with its drawn floral forms and applied in a delicate embroidery, without Sparkles, only capturing in a passionate red of love for the warmth of simplicity and delicious combination of floral nature and femininity. I consider that the best is to be yourself, with your naturalness and simplicity; beauty pageants are about good relationships; charisma and spontaneity are my strengths. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: We want to hear in your own words how it felt to hear your name as the winner. When the organization called me to tell me that I was the winner, I remember that I was at my house in Carora and the first thing I did was sit on the nearest piece of furniture. Everything was like in slow motion. I felt very happy, I wanted to scream with emotion, but I didn't, I had many things on my mind, now I was no longer María Paula, it was Venezuela. The first person to tell was my mom. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does the crown and frame symbolize? They undoubtedly symbolize the responsibility and honor of being Venezuela to the world. Something so great that it could not be explained with words alone, but with actions and the behavior of a worthy and honorable queen. The crown represents the most beautiful woman of the seas and the Caribbean, with sparkles in turquoise green to our Venezuelan seas and the intense blue of the ocean. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to be a beauty queen? I feel with all my heart, that it is an arduous commitment, that there is an audience that supports you, follows your career, they expect so many things from you, that it is gratifying, to be able to bring a positive message to all young people; that being a beauty queen is a commitment to discipline and that perseverance leads to success. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Competing in pageants is not easy. What were your obstacles and how did you overcome them? My biggest obstacle was believing in myself. More than public opinion and material obstacles, I think that beginning to believe that I was capable was the most difficult. Many women grow up with unfounded ideas and limitations, when we go out into the world alone then fears come. I worked on my inner María Paula, on my inner girl to overcome all that... and I still do. It has not been an easy road, but achieving goals and overcoming fears is very satisfying. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How has competing in pageants helped in your life? It gave me professional and artistic projection. I am a much more complete woman now. Send a message to young people, that they can overcome and achieve everything they set out to do, there are no borders or divisions to achieve our dreams. The limits are in the mind. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as queen? Of course to bring a crown to my country. Soy una joven de 24 años, apasionada a las artes y profesional del derecho. Nací en el Estado Tachira, conocido mundialmente como el estado de la cordialidad de Venezuela. Me siento orgullosa de todo lo que he alcanzado en la vida, gracias a la disciplina. Mi familia ha sido un pilar fundamental en mi carrera profesional. Me gusta siempre sumar en positivo en la sociedad. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Cuéntanos sobre tu historia acerca de los
concursos:
He participado en el Miss Venezuela, representando Apure, fue una experiencia muy
gratificante y enriquecedora para mí como persona, como profesional y como artista. Me
encanto formar parte del concurso y gracias a ello asistí al Casting Nacional para ser Miss
Océano Venezuela 2022, del cual fui seleccionada para representar a mi país por todo lo alto, en un concurso internacional de belleza por anunciar próximamente, estén atentos.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Para aquellos que no están familiarizados con su sistema de concursos, por favor díganos de qué se trata.
Miss Océano Venezuela, es un concurso de belleza, que se encarga de la protección de los mares y los océanos. Además, de la protección y administración del vital líquido. Se dice que la Miss Océano Venezuela es la mujer más bella de los mares y el caribe. Miss Océano Venezuela, trabaja de la mano con FUNDAMAR, para sensibilizar en materia educativa a la sociedad.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cómo fue tu experiencia durante la competencia?
Enriquecedora, tengo un mes de haber sido elegida, estoy en preparativos para mi competencia en materia de oratoria, pasarela, estilismo, cuidado de piel. Estoy trabajando arduamente para dejar en alto el nombre de mi país Venezuela, cuna de la belleza internacional.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué se juzgó durante la competencia?
Fueron los jueces que determinaron este maravilloso lugar que hoy ocupo, los miembros de la Organización Miss Océano Venezuela; el Licenciado Emmanuel Niño; experto en belleza, ha consolidado a mis antecesoras ganado competencia de belleza, al Doctor Henry Winston, por su visión de enaltecer la mujer venezolana en el mundo. Además, de la profesora Yukency Sapucki, quien ha sido mi guía en este proceso, que son válidas las oportunidades para el éxito. Además, de la familia Kanda, una hermosa familia que aporta un sentido de educación y buenas costumbres. En unión de todas las personalidades, ellos vieron el perfil adecuado para representarlos a nivel internacional. A todos, muchas gracias. Considero que en la competencia se juzgó la preparación, una reina con corazón y dominio del idioma inglés.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué parte de la competencia fue tu favorita?
Estoy por vivir la competencia internacional, se que la prueba favorita será el traje típico, gala y la respuesta final, ansiosa por ese momento.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué te inspiró a entrar a tu primer concurso?
Quise concursar por primera vez porque en principio fue una meta que quería cumplir. Demostré que podía hacerlo bien y luego quise poder tener la oportunidad de darle a los venezolanos la alegría de un triunfo internacional. Traer una corona a casa, es algo que en estos tiempos difíciles alegra el corazón de cualquier venezolano.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué te hizo decidir competir por tu título?
Como lo mencione antes, la ilusión y las ganas de darle a los venezolanos la alegría de un triunfo internacional.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Por favor, cuéntenos sobre tu plataforma o causa y porqué es muy querido y cercano a tu corazón.
Mi proyecto social se basa en un proyecto de ley, del cual soy coautora: “El amor como derecho fundamental”. Se trata de una ley que pretende llevar el amor a un estatus legal, como un derecho fundamental para todos, de manera que se vean las acciones de los ciudadanos desde una perspectiva distinta, más empática. En especial en una sociedad como la venezolana que esta tan quebrantada por convencionalismos sociales, diferencias políticas y económicas; entre muchos otros factores. La idea es que comencemos a tomar las situaciones con más empatía y amor, con ecuanimidad. La violencia y el odio nunca llevaran a nada bueno.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Eres una inspiración para todas las chicas por ahí. ¿Cómo se siente?
Se siente muy bonito saber que muchas niñas sueñan con lo que yo tengo ahora. Es una gran responsabilidad para mí no defraudarlas y ser ejemplo de bien para ellas. También es importante ser real, no mostrarles una mentira. Muchas personas piensan que este mundo es color de rosas, que todo es belleza y glamour, pero detrás de eso hay muchas lágrimas y trabajo duro, las niñas que sueñan con esto deben saberlo.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cómo el voluntariado ayudó a tu vida?
Hacer voluntariado ha sido una experiencia muy linda. En particular, comienzas a ver la vida de una manera distinta y es una actividad que te llena el alma. Luego de que comienzas no quieres parar, quieres seguir ayudando, siendo un instrumento de bien para los demás, una luz, aunque sea una pequeñita. Nos damos cuenta de lo afortunados que somos y en muchos casos, hacer voluntariado es una escuela para la vida.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Cuéntanos algunos de tus logros.
Soy abogada, ser un instrumento de justicia es prácticamente mi mayor logro. Trabajo para los demás, para ayudarles y para que sus derechos no queden impunes. También escribí mi primer libro, es una historia basada en hechos reales, la cual ocurrió en un pueblito muy importante de Venezuela. Este pronto a publicarse y eso me llena de mucha ilusión. Y sin que quede atrás, ser nombrada como Miss Océano Venezuela 2022 ha sido un logro inmenso para mí, gracias a todos por hacer este sueño realidad y ser Venezuela en el mundo.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Alguna actuación o logros de modelaje.
Yo no soy modelo del tipo editorial, soy más comercial. He trabajado con diversas tiendas de ropa, con empresas y con comercios importantes como Empresas Polar. He sido modelo de maquillaje, lo cual es muy divertido y me gusta mucho. También he modelado para productos y accesorios.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cómo juega la educación un papel en tu vida?
Para mí la educación juega un papel importantísimo en mi vida y opino que en la vida de todos también. Como bien lo dijo Simón Bolívar “un ser sin estudios es un ser incompleto”. Es una frase célebre y con mucho contenido. Sino fuese por mi educación, que gracias a mis padres recibí, no podría ser capaz de representar a mi país de una forma adecuada ni tampoco ser la ciudadana que soy.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: El vestido de noche es una gran parte de la competencia. ¿Quién eligió y cuál es su proceso de pensamiento para seleccionar el vestido?
Una columna aterciopelada, en un suave y sutil corte asirenado clásico, en escote Palabra de Honor, envolviendo sus hombros en un pliego de ciberlina de seda descendiente en detalles que enmarca la silueta femenina, en un corpiño acorsetado y fundiéndose con sus formas florales extraídas y aplicadas en un delicado bordado, sin Destellos, sólo plasmando en un rojo apasionado de amor por la calidez de la sencillez y deliciosa combinación de naturaleza floral y femineidad. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cuál fue tu estrategia en el escenario para ganar a los jueces?
Considero que la mejor es ser tu misma, con tu naturalidad y sencillez; los concursos de belleza son de buenas relaciones; el carisma y la espontaneidad son mis fortalezas.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Queremos escuchar en tus propias palabras cómo te sentiste al escuchar tu nombre como ganador.
Cuando la organización me llamo para decirme que era yo la ganadora, recuerdo que estaba en mi casa de Carora y lo primero que hice fue sentarme en el mueble más cercano. Todo fue como en cámara lenta. Me sentí muy feliz, quería gritar de la emoción, pero no lo hice, tenía muchas cosas en mi cabeza, ahora ya no era María Paula, era Venezuela. A la primera persona en contarle fue a mi mama.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué simboliza la corona y el marco?
Sin duda simbolizan la responsabilidad y el honor de ser Venezuela para el mundo. Algo tan grande que no se podría explicar con solo palabras, pero si con acciones y el comportamiento de una reina digna y honorable. La corona representa la mujer más bella de los mares y el caribe, con destellos en verde turquesa a nuestros mares venezolanos y el azul intenso del océano.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Qué significa ser una reina de belleza?
Siento con todo el corazón, que es un compromiso arduo, que hay un publico que te apoya, sigue tu carrera, esperan de ti tantas cosas, que es gratificante, poder llevar un mensaje en positivo a todos los jóvenes; que ser reina de belleza es un compromiso con disciplina y que la constancia te lleva al éxito.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Competir en concursos no es fácil. ¿Cuáles fueron tus obstáculos y cómo los superaste?
Mi mayor obstáculo fue creer en mí. Mas que la opinión publica y los obstáculos materiales, creo que comenzar a creer que yo era capaz fue lo más difícil. Muchas mujeres crecemos con ideas infundadas y limitaciones, cuando salimos al mundo solas entonces vienen los miedos. Trabaje en mi María Paula interior, en mi niña interior para superar todo eso... y aun lo hago. No ha sido un camino fácil, pero lograr metas y superar miedos es muy satisfactorio.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cómo competir en concursos ayudó en tu vida?
Me dio proyección profesional y artística. Soy una mujer mucho más completa ahora. Levar un mensaje a los jóvenes, que se pueden superar y lograr todo lo que se proponen, no hay fronteras ni divisiones para lograr nuestros sueños. Los limites están en la mente.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: ¿Cuáles son tus planes para 2022 como reina?
Por supuesto que traerle una corona a mi país.

El legado del amor, de la compasión y el más importante, el de la empatía.
