I am Linda Torres, I just turned 60. Was born in Chicago, Illinois, raised by my parents of originally from Veraçruz, Mexico. This allowed me to be bi-lingual, in which English and Spanish have been my fluent languages. I am grateful for my parents (which now rest in peace) for raising me with both cultures. I reside presently in the beautiful state of San Diego California, city of Chula Vista. I am a mother of 4 now adults, and 3 adorable grandsons, Sebastian 12,Mateo 7,and Ian of 1year,and the arrival of 1 more boy in October. I am a massage therapist, provide Swedish massages, and hot stone massages, as well as body sculpting therapies. I am also a Zumba instructor, in the field of Zumba Gold, for the active seniors, and beginners, for 8 years now. Was certified by the founder himself, Beto Perez. I describe myself myself as a cheerful, good spirit, calm person, that helps others in nothing in return. I enjoy taking care of myself, my health and looks, and be beautiful from inside and out.

My inspiration to get the opportunity to accomplish my goals, my dreams as a child to be in a pageant. To prove to myself I could fulfill what it takes to be in a pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I motivated myself to move up, to always do better, experience an international pageant. Interact with other foreign beauty contestants. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
An organization, to help woman find themselves, encourage them in learning how to have a better self esteem.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes your director different from others?
Having the staff, ready with professional translators. Having a good team of directors to provide with whatever we needed assistance with, in an unfamiliar atmosphere we were at, the best attention was given to us. We were received with the best attention since landing at the airport.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Not just the outside beauty, but the inside beauty. Your behavior, attendance on time, interacting with others, respect to all directors. Completing assignments given.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Who would you recommend your system to?
To those seeking guidance and self esteem coaching. Those who have in mind joining a beauty contest.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
My platform is to leave behind, an example of a mature caring contestant, helping others...a queen always helps another queen with her crown.

A welcome back event, from Bogota Colombia, sharing my exciting experience there .
Crowning a young Miss pageant in Los Angeles,"Versage Group" Mexico without Borders event.

My self confidence has gained.
Speaking in public has improved.
Seeking more projects in the near future to help others who want to enter a pageant.

Being a mature woman, a Queen , experience gained. The natural beauty, age with grace.

Mixed beautiful exciting feelings!! In a little shock, but felt I really deserved that title, because I worked for it!!!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
It means to me, to first accept yourself, love yourself. Be beautiful inside and out, and help others always.... That is always being beautiful!!!
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Being in pageants, has helped my self esteem very much!! Has given me the opportunity to meet many new people, contestants, directors, beauty consultants, and learn much ,from others.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
My self esteem, is now better, knowing what once was hidden, of my inner talents, pageants have helped my confidence. My body image is to always look my best, and help others as well.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I enjoy when I am complemented by other woman, whether it be my style, my pictures, or my personality. I always try to give my best for myself. I appreciate all good feedback.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
To be secure with oneself.
Give the best of yourself.
Smile, look at your judges...
Study their background where they are from, their titles..
Always be polite., if possible, get to know them.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?
My preparation for my first pageant, was trainings every other week. From coaching, self esteem, makeup classes, speaking in public, walking in heels for hours pageant walks, correct sitting posture.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Self confidence!!! Never look down at your feet, or your crown will fall! Practice with a book on your head, good posture, get good professional classes. Look at yourself in the mirror. .put music to help as well.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Be comfortable!!
Remember you will be on stage
Not tight...not transparent .
Practice with your dress as well.
Have the best comfortable shoes for that dress .
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview?
Confidence!
Speaking clearly, do not ask the questions to be repeated.
Casual smile, eye contact.
Practice questions ahead of time if given.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
Not being able to know better the other contestants, with little time ,many activities, I wish I could of known them all better!! Also my face in tears and shock when winning...Good tears.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Not preparing themselves, well for interviews.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?
Not any, but in the near future, will do modeling for wedding gowns.

To keep growing in this field, coach other women who want to pursue the same dream!

A kind , supporting ,good teamwork person, non conflict person. Show others it's never too late to follow your dreams, in being a Beauty Queen.
