My favorite phrase is "What you feel, you attract". And this phrase I try to apply every day of my life. I like to be a happy, peaceful, positive person. I love enjoying every stage of my life. I like to be grateful and humble, and that the people around me are too. I think that all good things come at the right time. I love my life.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
All women must be brave and have great inner strength. The empowerment of a woman is to have that courage, it is to have great self-love. Self-love that demolishes fears, that eliminates fears.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
In 2007 it was my first contest, Mrs Costa Rica (finalist) In the same year I traveled to Ecuador to Mrs Intercontinental (I won)
In 2016 I was the winner of the Mrs Universe Costa Rica, the best of all my contests.
In 2016 I travel to China to the International Mrs Universe contest. (7th place )
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Since I was a child I wanted to show that I could be a beauty queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
Because I wanted to be a queen of the best contest in Costa Rica.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Beauty pageants are not what everyone thinks. Contests make women feel confident about themselves and empower themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Runway, expression, but the most important thing is attitude.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
I had many emotions, but I knew that I had to do my best to be the queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
Mrs Universe Costa Rica, has several causes. We mainly collaborate with children who are at risk. We have Christmas parties for the children. We bring them gifts.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
We have done several interviews, television shows, advertising contracts etc.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
I am a professional in Human Resources, I am a successful mother, I am a wife. I live in love with my family. I really appreciate being able to travel and see the world
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I have always thought that the attitude with what you do things makes the difference. ️
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
My heart almost exploded with happiness. I couldn't believe that I had achieved one of my biggest dreams of my life. I was thinking of my husband and my daughter.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
I love showing people that it's not just appearances. The queens also have important projects that help people.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Helped me fight for each of my goals.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?
All women always have complexes, however in a contest you work hard for your goals and when you see the results you realize that you can achieve whatever you want and your self-esteem and security increase.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I love being able to inspire women to fight for their dreams.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Demonstrating security on stage is essential, have the attitude of a queen!
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
Take care of my meals, I went to runway classes, and a lot of exercise. Take care of my publications on social networks, to show that I should be the queen.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Always be graceful and move your hips!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
A dress does not make a queen. However, girls should choose a dress that makes them feel confident and beautiful on the runway.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Always be natural and don't pretend.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I do not regret anything. I always enjoyed a lot and did my best.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
You should always think that the strongest competition is the mirror. If you see the other girls it can generate insecurity. And insecurity can lead you to make mistakes.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I had an acting experience in TV commercials and in a comedy series.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want women to know that they are stronger than they think. And that they can achieve each of their dreams.
