I was born and grew up in the beautiful Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. I am a dedicated, focused, sincere and positive individual. I enjoy living life the best I can, maintaining high standards and professionalism in all areas of my life. Spending time with my family, reading, hiking and I love to be outdoors.
World Class Kings Magazine: Why did you chose to compete for your title?
I am a people`s person. I love to reach out to those in need and want to make use of every platform that is available to assist me in making a difference in the lives of those in need. I feel humbled and honored to be given the title of Mr. Hear SA as I believe in having a heart of Gold is the best asset that anyone can have. If you have a heart you have everything and that is what matters the most to me.
World Class Kings Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? Mr. South Africa is a pageant that do not require you to be a male model , the platform is open to those who feel they can make a difference in their country, by their involvement in community work.
World Class Kings Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition? We being judged through various challenges which ranged from business acumen to charity challenges. Our performance is also assessed on the person that makes the most difference in the community.
World Class Kings Magazine: Which part of the competition was most fun for you? Rehearsals for the final night, and also to get to know my fellow contestants during the entire week at the Mr. South Africa preparations.
World Class Kings Magazine: Which part of the competition was most challenging for you? The Business challenge, going out and do proposals to business owners
World Class Kings Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant? Mr. South Africa was my very first pageant . I love doing charity work, reaching out to those in need and knew that if I entered this competition it could assist me in doing so much more for my community..
World Class Kings Magazine: What are some of you achievements?
I have obtained the diploma, Public Administration at I Q ACADEMY, Practice Administration at the Law Society of South Africa.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what charity you volunteer for? Brand Ambassador for the Little Fighters Cancer Trust in Paarl in the Western Cape, an organization very close to my heart. I am also a Brand Ambassador for Safe House in Stellenbosch for abused Women. Am also a co-owner of SJ Community Hearts
World Class Kings Magazine: What are some of the appearances that you've done? Attending as a VIP Guest for Smart Supporting Mentorship in Mitchell Plain, also special appearance at Ligstraal Concert for children with special needs. Special Guest with TV Celebrity Chris Welman who play in 7de Laan a local soapy.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your evening wear? Grey and black suit shows off my confidence and be a man of honor.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your national costume? There was no national costume because it was a Mr. South Africa pageant and not international.
World Class Kings Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other guys? All my charity/outreach work that I have done in my community.
World Class Kings Magazine: How did it feel to hear your name as the winner? I was blessed, honored and excited.
World Class Kings Magazine: What does the stole (sash) symbolizes to you? If you have a Heart you have everything in life.
World Class Kings Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a King? To be a role model, humble, honest and intelligent. To be Self-confident, discipline and having integrity on all levels of your life and a positive leader that know who he is, his roots and his aspirations.
World Class Kings Magazine: Any Modeling, Film, acting or music experience you would like to share? I am just an ordinary guy, who wants to do good for others
World Class Kings Magazine: What are your plans for 2020 as a King? As a current title holder, I am busy with outreach programs, motivational speeches at schools and crèches. I am also a co-owner of SJ Community Hearts, we reaching out to those in need and to make a positive difference in they daily lives. I want to Inspire and motivate the youth of South Africa so they can have hope. I also want to use my platform to share my life story.
World Class Kings Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? During this economic trying times in our country, abuse against women and children, it is of utmost importance to give them hope of a better tomorrow. Through my outreach I want , this to carry on from generation to generation.
