World Class Kings Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.
I would say that I'm charismatic, introspective, imaginative, and approachable. I've always been an active listener, paying close attention to what others are saying and understanding their perspectives. I'm always empathetic and approachable with everyone I meet. I believe I'm a people person; I love people, and they're drawn to me. People say these qualities radiate naturally from within me.
World Class Kings Magazine: What inspired you to compete for your title?
The Kids Multicultural World is a cultural activism, fashion, modeling, and acting academy empowering a diverse nation. This platform inspires kids to celebrate their cultural heritage, promoting multiculturalism to eradicate discrimination, bullying, and segregation—embracing self-growth, skill-building, and nurturing individual talents. And I believe, that sparked my desire to compete for my title. I aspire to be the voice of inspiration for my people. I want to be the voice of encouragement for those hesitant to embrace their true selves, fearing bullying. I envision the next generation proudly embracing their roots and celebrating their unique identity.
World Class Kings Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
The Kids Multicultural World is a cultural activism, Fashion, Modeling and Acting Academy focused on Uniting a diverse Nation of Kids ages 0 month - 17 years. They produce a bimonthly magazine, online Modeling & acting classes and host annual Kids Multicultural Fashion Shows & Festivals Worldwide. They also educate Kids to take pride in cultural heritage, bring more awareness to multiculturalism to end discrimination, bullying and segregation- understanding the importance of self-growth, building skills, and capitalizing on their individual talents. This organization was founded on May 1st, 2017 by CEO .Queen Amb. Dr. Krystal Okeke’Chanchangi. A global cultural activist and voice for the next generation. The Ceo is focused on eliminating discrimination, bullying, and segregation.
World Class Kings Magazine: What are the categories you are being judged during the competition?
The specific categories I believe I was being judged on during the competition were my radiant authenticity, positively infectious personality, stunning overall appearance, quick wit, impeccable style, and captivating charm.
World Class Kings Magazine: Which part of the competition did you enjoy the most and why?
The most exciting part of the competition was the transformative journey it offered, sparking unparalleled personal growth and self-discovery. It provides a dynamic environment to stretch beyond perceived limits, acquire new skills, and revel in the euphoria of progress and accomplishment. Competition like this inherently embodies a compelling pursuit of excellence, which can be a powerful driving force. It prompts individuals to scrutinize their strengths and weaknesses, pinpoint areas for refinement, and devise strategies to conquer challenges. I guarantee you that you will have an extraordinary experience, regardless of the outcome, and you will undoubtedly astonish yourself with your untapped potential. As what my momma always say; Get out there, live BIG. The sky’s the limit.
World Class Kings Magazine: Which part of the competition was most challenging for you and why?
Competition, while often motivating, can also bring several challenges like Stress and Pressure. The desire to win or achieve a certain level of success can lead to increased anxiety and stress. The most challenging part for me was likely the combination of intense pressure & tight schedules, which could lead me to feeling overwhelmed but I have the best support system that made this journey more enjoyable than stressful.
World Class Kings Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Pageants offer a transformative blend of competition and personal growth, drawing individuals from diverse backgrounds who share a common goal: to unleash their potential, build confidence, and champion a cause that ignites their passion. What inspired me was the desire to tap into my inner strength and gain invaluable experience. The Kids Multicultural World provides a vibrant platform for children to showcase their talents in dance, music, public speaking, or modeling, while nurturing future leaders and visionaries. By promoting awareness about pressing issues like bullying, discrimination, and segregation, this platform empowers us to become catalysts for positive change.
World Class Kings Magazine: What are some of you achievements?
If I were to pick my greatest achievement, it would be when I was given the title of Mr. America Nation Ambassador, representing our state. And I am the youngest ambassador from Bagobo Tagabawa tribe. I am also named one of the Iconic top model Kid.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what charity you volunteer for?
My mom and I personally extend our hand to churches and schools in remote areas in the Philippines. We often do a garage sale, selling our belongings (old or new) that we no longer use. The proceeds go to remote areas in Davao Del Sur, Philippines. We can’t help everyone in this world, but at least a little something can make a difference. I am also very interested in volunteering with an environmental organization because I'm passionate about protecting our planet and believe that reducing waste is a crucial step towards a sustainable future. I'm eager to learn and contribute my skills to help educate the community and make a positive impact on the environment.
World Class Kings Magazine: What are some of the appearances that you've done?
I had the honor of gracing the covers of Kids Multicultural World Magazine and Iconic Fashion Kids Magazine.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your evening wear?
My evening wear from Dressy Daisy is truly regal. The outfit is a masterclass in elegance, with golden accents that add a sophisticated touch, making me feel like the best version of myself. I appreciate every detail of it.
World Class Kings Magazine: Tell us about your national costume?
My Inabel was created and designed by Rose Monon, the daughter of Filipino weaver Apo Salinta Monon, and her granddaughter Love Monon. It is a traditional handwoven abaca textile from our tribe, the Bagobo-Tagabawa people of Mindanao, Philippines. It is known for its intricate geometric designs and the ikat technique used, called "bëbëd," where threads are tied and dyed before weaving. Our Inabal holds significant cultural meaning, symbolizing wealth, spiritual protection, and is traditionally used by nobility and for sacred rituals.
World Class Kings Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other kings?
What sets me apart from other kings is my profound connection to my heritage and my passion for driving positive change. My uniqueness is further amplified by the invaluable principles my mother has instilled in me, empowering me to make a meaningful impact.
World Class Kings Magazine: What was your reaction and how did it made you feel when they called your name as the winner?
Hearing your name announced as a winner was a profoundly empowering experience, especially since I wasn't expecting it - I was simply reveling in the journey. My initial reaction was a mix of astonishment, elation, and a deep sense of fulfillment. Knowing that someone as little as me from the Tagabawa Tribe can make a meaningful impact was an incredible source of joy. The moment was nothing short of surreal, filled with an intense, unbridled happiness -it was the best feeling I've ever had.
World Class Kings Magazine: What does the stole (sash) symbolizes or means to you?
The sash symbolizes glory and beauty to me. It represents authority and power. I have the authority to make a change and the power to empower future generations.
World Class Kings Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a King?
Being a king isn't just about wearing a crown or sitting on a throne. It’s about cultivating a profound sense of self-mastery. It's the ability to govern your thoughts, actions, and life with intention, resilience, and integrity. A king is defined not by external measures, but by the strength of his character and the positive impact of his actions.
World Class Kings Magazine: Any Modeling, Film, acting or music experience you would like to share?
I was invited to share my cultural fashion attire on a global stage at the Las Vegas Kids Multicultural Fashion Festival. And it was a humbling experienced.
World Class Kings Magazine: What are your plans for 2025 as a King?
My goal as king is to continue my charitable work, embody and promote the values of empowerment, leadership, and positive representation of my heritage worldwide. This includes serving as an inspirational role model, advocating for important social causes, and using the platform to create positive change and inspire others to dream big.
World Class Kings Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
When I think of what I want to be remembered for, I am drawn to values, impact, and the connections I make with others. I want to be remembered for my kindness, for showing up, for giving second chances, for acknowledging my own limitations, and for loving selflessly. If that is not it, then I have failed horribly.
World Class Kings Magazine would like to say thank you for this wonderful interview.
