My full name is Graciëlla Scholtes, but I am also known by my stage name Miisz Gracie. I was born and raised in Holland. I am half Indian and half Dutch. My father is Dutch and my mother is from India.

I am known in Holland as a singer which is my main act. I have released 5 singles & music videos. I am also a songwriter, a model and an actress.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?

To me women empowerment is a woman who is not afraid, who believes in herself and doesn't back down from a challenge. She is focusing on the strong bond between us women rather than seeing each other as a competition. Encouraging, helping and supporting one another is creating this strong connection that will also inspire and strengthen you as an individual. We should build each other up and not bring each other down.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

I was always interested in pageants and it was especially my mother's wish that I would be a miss someday! I wasn't really experienced in this pageant world until I got scouted by my national director Rochelle Minkhorst in 2019. She asked me if I was interested in participating in pageants and she started to guide me. Shortly after i decided to participate at her national pageant Miss Limburg international the Netherlands which is organized by my national director Rochelle Minkhorst, catwalk coach & choreographer Marvin

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

My mother definitely inspired me, cause it really was her wish for a long time for me to participate in different pageants and to wear a crown someday!

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

I love to accept chances that come upon my path, I also love to have a lot of new beautiful experiences in my life and I love to meet new beautiful ladies all around the world who are very sweet and friendly to me all of the time!

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Freedom for all the ladies & freedom for all the people around the world!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

This competition had a duration of two weeks which was hosted in the beautiful country Kosovo and we had a full program every day. They watch your every step like how you present yourself, how you dress, if you're on time every day, if you keep your social media up to date and if you get along very well with the other misses that are also competing during this competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

My pageant journey for the international pageant Miss freedom of the world 2021 was hosted in Kosovo. I had an amazing experience. Let me explain how we spent the days during the participation for the international pageant Miss freedom of the world. We always had a very lovely and busy day and evening schedule. Like preparing for the final night, going out, visiting sponsors from the Miss Freedom of the world and visiting beautiful touristic places like Pristina and Prizren. We also did a lot of photo and video shoots at famous spots in Kosovo in our bikini and national costume. We also had to give a personal interview to the judges. That is called a pre judging and we also needed to prepare for the talent round which was broadcasted on National Television in Kosovo. I had the chance to show my talent round which is singing and to do an interview in this famous TV show in Kosovo called the N'Kosove Show

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause you volunteer for.

In 2019 I decided to start a charity to contribute, so I collected a lot of toys together and got support from another charity (Ghana over de IJssel) who eventually sent the toys out to Ghana for the children that have less.

In 2020 I wanted to support the people in Suriname which were going through a hard time with the lockdown affects during that time, so I decided to collect together with the people where i live (Zoetermeer) a lot of boxes paracetamol as they are very expensive in Suriname and handed it over to the charity in Holland called sewa4SU & lotus group NL who sent it out to Suriname!

In 2021 I got involved with another charity which is called Delft on the move which I also wanted to support and work with and again I started together with the people where I live (Zoetermeer which is a city in Holland) to collect a lot of clothes for the people in Suriname that has less!

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have been featured in many different international magazines around the world, many media channels and newspapers. I did photoshoots & video shoots as well.

I Have been the covergirl for an Indian Magazine and I have been the covergirl for a Magazine from the United states as well. Which Michael Jackson has been on this cover also before (the magazine from the United States) as well as many other famous stars

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

First of all I want to say that each and every girl is beautiful and unique in their own way. I probably stand out in this competition, because I was on time everyday and very disciplined.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

I was very surprised when they called out my name. It really made my day. I was so happy I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day! It finally felt that all of my hard work which I worked on together for months with my national director was rewarded that day!

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

To me being a Beauty Queen is also having a responsibility of being an inspiration for the bigger public especially for the new generation girls that are looking up to their role model and dreaming of a same career and that's why we should educate and teach them to be intelligent, selfless, a fantastic orator and to exudes confidence who carries herself with poise, cause that's what it means to be a Beauty Queen to me and that’s also exactly how you will describe a woman. Every woman, irrespective of country, race or colour, is special in her own little way, because within a woman resides the power to create, nurture and transform.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants help your life?

It was always my dream to become a miss someday and I like to be seen as a multifunctional artist. It helped me that I got more experience on the stage and got more opportunities in the model world as well.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants help your self esteem and body image?

Before I participated into the pageant world I already was experienced doing modelling jobs and I already released two music videos and music singles and at that time I just recently finished my single release party from my second single playdoll in 2019, so being on the stage wasn't new for me of course, but it really helped me, cause being a singer or a miss are totally two different worlds, so I learned the difference between being an artist/singer or being a miss and participating many times in national and international pageants helped me a lot by controlling my nervousness on the stage.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

It's an honor for me to know that people see me as a role model or an inspiration, cause then I certainly know that I have delivered a good job which makes me also feel very proud and makes me feel very grateful. My message is to them: You only live once, so do whatever makes you feel happy inside, never give up on your dreams, work hard and you will eventually be rewarded and don’t let small minds convince you that your dreams are too big!

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

To be honest, I don't have a strategy prepared in my mind to win the judges over. The only thing that I can do is to give everything that I have and to work really hard, keep smiling, being elegant, being friendly, being happy and to shine like a star on the stage and to enjoy every beautiful moment of it, so for me everything goes with a lot of spontaneity and very natural! World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

I prepared together with my national director Rochelle Minkhorst and catwalk coach & choreographer Marvin. We have made an introduction video for my title Miss freedom of the world the Netherlands 2021 to give a great impression of myself and to give a glimpse about my beautiful country where I live which is the Netherlands. I did a lot of catwalk training every week with my catwalk coach Marvin. I also went weekly to the fitness school to keep my body in shape. We also chose together the clothes that I had to wear during the competition!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

You have to train weekly on high heels with your national director and catwalk coach to keep yourself updated and you have to keep training until you have corrected all your flaws. You can always keep learning and do better of course!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?

I mostly chose the right dress together with my national director as she guided me through this whole journey. Personally I always like to stand out with a unique pageant dress and I especially prefer the big gown dresses!

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning an interview?

You have to present yourself professionally. Update all your social media daily and clearly present yourself at social media that you are a Miss and promote yourself as much as you can, so that people will be more likely to take you seriously to approach you for amazing interviews!

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

Accidentally standing on my gown dress during the pageant final night show!

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

It's not up to me to judge the girls by mistakes. I would rather leave it up to the judges from this competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

My modelling career started with posing for different companies. The most famous brand I was able to pose for was Sapph lingerie. I am also very lucky to have a famous modelling picture that has more than 500 publications worldwide like magazine's, billboards, flyers, t-shirts, books, items, make up packages, bags, books, cd covers, websites and it got even spotted in tv shows and on a motor! Thereby I've also been very lucky to have been the covergirl for many reputed magazines all around the world!

I had the chance to act in an Indian movie in Holland and i also had the chance to act with the famous Bollywood actor Monjoy Mukerji in an Indian TV show called Aye Dile Nadaan which makes me have a connection with Bollywood as well. I also acted in a lot of different music videos in Holland.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?

I would definitely love to participate in more beauty pageants and I would love to represent my country the Netherlands at more international pageants as well. Of Course i also love to continue being involved in different charities as I supported a lot before!

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I want not only people to remember me as a singer, miss, model and actress, but most importantly as a strong, confident woman who never gave up on her dreams. When people are looking back at my work I want them to be inspired and most of all get motivated, driven and encouraged enough to step out of their comfort zone to achieve their goals in life and don't let anyone stop you from making it happen, no matter how big they are, cause only you know inside what you are capable of.
