World Class Queens of England: Please tell us about yourself.

I have been working as a UK Model since the age of 13. This is an industry I’m very passionate about and enjoy working in. Alongside modelling I am trained Beauty Therapist and have advanced by specializing in skincare. Beauty has always worked perfectly alongside modelling. Family is also a big part of my life, I am 1 of 5 children and have recently become an auntie!

World Class Queens of England: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Women empowerment means supporting other women and cheering each other’s successes. Using our voices to speak up about projects that enable women equality and rights. Such as the ‘bloody good period’ charity that I support, which fights for free access to sanitary products for refugees, asylum seekers & those who can’t afford them.

World Class Queens of England: Tell us about your pageant history.

My first pageant was Miss Teen Great Britain in 2015, from here I went to Face of the world and was awarded the UK title and went to the final of Face of the world where I was first runner up. After this i went to Supermodel England and won Top model of England and went to compete at Top model of the world where I placed in the top 15. From here I went and competed in the UK power pageant where I placed the top 15 and Miss Intercontinental where I won Miss Intercontinental England 2019. I will now represent England at Miss Intercontinental.

World Class Queens of England: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

My mum was my inspiration to do pageantry as she competed when she was young. I’ve always done charity walk and catwalk modelling so pageantry allowed me to do both together.

World Class Queens of England: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Miss Intercontinental has been a title I have wanted for 4 years. Their message is power of beauty which strives women to be their best and gain self confidence. This is a message I strongly believe in. I also have experience with the world beauty organisation and enjoyed the experience so much I had to try and go back.

World Class Queens of England: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Miss Intercontinental is a prestigious pageant it is held over 3 weeks with 83 women from around the world. Their message is power of beauty and help women grow self confidence and to be their best.

World Class Queens of England: What are you being judged on during the competition?

During my time in Egypt at Miss intercontinental I will be judged on swimwear, evening and interview round.

World Class Queens of England: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

During the UK final of Miss Intercontinental UK I had such an amazing time. It was held over 2 days this was consisted of afternoon tea and an empowerment session. The rehearsals, interview and the live final. I made new friends and of course came away with my dream title.

World Class Queens of England: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

My platform is within women’s health, I am supporting the Bloody Good Period charity as Miss Intercontinental England. This is something that I’m passionate about as the organisation are fighting for free access to sanitary products all around the UK. Enabling health clinics to provide products to women.

World Class Queens England: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have been a title holder for 2 months, during this time I have been preparing hard for the internationals in the beginning of December. I have supported the McMillan charity on a leg waxing money fundraiser, charity photo shoots, modelling work, and raising awareness of the organisations I am supporting for.

World Class Queens of England: What are some of your achievements?

My main achievement of course is winning my dream title of Miss Intercontinental England 2019. However this year my main goal was to sign with a big modelling agency and that happened!

World Class Queens of England: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

During the UK final I was the only blonde haired girl competing which of course made me visibly different. However I believe I hold myself well and I am friendly to everyone I meet. I get the best from every experience I encounter.

World Class Queens of England: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

I was shocked and burst into tears I was so happy that my hard worked had paid off and my dream had come true.

World Class Queens of England: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

To hold this title comes with great honour and sense of achievement. It shows dedication and commitment pays off and I can use my title to support and raise awareness of the things that are important to me.

World Class Queens of England: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

Pageantry has allowed me to make modelling my career. I have been booked for more work through this recognition and has allowed me to work with new companies. I have met so many people from pageants and made so many friends because of this.

World Class Queens of England: How did pageants helped your self esteem and body image?

Pageants cheer all women regardless of body size or shape and that is so empowering. It’s allowed me to feel comfortable and confident and I believe in myself.

World Class Queens of England: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

I am so great full whenever someone recognises the work and efforts I put in to make a difference. My motto in life is if you believe you can achieve and I hope all girls take this with them.

World Class Queens of England: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

Be yourself and enjoy every moment! Judges like to see someone having fun and loving every minute of what they are doing.

World Class Queens of England: How did you prepare for your competition?

For the UK final I raised money for their chosen charity women’s aid along with making appearances around my local community with my finalist sash. I attended coaching sessions with the coaching academy and practiced a lot.

World Class Queens of England: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Practice makes perfect. I always practice in all of my outfits before competing in them, I’m constantly practicing my walk. Whether it be at home or walking the dog!

World Class Queens of England: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

What ever you feel comfortable in, there is nothing worse than a girl who can’t walk in her dress. I wouldn’t choose a dress because everyone is going for that designer I would choose it because it’s flattering and you can move in it. Choose something that shows the best you.

World Class Queens of England: What are your tips for winning interview?

Again for interview be yourself, it’s a chance to show the judges another side of you that they won’t see on stage. To express your efforts and the work you’ve been doing in the lead up to the final.

World Class Queens of England: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

Allowed nerves to get the better of me in interview round. I have had a lot of personal coaching on my self and finding what works for me to allow myself to feel calm and comfortable. This allowed me to feel at ease in my interview at Miss Intercontinental UK.

World Class Queens of England: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

Little mistakes can be made here and there it’s how they are handled which makes the difference. All the best catwalk models have a trip from time to time, dust yourself off and smile onwards.

World Class Queens of England: Any modelling or acting experience?

I have been modelling since the age of 13 and this is something I absolutely love and still pursue into my 20’s.

World Class Queens of England: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?

After internationals and Christmas I am going to meet with the organisations I am supporting and start fundraising events for them! I plan to raise as much awareness and attend as many pageants events as I can!

World Class Queens of England: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I would like people to chase their dreams as I have and if that’s the only thing girls remember from me being a queen I will be happy!
