1980, I signed a contract with Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) and became the first full time artiste in Singapore.
1989, I participated in Hongkong Miss Asia pageant
1989, Signed a contract as an artiste with Hong Kong Asian Television Limited (ATV)
1993-1997, Asia Tour Singing performance
2000-2007, Mainland China filming for TV dramas
2008-2019, return to Singapore and participated in TV series, movies, stage play, singing, beauty pageants.

1989, I participated in Hongkong Miss Asia Beauty Pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
It was for me to gain an opportunity to learn about my strength and weakness, something new for me to learn and explore.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I have prepared hard and well for this pageant and I am ready with all that it takes to be with Mrs Elite Singapore Asean.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Apart from physical beauty, inner beauty and intellectual are part of the criteria. Being Confidence, self esteem and personality plays a part too.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
On personality, the way I presented myself, communication skills, my values and the Wow factor during the talent show.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
Learning and experience that No matter how good you think you are, there is always someone out there that is better. It is useless to blow own's trumpet and see this world with one's superficial thought. Happy and Joyous.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
Bringing confidence to another level to more women. As we age, who would have thought of joining a beauty pageant after marriage? Me, being a role model shows that Age doesn't matters. What matters is you strive to success, building your own self confidence, bringing out our inner self and achieve things we never thought we could.

appeared in events where media is involved, to strive for more women from different age groups to participate in the events, so they can be more confidence and build up their self esteem, releasing their inner self and talent.

I have always aspired to win in a beauty pageant. It was like a dream come true! I compose myself and greeted the audience that were cheering. I was elated!
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
Coming from diverse backgrounds, Beauty queens are not only beautiful people with great body, we must have the heart and soul for the people, as we are given a platform where we can enact changes & support our causes.

More work opportunities which helps in my career.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self esteem and body image?
To reach out for greatness, pushing myself and exploring what I could do. It makes me love myself more & bringing out my charismatic side of me.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It gives me more confidence, and of course, I will pass on the message that- at any age, you can be your own beauty queen! Do not have any regrets in life!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Body language is a compulsory , therefore the way you carry yourself like eating, sitting, talking is something you need to brush up on.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Choosing something that you are comfortable in, something you will feel beautiful and confident when wearing, it will bring out your poise, elegance in a matter of second!

Oppotunity is for those who are prepared.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
Fitness, beauty regimen, costume alteration,diet, charity performance.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I was nervous when I was holding on the sponsor card that I move out earlier, I was supposed to walk off the stage together with another contestant at the same time.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
No mistakes, everything went well and was perfect for them.

Acting experiences. Filming and television productions and stage performances.

As a beauty queen, to take care and guide the future beauty contestants.

To do my part for the beauty pageant, with my dedication and hard work, I hope that the any assigned tasks for me can be completed with perfection. Never let go of your dreams, Strive for what you believe in, at any age.
