Dislikes: Hats World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?

Women Empowerment means to me that one is able to express themselves. It includes educating all women and girls about living financially, safe and healthy lives. It means that I have a voice and a platform to help other women and girls.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

I started pageants when I was 7 years old. I have won many crowns. I have had the privilege to represent the State of Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee. I have competed in several different pageant systems and won a title for each one. I love representing an organization that respects me and my platform. I am a queen, now and forever. I love pageant and will still work the pageant circuit.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Cadence: I fell in love with the environment, sisterhood and fashion. Having fun and being a part of different groups teaches me to understand others. The atmosphere is amazing because of the lights making everyone look bright and beautiful. I love seeing the different types of clothing that represents the person wearing them.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

My current title represents me and my family. It represents the cultures that run through my bloodline. I have many cultures and ethnicities. I am Trinidadian, Native American(Choctaw), Sweden, Nigerian, Cameroonian, Congolian, Benin, Togo, Scottish, England, European, Wales, Mexican Yucatan Maya, Finlin, Malian, Ivory Coastian, Ghanaian, Senegalian, Italian & Puerto Rican.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Miss and Mrs. America Nation is designed to inspire, create equality & integrity towards men and women. We promote culture & global service to better humanity from ages: 5-70.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Beauty, poise and community service are the categories. The competition also focuses on Cultural Attire, Beauty Attire, Fitness Attire and Community Service/ Volunteer Experiences.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

I love the experience of modeling on the runway and the community service. The runway seems long at first, but you start to get used to it. It was a great experience.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause you volunteer for.

My platform is providing to underprivileged children and families. I love to share and give back to those in need. Helping the underprivileged and helping other children in my community allowed me to provide services, such as feeding the less fortunate, making donations(monetary, clothes, school supplies, diapers and toys) and raising awareness of disorders and diseases(Breast Cancer, Lupus, Autism and etc.). I also volunteer at the church thrift store. As a Principal Scholar at my school, I strive to help young ladies via mentoring and education. I am always ready to give a hand in service.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have done several appearances, such as providing food and toys to children and families for the holiday season. I have met with politicians and supported small businesses in the community.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

I am currently a Principal Scholar (all A’s honor), Outstanding citizen with Perfect attendance at school. My cheer team won second place at our state competition. I continue to compete in pageants and win Supreme titles. I am currently published digitally in 3 online magazines and waiting for 1 more publication.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

I like to look the judges right in their eyes and continue to practice my walks and routines. It is important to practice often.

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

My smile makes me stand out. I have also won medals and gifts for having prettiest hair and smiling. I continue to win for best personality.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

When I won, I didn’t know they called my name. It was so exciting. They had to call my name again. I enjoyed getting my sash and crown and immediately felt like a Queen.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

It means I am perfect in my own way and not letting others compromise my thoughts. I love to help others and use my platform to do it. Being a Beauty Queen is important to my life because of the impact I can have on my community.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants help your life?

It helps my confidence and how I carry myself throughout the day. I am gaining a stronger voice.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants help your self esteem and body image?

Pageants are the best for my self esteem. When I put on a pretty dress and see the lights, prizes and crowns, I get extremely happy. When I look at my pictures sometimes, I can’t believe it’s me. My confidence goes through the roof.

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

Awesome!!! LOL!! I love showing others girls they can be just like me. I want them to feel comfortable talking to me about pageants.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walks?

Standing up straight and using pretty feet is the best way to start a great pageant walk. I always say practice, practice and more practice.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?

I like to choose the dress that is perfect for my skin tone and body. I also want a dress that will make my eyes pop.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning an interview?

Remember to speak loud and clearly with great eye contact. I feel you also need to practice what you are going to say when the judges ask you questions.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

I prepare for competition by practicing before the event. I also like to get pumped up before every outfit change.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've made during competing that you wish you could redo and fix?

One mistake I have done is not looking at the judges. I had my head down. I now look up and focus on the judges.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

Sometimes their spins are off balance. Oftentimes they need to watch their steps and try not to fall off the stage.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I have modeled for an entire fashion show with 8 distributors/brands including Wal-Mart. I have also done print modeling and ad campaigns, as well as magazine layouts.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2021 as a Queen?

I will continue to use my platform to help those in need and show other little girls this is possible for them. Helping people is my calling.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

Love, Beauty and Loyalty: This represents me and I will continue to care it with confidence.
