World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Mrs India International Queen is the biggest, best, and registered beauty pageant for all married women across the globe with a motto of “Be Strong, Be Confident, Be You”. We believe in empowering women and promoting Indian cultural heritage. It is an organization built to create role models for the world with a sole mission to create and contribute to the society. It is a platform having ample opportunities and an international exposure for all the married ladies across the globe. A platform to showcase their talent and live their dreams. A platform to inspire others and creating own identity. We believe that every woman is unique and beautiful in her own way. The pageant has no limitations for an aspiring and deserving candidate.
The pageant is divided into two categories – Mrs. Category (Age 21- 39 years) & Classic Mrs. Category (Age 40 years & above). The contestants go through a strict process of training and evaluation for 3 days that comprises of Introduction, Interview, Talent, Ramp Walk, Question and Answer rounds evaluated by highly esteemed judges.
All the contestants are provided Catwalk, Self Defence, Beauty & Wellness training and grooming sessions, professional makeup, and professional photo shoots and video shoots by industry experts.
Every year the Grand Finale is organised in a Five-star hotel and is graced by celebrities followed by huge national and international media coverage. Also, Kanshi TV from United Kingdom telecast the Grand Finale of Mrs India International Queen which is again a great opportunity for all the contestants.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what inspired you to start your system?
My journey after winning Mrs India in 2017 and representing India on a global platform in Mrs International Global 2018 in Malaysia among participants from 20 different countries and winning there as a 3rd Runner Up inspired me to start Mrs India International Queen as after winning I got lots of opportunities, love, honour, and respect from the society. I was a completely new person. I was treated like a celebrity, got a new identity and I wanted to give the same love which I got from the society to every woman.
I feel every woman deserves to be respected, valued and loved for her uniqueness, and she needs to be appreciated and recognised for her talents, especially after marriage, so the idea of Mrs India International Queen, a genuine and fair platform which should be an opportunity for every woman to rise and shine, came in my mind. This is the only international pageant in India offering 3.5 Lac Indian Rupees prize money to the winners, having the best industry experts to train the ladies, celebrities, and extensive national and international media coverage. We do have self-defence training session in the pageant and the show is telecasted in United Kingdom and other international countries.
We make sure the world knows our Queens. We create women into Queens and our Queens are graceful, talented, strong, confident, smart, and they inspire everyone.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us the founding story of the system.
The journey to start the pageant has not been an easy one. I worked day and night to create the best platform. As they say success does not come overnight and for me there is no substitute of hard work. I took business trainings from London UK, then I started the concept of creating the website.
About the brand name, I always knew it should be ‘Mrs India International Queen’ and it took me 7 months to decide the motto of the pageant “Be Strong, Be Confident, Be You!!!” which should be inspiring and representing every woman’s mantra to success. So, I am in love with the motto of our pageant. Also, before starting the pageant I was in dilemma that should there be one more pageant or not, and in that process, I read the holy book Bhagwat Geeta and got my answers, the world needs a genuine and fair platform with great opportunities. So, we started with Mrs India International Queen. I hired a team in India to create and design Mrs India International Queen’s website. The content of the website is written by me. I wanted everything to be perfect, so I check every detail meticulously. Since the launch of Mrs India International Queen, we got amazing response from the people. The team has worked very hard to make this pageant a great success.
Since the day pageant started, I don’t remember a single day I took off, but I love my work and I am so happy. We are glad we started this pageant, and it has been a life transformation journey for many women so far. It truly satisfies me and gives me immense happiness.
World Class Beauty Queens: What was the vision and the goal in the beginning while creating your pageant.
My vision is to create a fair and genuine international platform in India. It should be inspiring and empowering for every woman.
Success comes to those who work hard and believe in the beauty of their dreams. You can achieve anything in life if you are strong, if you are confident and if you believe in yourself.
According to me, the pageant journey is a life changing opportunity for all women. This journey helps them realize their true potential.
It helps them gain self-confidence, raises their self- esteem.
It makes them more poised and presentable.
It helps them in personality development, and in improving their public speaking skills.
It helps them discover their strengths and makes them more focused.
It helps them to make more friends, discover the beauty of different cultures and traditions, and to promote societal connections.
It helps them make their voice heard to millions of people.
It helps them in achieving a good health.
It is not about the Sash and Crown; it is about the beauty of potential and possibility which makes a woman A QUEEN!!!
My goal was to create the best platform for women, and we did achieve that. So far, Mrs India International Queen have been published in more than 100 digital and print media national and international platforms. I would say all the hard work was fruitful. When winners come and share their experiences and journey after winning the crown that how beautifully their life has changed after becoming a Queen. That is what defines, the effort we took was worth it. We are glad that we did good for the society, and we promise to continue to do so.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am a hardworking, dedicated, and a talented person who believes that a world is a beautiful place to live in, if you have a positive attitude towards life. I love my family and my work. I did my engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation and then MBA in Human Resources. I was always a bright and loving student in my school and college. I loved to make my parents proud. My mother has always taught me real values in life, and I feel this has made me a better person today. I have been married to a wonderful, loving and patient man who has been the love of my life. He supports me immensely in achieving my dreams. I would say my husband has been a pillar of my strength.
Helping people makes me happy and I am proud of myself, and I really want every woman to feel that way. I strongly believe in God and Karma. I believe whatever you put into the universe, comes back to you. So, I love spreading happiness and positivity.

I did my engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation and then MBA in Human Resources.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
I believe every woman has immense capabilities and potential beyond her imagination. All she need is a chance to prove herself and live her dreams. Women should be given equal rights and opportunities and values in every field. To me empowering women is embracing womanhood. When we women support each other and help each other in making lives better on this earth, this is the real women empowerment to me. Women need to be loved and appreciated for their uniqueness and their existence in the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your personal pageant history.
I started my journey in the field of beauty pageant in the year 2016. I participated in Mrs India and won a subtitle ‘Mrs India Elegant 2017’. This experience made me realise my true potential and gave me a way to achieve my dreams and attain success. I have worked hard, learned new skills, trained, and prepared myself to the best of my abilities, and participated in another Mrs India 2017, and became a Winner of Mrs India 2017. This national platform gave me a golden opportunity to represent my country ‘INDIA’ on an international platform in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia among participants from 20 different countries. I had participated with all my heart & soul and won ‘Mrs International Global 2018 3rd Runner Up’. The pageant journey has been a life changing experience for me. It gave me name, fame, success, love, respect, and recognition in the society. This journey made my beliefs stronger, that nothing can come in the way of your dreams if you are dedicated and committed to achieving them.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I love to learn and experience new things. I always look for opportunities to learn, grow and become better in life. I saw an advertisement on Facebook about Mrs India in 2016. I checked the website; it was lovely to know that there is a beauty pageant for married women as well. So, I applied and went to give the audition.
I prepared well according to the instructions given in the mail and gave my best in the audition. I patiently waited for the result. And it took weeks to get the result and to know that I got selected to compete in Mrs India, so my quest to experience a new life and learn new things made me participate in my first pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: Over the years what Country, state or city the competition took place and why?
Mrs India International Queen is the only International Pageant in India where the contestants have participated from India, Canada, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. The Grand Finale of Mrs India International Queen took place in Delhi India in a luxurious five-star hotel. So far, we have conducted auditions and Grand Finale in different cities in India. Some of the venues are Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi, Crowne Plaza Delhi, Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar Delhi, Radisson Blu Kaushambi, Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, Hyatt MG Road Bangalore, The Park Hotel Juhu Mumbai.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what was special about each years competition.
I would say everything is special when we organize the Grand Finale of Mrs India International Queen. I travel from United Kingdom to India at least 3 months prior to the grand finale of Mrs India International Queen, to make sure everything goes perfectly and smoothly. We get the best of event production team, best choreographers, best photography team, best grooming and training sessions and of course the best venue and media PR team. It takes days and nights of hard work to make the event a great & grand success. Also, I would like to add that the contestants we select are very competitive and amazing.
World Class Beauty Queens: What cultural significance has your pageant?
We are promoting Indian Cultural Heritage at Mrs India International Queen as India is a land of diverse culture. We encourage contestants to promote different cultural outfit in the traditional wear round on the grand stage of Mrs India International Queen. Contestants love to showcase their traditional wear outfit along with traditional jewelry and create awareness. Also, in the talent round contestants are free to perform any talent for 90 seconds and many of them love to perform their native dance or singing, which is encouraging and entertaining. Apart from this, we do not have any swim wear round in the pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: How long hours/days is the competition.
The competition is organized for 3 nights and 4 days in a 5-star luxury hotel in Delhi. There are different rounds like Introduction round, Talent round, Interview round, Evening Wear round, Traditional wear round and Question answers round followed by press conference on the 4th day. The schedule is decided according to the choreographer which includes all the above-mentioned rounds along with various training and grooming sessions by the industry experts. The contestants start their day with professional makeup and Hair done by Lakme Academy, our makeup sponsor then followed by various training and grooming sessions like catwalk training, beauty and wellness training and self-defence training sessions along with professional photoshoots and video shoots throughout all the 4 days.
World Class Beauty Queens: Are contestants taken on any sight seeing during the competition?
No, we are so packed with schedule we did not get time for any sight-seeing during the competition.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are the competitors being judged on during the competition?
There are different rounds in competition like Introduction round, Talent round, Interview round, Evening wear Round, Traditional wear round and Question answers round on which the contestants are being judged in the grand finale. Apart from the above rounds the contestants are judged on many things and to name a few I would say their confidence, behaviour, attitude, poised, presentation, punctuality, how they carry themselves and a positive mindset, I believe how far you will go in life totally depends on your positive attitude and right mindset. You only achieve your goals when you are consciously committed to them.
World Class Beauty Queens: How do you select your judges and who are they?
Being the Director of Mrs India International Queen, I always select the judges who are well accomplished in their field and are very talented. Till today we have had Mr. Rohit Khandelwal- Mr. World 2016, Miss Adeline Castelino- Miss Universe 2020 3rd Runner Up, Miss Suman Rao- Miss World 2nd Runner Up 2019, Miss World Asia 2019, Mrs. Manju Upadhyay- Winner of Classic Mrs India International Queen 2020, Mrs. Amrit Kaur- Classic Mrs India International Queen 2020 2nd Runner Up Mrs. Pooja Gangyan- Mrs India International Queen 2020 1st Runner Up, Mrs. Sonali Sherry, Celebrity Makeup Artist and Mr. Tarun Choudhary- Director of Shiv Med Private Limited.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of experience can contestants expect during the competition?
I would say Mrs India International Queen is a life transformational journey for every woman. It is a complete personality development program. Once the contestants are there with us in the hotel for 4 days, we make sure that those days should be the best days of their life. They are treated like celebrities with professional makeups in the morning just after the breakfast and then shoots. They are completely occupied in training sessions and shoots and posing for the camera, smiling throughout the day, walking in heels. And then yes gearing up for next day. We provide them luxury stay and 3 times meal. There are so many valuable sessions throughout the day and of course the spirit of competing keeps them going. Most importantly all the selected finalists in the show are very empowering and positive about life, so there’s a lot to learn and make good friends throughout the pageant journey.
After the competition, we address all the winners as Queens, and they become the role model for everyone who wish to follow their dreams in life. They inspire everyone. People love, respect, adore and appreciate them and life bestows them with new opportunities.

Yes, after the pageant we organize Divine Activities with a motto of ‘Giving Back to Society’ and Queens take active participation in that. So far, we have conducted Divine activities in different states of India.

Mrs. Manju Upadhyay- Winner of Classic Mrs India International Queen 2020 has been invited to many awards shows and activities to judge various competitions and, she is approached by many brands to be their Brand Ambassador. She was invited in Nainital to share her experiences as a winner and was honoured among the huge audience. Mrs. Upaasana Kalia was approached by a brand to talk about their skin care products and was awarded in various women empowering platforms. Also, this year’s winners, Dr. Jyotsna Chadha after winning the crown, has been invited and honoured at various organizations and events and launched Next perfumes in Chandigarh, Mrs. Sharmistha Das Dey has been awarded and Felicitated by her organization, even her interview got broadcasted on Baroda Radio. All the winners get various opportunities in different fields depending upon their talent. We are so proud of all of them. They all are inspiring, motivating and role models for the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some fun events you've done with your Queens?
We conducted Talent Round late in the night because of the tight schedule and all of us had a dancing session at 4 AM in the morning after completing talent round, though all of us were exhausted but it was very enjoyable and fun loving. All the contestants and judges danced together and enjoyed a lot, that was memorable.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for your system in 2022 or 2023?
I always say that this is a platform to empower women and we will continue to do so. We are committed and dedicated to our work, and we promise to make it better every year by having more informative and acknowledging training and sessions in the pageant that would be beneficial for everyone in their life to attain success. I must say thanks to everyone for supporting us and giving us the amazing response and making the world a better place to live in.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind as the owner.
I believe in living a life of gratitude with a positive attitude, I am always committed to my work, roles and responsibilities and I want people to understand that life is not about what you get in life, it is your attitude towards it. I believe we never lose in life, either we win, or we learn.
If we appreciate what we get in life and move forward by appreciating what we have got, we will get everything in life. So, always believe in yourself, don’t compare yourself with others and just move forward in life by giving your best, and ultimately you will get the best in life. I believe we have one life we must make it best and worth living for ourselves and others. Also, never give up on your dreams, if you give up on your dreams no one else is going to do it for you.
