World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?
I am both strong and deeply emotional. Modeling and beauty pageants have always been my passion, but as a student of literature, my love for thinking and writing took the lead. Recently, I poured my heart and soul into writing a book titled "Whispers of the Heart," which has been published worldwide in eight languages.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?
I did my schooling and part of my college education in India, but I moved to the USA for further studies—a dramatic turning point in my academic journey. Adjusting to a new culture and facing numerous challenges, I gradually found my footing and embraced the many wonderful aspects of this beautiful country. I did my masters in English and master's in computer science. I am a business owner, and I work with Nu Skin anti-aging products.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?
To me, women's empowerment means enabling women to gain greater control over their lives, make independent choices, and actively drive meaningful social change.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
Three years ago, I decided to embrace the dreams I had cherished since childhood. With my children grown and my heart still full of dreams, I entered the world I had always admired. I started by submitting my photos and soon embarked on professional training in New York—a pivotal step in my journey back into the modeling industry. Under the guidance and mentorship of Shreyaa Sumi, the esteemed Founder and CEO of SSVJ Model Media, I gained confidence and momentum. My crowning moment as Mrs. Elite Asia USA Universe 2025 on this distinguished platform which gives me the opportunity to represent on a global scale was more than just earning a title—it symbolized the culmination of my dedication, resilience, and lifelong aspirations.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?
My personal life experiences have driven me to compete for this highly prestigious title. For me, it represents a significant honor, granting me a distinctive and respected position which also paves the path for me to represent on the global stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?
I competed for this title to amplify my advocacy for women's empowerment, showing that age doesn't limit potential. This role symbolizes hope, inspiring women to pursue their dreams at any stage in life. Being crowned as Mrs. Elite Asia USA Universe-2025 was a monumental achievement and an incredibly proud moment in my life. However, I believe this milestone is just the beginning. My vision extends far beyond personal success—I aim to make a profound impact on the world by supporting elderly individuals, helping children in need, aiding women who are overcoming trauma, empowering those battling cancer, and promoting health awareness.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?
The pageant system established by SSVJ Model Media, under the visionary leadership of its Founder and CEO Shreyaa Sumi, is a renowned platform committed to advancing diversity, inclusion, and women's empowerment. Shreyaa Sumi holds multiple licenses, enabling her to crown titleholders and guide them to excel in esteemed international stage competitions. Titleholders are given an exceptional opportunity to showcase their abilities and social advocacy on various global platforms. With her expert mentorship, participants are celebrated not only for their beauty but also for their dedication, abilities, and individuality. Based in Hollywood, Los Angeles, the platform is lauded for its prestigious reputation and inclusive atmosphere. It offers a unique and meaningful environment by welcoming women of various ages and marital statuses—a rare chance for someone like me, as most beauty pageants have age limits. Beyond the category for Mrs candidates, My system now provides exciting international opportunities for children, teens, and Miss category contestants as well, allowing them to proudly showcase their talents and achieve recognition on a global stage. These platforms open doors for growth, exposure, and the chance to make meaningful contributions in their respective fields.

My pageant director, Ceo & founder name is Shreyaa Sumi, she is a remarkable individual who previously earned the title of beauty queen within the esteemed Mrs. Universe pageant system and a renowned International Model. She brings invaluable support, insightful guidance, and unwavering encouragement to my journey, making every step more fulfilling and enjoyable. Her extensive expertise in modeling and pageantry is truly impressive, showcasing her deep understanding of the industry. As a multi-talented and versatile leader who effortlessly balances numerous responsibilities, Shreyaa stands out as a role model for women everywhere. She inspires those around her to push towards their full potential and discover ways to uplift and empower one another. Her presence is transformative, and I feel truly fortunate to have her mentorship.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?
We are evaluated based on several essential qualities that define our poise and overall personality. Appearance holds significant importance, as it reflects our ability to present ourselves with grace. Presentation skills showcase how confidently we carry ourselves and convey our uniqueness. Speaking skills are equally crucial, demonstrating our ability to communicate effectively and express our thoughts in a refined manner. Confidence serves as the foundation of the assessment, highlighting our self-assurance and composure in challenging situations. Lastly, politeness reveals our character, emphasizing respectful and gracious interactions with others. Combined, these attributes form a well-rounded evaluation of excellence.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?
When I was officially crowned as the titleholder, it felt like the entire world was mine, even if just for that fleeting moment. Emotion overwhelmed me, and I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. In the midst of that joy, my heart led me to the person who had been my unwavering source of support and inspiration—the one who had motivated me unconditionally throughout every step of this incredible journey.

I highly recommend my pageant system and the diverse opportunities provided by SSVJ Model Media LLC to individuals who value hard work and commitment. While participating in a pageant is undoubtedly an enjoyable experience, it also demands dedication and perseverance, making it ideal for those who are willing to embrace both the challenges and the rewards of this journey.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?
I am deeply passionate about raising awareness for women who continue to fight for their rights and strive for equality in society. As I mentioned earlier, I recently authored a book that centers on a woman's journey to fulfill her dreams despite facing numerous challenges. The story portrays how she navigates her responsibilities at home, overcomes obstacles imposed by her family, and ultimately achieves her aspirations. It is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of hope, serving as an inspiration for women everywhere.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?
Since being crowned, I have had the honor of receiving countless invitations to attend prestigious award ceremonies, participate in fashion shows, photoshoots, and appear in renowned magazines. Thanks to the esteemed opportunities provided by SSVJ Model Media, Founder & CEO Shreyaa Sumi. I was able to fulfill some of my biggest dreams—walking the runway at New York Fashion Week, being featured on the iconic Billboard New York Campaign, featured on the Getty images and gracing the covers of Elle Hollywood and Harper's Bazaar USA. Including this privilege of appearing in World Class Beauty Queens Magazine, an incredible milestone in my journey. I have also proudly published my own book as an Author, which is a reflection of my passion and dedication. This opportunity has allowed me to embrace my identity as an international model, proudly blending my diverse cultural heritage with my American citizenship. It symbolizes the strength of diversity and the meaningful connections we build that transcend barriers. Looking ahead, I am preparing to compete in an upcoming international pageant and participate in various international runway shows. This exciting journey continues to inspire me as I embrace new challenges and opportunities on a global stage.

As a proud titleholder of Mrs. Elite Asia USA Universe-2025, I have had the honor of having my work featured in numerous editorial magazines. In addition to my accomplishments in pageantry, I am an entrepreneur with my business, Nu Skin Anti-Aging Products, and the author of the book Whispers of the Heart.

To stand out in this competitive field, I want to emphasize the importance of maintaining fitness and beauty, as they are vital for both mental and physical well-being. I dedicate myself to staying fit and beautiful through hard work, and it has greatly enriched my overall quality of life. What truly sets me apart, however, is my authenticity. By staying true to myself, I radiate confidence and positivity, effortlessly making an impression without seeking external validation. I firmly believe that embracing one’s individuality is the cornerstone of inspiring others and leaving a meaningful, lasting impact.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
It was a truly surreal experience, as if I were living a dream. Standing there, crowned and adorned with my sash, I was filled with a profound sense of disbelief and immense gratitude. That moment was unforgettable, reaffirming my unwavering belief in the power of hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of my childhood dreams.

To me, a beauty queen represents confidence, charisma, and exceptional presentation skills—qualities that truly capture the essence of a queen. The SSVJ Model Media platform embraces these ideals, highlighting confidence and outstanding charisma. I firmly believe that genuine beauty lies in our ability to support and uplift one another as we navigate our personal journeys, fostering a sense of unity along the way.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
Yes, beauty pageants have had an incredibly positive impact on my life. They have given me a platform to express my thoughts and positivity to the world, enabling me to connect with people who truly value my message. These experiences have also unlocked amazing opportunities, such as being featured on magazine covers, opportunities to walk for international shows, and becoming an author of a book. Currently, I am preparing to compete in a global competition, which has been an immensely fulfilling and rewarding journey.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
Participating in this beauty pageant has been a transformative experience, significantly enhancing my self-esteem and positively shaping my body image. It’s incredibly uplifting when people compliment my fitness in my late 50s and express their admiration and aspiration to achieve similar results. Moments like these fill me with genuine happiness, reaffirming the importance of dedication and self-care.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
I find great fulfillment in being an inspiration to many. Beyond any title, my mission is to empower women through fitness, self-acceptance, and the confidence to embrace their true selves. My message is simple: be proud of who you are and show up for yourself. Prioritize actions that enrich your life, career, and future success. You don’t need to seek approval from others; focus on setting meaningful goals and pursuing what makes you thrive. Let your passion guide you and light your way forward.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
To stand out to a pageant judge, deliver your message with confidence, authenticity, and a compelling style that showcases your unique qualities with clarity and persuasion. Above all, stay true to yourself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
Practicing runway walk is my top priority, as it plays a vital role, and I dedicate myself to daily practice to refine it. I’ve also attended interview classes and included dancing and music in my routine to enhance my confidence. No matter where I go, I make sure to present myself impeccably. Equally important is proper professional makeup and polite mannerism, as it significantly contributes to the overall presence required in a beauty pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
Practice is essential, and I make it a priority to work on my walk every single day. Having been trained in New York, I firmly believe in the importance of professional walk training by a coach rather than depending on videos created by content creators. The expertise and precision that come from professional training are invaluable. Studying and learning from skilled professionals has greatly enhanced my movements, re-tune my routine and individuality to my overall presentation.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
Choosing the perfect dress for a beauty pageant is key. It needs to stand out, fit impeccably, and enhance the contestant's features, while reflecting their individuality and blending comfort with style. The perfect dress not only enhances confidence but also leaves a lasting impression on the judges and audience.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
During the interview round of a beauty pageant, maintaining a natural and poised appearance is key, accompanied by a radiant smile throughout. Staying calm and confident can help project an air of grace and charm, making a lasting impression on the judges.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
I’m genuinely satisfied with all the experiences I’ve had so far and wouldn’t change a thing.

Some common mistakes I notice contestants make include imitating what other title holders showcase on social media, which often compromises their authenticity. Staying true to one's unique style and personality always leaves a stronger impression. Additionally, comparing oneself to others only creates unnecessary stress and distracts from focusing on personal strengths. Every contestant represents a different age group, showcasing unique attributes shaped by their diverse backgrounds and life experiences, so embracing individuality is key to stand out during the competition.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
Yes, I have experience in both modeling and acting, and I have a deep fascination with Hollywood movies. As mentioned earlier, I trained with Skylar Modeling in New York, which has been an invaluable part of my journey. These experiences have helped me build confidence and refine the art of self-expression, enriching both my personal and professional growth.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
My plan is to become a voice for change in my late 50s, breaking barriers and advocating for greater representation across all age ranges in the modeling industry. I envision gracing international fashion shows and establishing a presence that defies conventional boundaries. Beyond my career, I am committed to being an advocate for women who have experienced trauma, helping them reclaim their strength and rebuild their lives. Moreover, I am deeply dedicated to supporting underprivileged elderly individuals, striving to bring compassion, care, and positive transformation to their lives. In the coming months, my only focus will be on preparing for a global pageant, it is my top priority at the moment.
