World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about yourself. I am American with a Cuban mother and a Puerto Rican father and I am the oldest from my siblings I have younger brother and a little sister. I'm currently a Sophomore in high school, I attend East Lee County High School. I just moved here to Lehigh Acres, I lived in Miami most of my life and this is a new and very different start for me. I love modeling, I love what it feels like to walk down that runway and be photographed. I enjoy on spare time to learn dances on tiktok it keeps me active and I find it entertaining.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does Women Empowerment mean to you? To me women empowerment is having the courage to speak up and go against societies’ gender stereotypes. I believe in the equality of all people and redefining the beauty and power of women.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about pageant history. I have been modeling since the age of 9. I competed at my first pageant in 2018 and I won the title Miss Jr South Florida after my one year reign I competed again and won Miss Perfect Glamour Intl Pre-teen 2019 after my reign I had decided I was going to take a break and focus more on modeling, but decided I wanted to compete in a pageant where I could represent and express my love for Cuba and I competed recently and now I am the reigning Senorita Teen Cuba 2020.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant? I am huge fan of Miss Universe; I watch it every year with my mom and I loved everything about, so I talked to my mom and after practicing and preparing myself I competed.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? I wanted to represent and be a voice for Cuba and express the love I have for the country and that’s why I competed for my current title.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? My pageant system focuses on the beautiful country of Cuba.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition? Your personality, whether your social and outgoing. I also think your responses to the on stage and interview questions are something the judges look forward to.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition. I think my experience during the competition was great, although we were going through a pandemic, we still managed to have rehearsal and I met these girls whom I am now friends with. I was honestly nervous about competing with several girls in such a competitive category, but I was determined and kept my mind positive.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for. My platform is Gun Awareness. At first, I was uneducated on the subject and after the incident at a school in Broward I did more research on Gun Awareness. Then in October of 2019 I lost a friend of mine at a Halloween party and I realized that I wanted to make a difference and made it my platform.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title? It's been 2 weeks or so since I was crowned and because of the pandemic we have not gone to any events or done any appearances, but I know there will be so many soon and I'm excited.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements? I consider the 3 titles that I hold is the biggest things I have achieved, because I have worked so hard and prepared myself to accomplish them.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? What stands me out from other girls would have to be my determination for success and how I confront every struggle in my life with my head held high and my mind positive.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. When I was on that stage I was positive but still nervous, and when they started calling out the runner ups and I didn’t hear my name I thanked god , and as soon as I heard my name I couldn’t hold in the tears of happiness I felt.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you competing in pageants help your life. Pageants have helped in my life by first opening me up, I was very shy and timid, I didn’t talk much but by talking publicly and meeting new people I became more social. Second, the pageant world has brought me so many connections and brought me close to so many people who are now very important to me.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? It honestly makes me feel happy and accomplished because knowing girls look up to me and that inspire them lets me know that I'm doing the right thing. I have a little sister at home and when I see her do something because I do it or dress some way because I dress that way it warms my heart.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over. Apart from preparing myself physically and mentally .I don’t really have a strategy but be myself and put all my effort.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition? I prepared myself for my competition by practicing several questions and by practicing my walk in all my different outfits. Another thing that helped me prepare was going to every rehearsal and repeating the steps when I get home.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning a better pageant walk? Some tips I can give are to extend your legs while you walk and move your hips and maintain a good posture.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dresses? Make sure the dress is comfortable for you to walk in and comfortable for you put on your own because there's times someone won't be there to help.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview? Have a good posture while sitting in front of the judges. Take a deep breath and process that question you're being asked. Keep eye contact with the judges, don’t look at your feet.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you’ve done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? I mistake I have made while competing would have to be my facial expressions while I walk, I don’t smile as much because of my braces and it makes my face look sad because my eyes are droopy.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? I have noticed that some girls don’t recognize that a gala dress is not supposed to be walked the same way you walk other outfits, you're supposed to walk slow and elegantly and taking wide turns so you don’t get caught in your dress.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experiences? I have done several runways since the age of 9 and have done photoshoots and been in catalogs or magazines for clothing lines.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2020 as a queen? My plans are to represent my country in other pageants and appearances we make. Also, to embrace Cuban culture to other people.

What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? I want to leave behind a legacy where everyone knows who I am, where my name is respected because I either made a difference in the world or because I made and impact in whatever I profess in.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine would like to say thank you for this wonderful interview.
