World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?

Outside of pageantry I’m a Primary school teacher. I'm also mix blooded!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?

I’m currently doing my PGDE and I also completed my double degree. It was tough but I succeeded.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?

To me, it means loving and accepting women of all ages and races.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?

I’ve always loved pageantry since young and my parents are very supportive. My mom was the one who signed me up for my very first pageant in 2023.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?

I always wanted to try out pageantry and to me my defining moment was bringing back crowns for Singapore!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?

I wanted to explore more and compete, to me honestly I loved the name of the title.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?

Lumiere international is a platform that allows women of all ages and races to compete it’s a stepping stone for many women out there.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?

My pageant director is very kind hearted and supportive I love her!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?

We are judged on our confidence, catwalk,makeup, gown and QnA.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?

It’s been a great journey and I’ve learnt alot throughout, I’ve also forged friendships with the pageant queens both locally and overseas.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?

Yes! It helps one to develop confidence and also build yourself up


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?

I’ve always loved kid and I do volunteer at the Children’s home when I have time. My family and I also donate monthly to feed kids and elderly in India and Philippines


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?

I’ve been involved in both local and overseas events. I’ve also been featured on Asia Samachar got being the first Sikh to win this title.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?

My achievements apart from pageantry is attaining my double degrees and being a school teacher.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?

I think my bubbly personality and confidence makes me stand out!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?

Honestly, I was shocked as I was aiming to get at least top 5 and I was really happy when I won! Surreal moment indeed.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?

To me, being a beauty queen means being humble, kind and caring for everyone around you. It also means being a role model to people around me. Never let fame or money change who you are.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?

It has made me a more confident people and made me realise how many people around look up to me and truly support me.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?

I feel it’s always important to keep up with your body image I go for pilates at least 4 times a week and monthly facials. Pilates helps me to not only tone my body but also build up my strength and stamina.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?

I’m truly honoured! I want everyone to always go and achieve your goals , never let anyone hold you back.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?

My strategy is to be myself! The judges will decide if you are truly authentic. On top of that be confident!!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?

Yes, I always practice my walks daily and ensure I nail my signature walk.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?

Practice and practice!!! It allows you to be more confident and ready for the stage.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?

To me, I always go with my signature red gown! I love to add a cape along as it allows me to bring out my favourite walk using a cape. I went with dark blue gown for my internationals and it was a game changer!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?

It’s important to keep up with the world news and events I believe being updated of things around us helps to win an interview. Be confident and educated.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?

I wish I could relive my international pageant again it was truly so fun and memorable!


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?

Not practicing their walk enough and choosing a gown that doesn’t compliment them.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?

Yes! I’ve done hosting shoots and I’m currently doing modelling for brands when I’m available.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?

My goals is to contribute and help out with lumiere as well as groom the next set of queens.


World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?

I hope to leave behind a legacy where I’m remembered for being a supportive, kind and caring queen. I always get dms of how girls look up to me and ask me about my experience and tips it’s honestly so sweet and I really hope to positively impact more women out there.
