World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I am going to be 9 years old in August. I love to watch movies, my favorite movie is Encanto. I have a little dog, she is a Maltipoo and her name is Estrella. I love my mom who is also my grandma, she takes care of me all the time. I like to play with my dad, we swim a lot in our pool in the summer. My aunt takes me shopping and we have girls night where we do facemasks and paint our nails. I have been modeling since I was 3 years old and I love it. I am starting to design my own clothes. I am also in dance classes, I take Ballet, Tap, Flamenco and Hip Hop.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your education.
I am in 3rd grade. I like to read in both English and Spanish. I enjoy playing math games, it helps me know my equations better. My teacher is super cool, she's my favorite teacher ever. Another teacher in school teaches us how to do crafts, I enjoy doing bracelets. Music class is really fun too!
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?
Helping each other as girls, being nice to each other, growing as teammates and building strong friendships.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
I started modeling when I was 3 years old. In 2016 was Mini Miss Latinita Albuquerque and then I won the title of Mini Miss Latinita New Mexico 2016. In 2021 I was Little Miss Latinita Central New Mexico and then won the title as Little Miss Latinita New Mexico 2021.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I really like to be on stage, I like to model, I like all the dresses and everything behind the scenes but I also want to inspire other girls to do everything that makes them feel pretty.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
Because I wanted to participate again but with the big girls in another category and prove myself that I can do more.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Miss Latinita New Mexico is an organization that helps girls of a Hispanic background have a platform to grow and have an amazing experience in the pageant world.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Our personality, how we talk, how charismatic we are and our outfits.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
At the beginning I was nervous but making friends during the competition made it way better and now I get to hang out with some of the girls, and it's a lot of fun.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause you volunteer for.
Anti-Bullying and creating a respectful environment for kids.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
Hispanic Heritage Month, La Catrina Fashion show, Land of Enchantment Family Film and Fashion Festival, Wedding EXPO, commercials, parades and modeling.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
I believe in myself now and I am not shy anymore.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
I was confident and was being myself the whole time. I gave my best of me.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was in shock but very happy that I won. I was ready to celebrate with my family.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
To inspire other girls to follow their dreams and be a good example to the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
I have become more confident and I am not afraid of being on stage anymore
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants help your self-esteem and body image?
I think every girl should love themselves for what they are.
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It makes me feel happy because all I want is for other girls to achieve their goals too, just like I have.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over?
Be myself!
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I practiced how to model and what to say on stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
I took classes and watched a lot of videos of good examples.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?
My grandma and aunt help me with that, I like big and sparkly dresses.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning an interview?
Talk from your heart.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
One time I said the wrong thing because I was nervous at the beginning.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Forgetting their cues and lines.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
Yes, for both. I have been modeling since I was 3 years old, I have taken classes and have been in numerous fashion shows. I have also done acting; I have done commercials and I am a Youth Ambassador with the Land of Enchantment Family Film and Fashion Festival.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?
Keep being as good as I can with my title and set a good example, be part of other shows, keep modeling, keep growing my social media presence and inspire other girls to participate.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
I want to set the example of being one self to achieve any dream, because everything is possible if you work for it and give the best of yourself.
