Queen Corazon Ugalde Yellen Armenta was born and raised in the Philippines, the youngest daughter of former Philippine Air Force Brigadier General Aurelio Ugalde and Chony Ugalde. Her name “Corazon” means “Heart” in Spanish, a name that fits her persona to a T. Her heritage is a unique blend of Filipino, Malaysian, Polynesian and Spanish. Her exotic look and extraordinary talent put her in a class of her own. Growing up in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines, she was proving to be a natural entertainer, performing in school dances and plays while accumulating titles throughout her formative years from Miss Primary to Homecoming Queen. Corazon continued her academics by graduating from Siena College to University of Santo Thomas. At the age of 13, she started modeling. Corazon appeared in print advertising and TV commercials for Pepsi Cola, Firestone Tires, Macy’s Department Store, King’s Hawaiian Bread, Western Airlines and San Miguel Beer. In addition, she has become an internationally published Cover Girl who has graced the Covers of 35 magazines - World Class Beauty Queens, World Class American Royalty, WC Queens of Asia, World Class Paris Fashion, Fashionista, Elegance, Asian Glamour, Haute Couture, Studio, Aliwan, Asian Panorama, Asia Star, Regal Beauty, Pilipinas Ngayon Na, Chic Compass, Limelight, Manila Up, Hollywood Star in Paris, Celebrity World Paris, Magic Image Hollywood, Wow and I Magazine. Corazon commanded the runway for numerous Fashion Shows with International Fashion Designers - Kenneth Barlis, Paulette Mouquet, Diem Ngoc Nguyen, Goulee Gorozpe, Emil Valdes, Katrina Ponce Enrile, Baby de Claro, Rene Factora, Zassy Designs, Shail K, Ximena Valero, Marvin Bendana and Mary Jane Okida. During luncheons at The Excelsior Restaurant on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, she modeled designed ensembles for Yves St. Laurent, Gianni Versace and Celine. She has modeled in the Philippines, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, Puerto Rico, Mexico, France and Scandinavia. Corazon modeled for four International French Fashion Designers- Luxury ReadyLady Paris by Paulette Mouquet, Bintou Kimberley Assoni, Emeline K and Mem Clah Marque during the Fashion Show at The International Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, French Riviera in France! On October 4, 2021, she walked the runway, modeling for Fashion Designer Kenneth Barlis during the prestigious Paris Fashion Week at The Normandy Hotel in Paris, France. She wowed the audience with her elegance and grace! Corazon is a member of Screen Actors Guild, SAG/AFTRA. She had roles in several Films and TV projects – The OJ Simpson Civil Trial Reenactment for E! Entertainment, Days of our Lives, Dangerous Man, The Fortune Teller, Black Sheep, Behind the Dark, Botyok sa America and “Corazon” Filipino TV series. She starred in numerous stage plays and musical plays -Balikbayan, New Yorker in Tondo, Blind Curves, The Legend of Queen Puso produced by Manila Actors Studio and East West Players. author of a book, Total Beauty and Life -The Natural Way. She wrote her second book - Total Beauty and Life - A Beauty Queen’s Perspective. Her book is about women empowerment, inspiring and motivating women to be the best they can physically and spiritually. Her World Tour Book Launching, Autograph signing in Paris, France was a successful event. It was held at Figuig Restaurant near the Champs Elysees.
She also launched her book with autograph signing at the Cannes Film Festival on July 14, 2021, at The Samba Restaurant, in Redondo Beach, California on September 5, 2021 and in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada on October 24, 2021! Part of the proceeds will go to The Lighthouse Organization, a non profit group for domestic abuse awareness. She founded her own company Corazon Productions for her love and support for the Arts and Culture. As a philanthropist, her company will further her cause and advocacy to produce stage plays and fashion shows to promote talents. Part of proceeds go to Gasa Charities Inc. She is the international TV Host of Queen Corazon Limelight TV Podcast , which partly benefits the establishment of a Communal Garden Livelihood Project and Feeding Program in Caloocan City and Bohol in the Philippines for planting trees, vegetables and medicinal plants for the residents. Last year, she received an award from World Elite Foundation as Humanitarian of the Year. This year, she received an award from Artista of the Heart Foundation as Philanthropist of the Year. I feel so blessed to be recognized as 2021 Woman of the Year out of all the beautiful candidates. I would like to thank God, my family and friends for their love and continued support. I would like to give special thanks to Sir Derek Tokarzewski, owner, founder, Mr. World Class, Mr. United Nations, for this recognition and prestigious title! I am humbled and so honored. I will continue to promote World Class Brand, my platform, advocacy and involvements in several charity organizations, which I am very passionate about. I am looking forward to an amazing year 2022! To empower, educate, inspire everyone in the USA and the World! God Bless us all!
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about all the amazing charity work that you've done in 2021 as World Class Beauty Queens USA Ambassador?
I wrote my second book “Total Beauty and Life - A Beauty Queen’s Perspective” and had my successful World Tour Autograph signing Book Launching in Cannes, Paris, France; Redondo Beach, Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada from July to October 2021. Part of proceeds were donated to The Lighthouse Organization, a non profit group for domestic violence awareness. Sully Weerakody, CEO of the Lighthouse Org. chose me as one of the Ambassadors. I am honored to be part of this charitable organization to help out, put in my time and volunteering for their great cause. For Mother’s Day, we had a Charity Makeover for Mothers of all backgrounds. It was precious to see their smiles and confidence after the makeover. I also donated to Share the Blessings Feeding Program. The organizer Designer Boy Lizaso gave out food to the poor children in Paranaque, Manila. It was wonderful to hear the happy children chant “Thank you Queen Corazon”. Currently, I am the Host of Queen Corazon Limelight TV Podcast, produced by Roy Rodrigazo Luga Media Group. Part of proceeds from the show benefits Communal Garden Livelihood Project and Feeding program in Caloocan City and Bohol in the Philippines.

I was a special guest and one of the Board of Judges for Ms. Regency International at The Golden Nugget Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada; one of the Guest Speakers for Meet and Greet of Miss Carson City, Tyra Goldman at Cafe Manila, Las Vegas; Guest at Miss Nevada USA 2021 at South Point Resort, Las Vegas. Special Guest at Welcome Party for Rabiya Mateo, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 at Geoffrey Jimenes residence in Granada Hills, California. Guest at Meet and Greet of Bibyana Marques, Miss Teen Universe 2021 at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Host of The International Womens Day Event at Mariscos Restaurant in Los Angeles. Guest at the Movie Premier of “Xentastic” at the famous Grauman TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Guest at The Philippine Independence Day Celebration at Fil Am Cultural Center in Los Angeles. World Class Beauty Queens: You also did some exciting modeling in USA.
I modeled for Fashion Designer Aspeed Collections during the Fashion Show at Hollywood Global Film Festival in Los Angeles, California. I also modeled for Fashion Designer Anne Fontaine during the Gemini Event at The Crystals in Las Vegas, Nevada. I walked the runway for Fashion Designer M. Okiya, and won the title as Ms. Fashion Queen by GC Entertainment in Los Angeles. I had a fabulous time walking the runway for Fashion Designer Kenneth Barlis for Fashion with a Cause Charity Gala at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego. I modeled for Mary Jane Okiya of SeemssAfrica during the Fashion Show and awarded the title Ms.Noble Global Model 2021 by AMTWA Awards in Glendale. I was an awardee as Oustanding International Model of the Year by Cyberspace Foundation at Carsbad Resort in San Diego, California.
World Class Beauty Queens: You also modeled in Europe while representing World Class. Please tell us all about it.
I was in magical Paris, France in July of 2021. I had photoshoots in Les Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum for Magazine Covers as World Class Beauty Queens USA Ambassador! The 74th International Cannes Film Festival was glorious! I attended the Cannes Film Festival and had photoshoots for another Magazine Cover. I modeled for four international French Fashion Designers - Luxury ReadyLady Paris by Paulette Mouquet, Bintou Kimberley Assoni, Emeline K, and Mem Clah Marque during the Fashion Show at the Palace Clement Massier in Cannes, France. I visited beautiful Paris again in October 2021 to model for Fashion Designer Kenneth Barlis! I walked the runway at the Normandie Hotel on October 4, 2021 for the prestigious Paris Fashion Week. It was one of my exciting moments in life!
World Class Beauty Queens: Besides Modeling you've done some film work in 2021 tell us about it.
I had a fantastic time filming Julia Styles Movie by award winning producer Sandra A. Smith filmed on location in Antioch and Oakland, California. I had a wonderful cameo role playing myself as an author and as World Class Beauty Queens USA Ambassador. I wore my beautiful sash and crown and enjoyed myself tremendously with this hilarious comedy film! I was a talent as model and beauty queen representing World class for the educational documentary -”Talent after C.o.v.i.d 19” stating my experience on how I was affected by this pandemic. To be shown as Roku series and YouTube series. I was filmed in several episodes of the Reality TV Series “ Hollywood Star in Paris” in Paris and Cannes in France. The producer, Paulette Mouquet, rented a fabulous villa in Cannes and filmed our everyday life at the villa from waking up , having breakfasts, attending events, fashion shows and the Cannes Film Festival! It was so awesome and a I had a grand time!
World Class Beauty Queens: What was your most memorable moment as World Class Beauty Queens USA Ambassador? Every guest appearances were memorable! The special moments were the ones I experienced in Paris and Cannes in France! It was so amazing!
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us little bit about your pageant history. I have a very long pageant history, with 19 beauty queen titles that I achieved! I am humbled and so honored.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
My oldest sister, Cynthia was Miss Philippines and she inspired me.
World Class Beauty Queens: You also have new titles, please tell us about them.
I am the current Noble Queen of the Universe Classic 2021, Ms. Wow Universe and Ms. Paris International Universe. The platform is about women empowerment, to educate and promote respect and culture.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant systems please tell us what is it about? World Class Brand was established in 2016 by Derek Tokarzewski in Chicago, Illinois, USA. World Class Ambassadorship is a virtual pageant where we are invited and chosen by our Director Derek Tokarzewski to represent our country. Big part of ambassadorship is a mentorship program established to help individuals focus on their personal growth through their platform development. There are 3 core areas of the program: guidance, encouragement and awareness. My pageant is World Class USA Ambassador 2021. Through my crown and sash I am able to bring into focus the issues which are the core of my platform. Besides working on our platform one of the responsibilities is to promote World Class Brand in our respected country or region.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some other achievements you would like to mention that you are proud of?
I am an author of 2 books -Total Beauty and Life - The Natural Way” and “Total Beauty and Life - A Beauty Queens’s Perspective” book. I am also a co author of “Red Blazer of Excellence and Achievement” book. It is all about women empowerment. I won “Best Actress” by Virgo Awards for my role in “There was a Soldier”. Through the years, I acquired 19 Beauty Queen titles. I modeled for several Fashion Designers for print ads and Fashion Shows. The most interesting achievement for me is the fact that I modeled life size Barbie doll outfits during Barbie Conventions Fashion Shows and was dubbed “Living Doll”!!! Recently I launched two debut single CD “House of the Rising Sun” and the original song by Born Famous Label entitled “I am a Beauty Queen” ! I am now looking forward to film the Music Videos for these 2 songs that I had so much fun recording! For me, overall, my greatest achievement in life is my Family! I feel so blessed. Thank you God.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Competing in pageants helped my personal life because it helped me realize that I can be the best of myself, have more self confidence, and be proud of who I really am, my background and my family.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
My strategy is to look them in the eye and let them know that I am confident and most importantly, to let them see through that my real beauty comes from within me. To let them know that I have so much more to offer than just my outer beauty because I have a beautiful heart and mind.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I prepared for the competition for months, from my wardrobe, hair, make up and inner beauty. It takes a lot of discipline to prepare but it is worth it.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Look in the mirror when you walk so you can analyze everything. Videotape yourself too so you can critique everything. Practice, practice, practice makes it perfect!
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Try on as many gowns and dresses so you can determine what looks best on you. Choose a Fashion Designer that you admire that can help you with the selection of dresses and gowns.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
Answer the specific questions with knowledge and accuracy. Make it personal. Make
a great impression!
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
It is very satisfying to know that I am an inspiration to all the young girls and that I am also a Role Model for them.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?
I have many exciting and amazing plans for the year 2022! I am hosting “Queen Corazon Limelight TV Podcast Show” featuring my many travels, my interviews with community leaders and celebrities, my modeling, pageant and acting experiences. To promote my platforms and advocacies, continuing my passion and my involvements in several Charity Organizations - The Lighthouse Organization, Gasa Charities, Communal Garden Livelihood Projects and Feeding Programs among others. To continue to promote World Class Brand and Noble Queen of the Universe Classic platforms and advocacies through guest appearances and my travels.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I want to leave behind is about women empowerment. It means it has no limitation. Women can be anything they want to be, whether it is to be a beauty queen, entrepreneur or homemaker. She has the strength and power to conquer anything she wants. But most of all, my legacy and achievements in life came from my passion and desire to do it on my terms. I can truly say, I did it My Way..
