I am a mother with 3 lovely daughter's and 1 grandchild.   I stay in Pretoria our beautiful

Lacaranda City.  I was born in Polokwane and finished high School in Makhado.  Later on I obtained my higher qualifications in Marketing and General Management.

I'm married to Cornell van der Neut. I'm currently employed as a secretary in the National Defence Force. World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?

Investing in women’s economic empowerment sets a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication and inclusive economic growth. Women make enormous contributions to economies, whether in businesses, on farms, as entrepreneurs or employees, or by doing unpaid care work at home.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

In 1994 I started to compete and win Miss Personality Sunnyside Pretoria

1995 I win Miss Pretoria Sunnyside

2004 I was the Overall Winner Goddess of Cullinan and photogenic winner

2007 Winner Mrs Full Figure South Africa

2013 Mama Africa Beauty Queen

2016 Plus RSA Media Marketing winner

2018 International and National photogenic world winner

2018 Africa Ambassador Overall Winner

2019 Mrs Diamond South Africa Best Diamond costume winner

2019 Mrs Diamond South Africa best Art costume winner World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

To meet other women, and to dress up, and to be the best of myself World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

To make a difference and to follow my dream  I believe my purpose in life is to set a goal for myself to inspire other women so that they can believe they can also make a difference. World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

The pageant take normally place in Potchefstroom South Africa for many years. You first have to enter the Mrs Diamond South Africa pageant, that Celebrating Beauty  and Diversity of Every women. For almost 6 months you have to work in your community and make a difference.  Mrs Diamond South Africa is a leadership platform for ambitious South African women. The winner Brand Ambassador and Regency International South Africa winner (that's me) must be ambassadors of our country; role models with voices that resonate and brands that inspire 365 days a year. Mrs Diamond Brand Ambassador South Africa is a representative, both locally and globally. She inspires women to move beyond their circumstances and carries our torch on the international stage. Because I won I will re-present South Africa next year 2021 in the Classic Regency International Pageant in Las Vegas.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

Confidence, Poise, Posture,First Impression, Stage Personality World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

Beauty pageants are about finding the right combination of confidence and belief in yourself.  My experience is that you have be confident to participate, to do your best. You must have a good personality that you be able to make new pageant friends. I enjoy everything of the pageant, especially the catwalk and to dress like a queen. The difficult part of the pageant was that I was the only plus size, but it did not stop me because of my confidence and stage personality and uplifting the community I did make a difference and tooked the Crown. Beauty Queens have a lot more to do, than just look beautiful. It’s about cracking the tough round of questions and answers with conviction. The cutthroat competition in the woman’s world is all about balancing beauty with brains.

The venue was in Potchefstroom and was spectacular big and beautiful, build in ramp. More then 200 people were there. We had a formal dinner with the pageant and lots of entertainment.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

I want to be ambassador for all women, with my platform I will take the opportunity to help women regain their confidence.  I will strive to be a mirror to all those around me. World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I visited the SPCA I visited old age homes and children homes. I'm involved in community work, provides services to people and children, Visited Tshwane Home of hope I took some food for them Visited the hospital CANSA TLC for children from ages of 0-18 year's Visited the parks and graveyard on Mandela day we cleaned the places I done the women's challenge for charity of radio Jacaranda World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

Standing up for stop bullying campaign

To be part of Afrikaans language function to recognise the purity of language

To be part and to be the VIP of Africa Full Figure Fashion show

To sing together with Herman Steyn a local artist

Judging competitions like Magnificent South Africa Miss Intercontinental and Supranational World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

My confidence and the way I carry myself World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

It was amazing and to be proud the it's feeling you can't describe. World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

For me a Beauty Queen is who learned and realised most of life's lessons and able to respect others and to become a role model for them.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

It helped me to realise how much you can make a difference in someone's life

Help me a lot with my self-confidence

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

It's feels good, to know that you can make a difference.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

Practice makes perfect, eat right get enough sleep and stay positive.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Practice every day.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

Dress for your body and dress accordingly to the rules, you must be comfortable in what you wearing.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Be yourself and be confident, think before you answer it must truly come out of your heart.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

I made one mistake, I wear a new pair of shoes never ever wear a new pair of shoes for the first time in competition.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? They don't follow the rules

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I have a lot of modelling experience of all the competitions and fashion shows.

For acting I have also experience in school I did drama and I'm a freelance actress for movies and TV adverts

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2020 as a Queen?

I will continue to be a role model for the Fuller figure women and to promote my platform. Where I helped children on the streets to educate them about this covid 19 virus and give them clothes and books .  I believe I'm making a difference. World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
