Ms. Mrs & Elite Singapolitan Worldwide is a unique Beauty Pageant which has a 360 degree approach towards assessing its contestants not only for Extrinsic Beauty but ‘Beauty with Purpose’. The Pageant under the superlative guidance of Ms. Vanithadevi Saravanamuttu at Singapore and Aesthetics International, India supports the noble cause of Breast Cancer- “the pink ribbon”. At par with any international pageant, the contestants were also judged on the basis of their Pink Ribbon initiatives.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
During the competition we were judged on the basis of Presence of Mind, Etiquette and Mannerism, Team Spirit, Positive Attitude, Public Speaking Skills, Communication Skills & Confidence during Q&A and originality of Breast cancer initiatives
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
During the competition I was amazed by our Pageant Coach- Ms. Vanithadevi’s creativity as every day she had organized action-packed meaningful surprises for us.
1st day was the Press Meet wherein we shared our Pink Ribbon initiatives and also had our first rendezvous with our Pink Ribbon Judges. Few Judges were also there in Final Event. This was in keeping with the 360 approach towards judging each contestants and giving them ample platform to impress the judges rather than just one day- the Gala Evening of 25th August.
2nd Day was dedicated for Sponsors Meeting
3rd Day was the Talent Round
4th Day was for Choreography
5th Day was the Final Contest
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
Being an entrepreneur, Founder, iTrain Plus, I actively participated and gave my best to the pageant’s mission of Breast Cancer as my intention was to test the water even before coming to an international platform. As a Training Consultant, I chose to dig deeper rather than merely planning my pink ribbon initiatives.
I have come up with my 5 fold strategy
Corporate Awareness (executed 2 complimentary sessions),
Community Awareness Drive (executed 01 complimentary session)

Visit to Cancer Hospital –(visit QCC- Qatar Cancer Society- tried but not executed fully)

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?
Strategy was simple to be totally at ease with myself, be present in the moment and be my best version.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?
Conviction, strong determination to come out of my comfort zone, stay positive and convert ‘Dreams to Reality’
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
I was overwhelmed with tears of Joy and mixed emotions, I felt as if everything had stopped for a moment, all my efforts back in India, my sacrifices (in terms of time, travel, effort and preparing myself for new situation daily had paid off). I felt proud when Collin Chee Qian, announced my name and addressed me as Mrs. India. So in a single moment I had lived so many lives of my dreams and aspirations not only proving myself as an individual but also as a proud citizen of India. That one moment was subliminal.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?
Queen with loads of responsibilities to live up-to the expectations of not only the pageant organizer, judges, sponsors but each and every person that she will come across in future and who will look up to her as a role model and as a person endorsing the pageant brand image.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Competing in pageants helped me come out of my comfort zone, 19 years before. But not making it to the top 3 and the fear of failure made me leave the ‘Tinsel Town’ and I started my Career as a hotelier. Worked full-time for 11 years, travelled across, ventured as an entrepreneur & a Training consultant. I was happy. But re-entering this industry made me realize that I was a perfect match and I was meant to make a mark for myself in this industry.
With my maturity in terms of life experiences, all my apprehensions, fears and insecurities have been laid ‘BARE’ and I am in perfect unison with myself due to this platform. I am more satisfied as the pageant made me dilute my boundaries first from myself to society and now with the worldwide title from my county, India to the World.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image?
Pageant helped my self-esteem and image as a Global Training Consultant and thus it has helped me build my brand within a span of few months and Winning is an icing on the top!
World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?
I feel blessed, honoured and accountable
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Practise, practise and practise and ingrain the poise as when under pressure we tend to get back to our comfortable pose which may not be perfect if left for last few days. Pageant walk is key to success in terms of confidence and body language and judges give strong weightage to it till the final announcement.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?
Be Your Best Version but most importantly ‘Be Comfortable’ in whatever we choose to represent our personality.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?
ADPT- Acknowledge, Differentiate, Pitch (your opinion) and Thank
World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?
I was very methodical about every stage of preparation right from designing my dress, practise my walk, health regime, meditation for emotional balance as the entire preparation phase was very stressing. I had to completely balance my work, family and the pageant’s pink ribbon initiative. As I was individually representing my country and had no sponsors, so time, money, effort and opportunity cost all had to be counted while preparing for the competition.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?
I should have given more importance to National Costume Round dressing because on an international platform, we are representing our country so it should be the best.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
Contestants generally feel that they have to give their best only on the final day. My failure and success has taught me to give my best every day and every moment as final event is just a culmination of what we deliver consistently.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modelling or acting experience?
Actress- Regional (Bengali) Movie- “Chandra Mallika” & Regional (Bengali) Tele-Serial- “Mama Bhagne”
Print Model (Ethnic wear & Jewellery) for Femina International Magazine, Millennium Issue (2000)
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?
Create Awareness and let the entire world know of the Singapolitan and Aesthetics International brand that I am associated to, hold Auditions internationally and come up with contestants from other countries apart from the ones whom I participated along with in Singapolitan Worldwide Season 2 Contest.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
