World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.

I am a single full time working mother of two beautiful young daughters Aria and Aarvi. My young daughters and I share a very special and unbreakable relationship. They look up to me for inspiration and advice while I look up to them for their innocence and endurance. They make us laugh with their incredibly humorous take on the world. Everything makes them laugh and I aspire to take the world in the same shoes as they do. I have my supporting mother and father who have been my pillars. My brother and his beautiful family are in Melbourne which is our usual go-to local holiday destination. On professional front, I am one of the first woman who was appointed as power system controller to manage National Electricity Grid compromising five states of Australia-NSW, VIC QLD, SA and TAS World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Please tell us about your education. I have completed Bachelor of Electrical Engineer (Higher Distinction) from Sardar Vallabhbhai Institute of Technology India. I had interest in high voltage control. I have cleared various levels of training programs including simulations on dispatch, voltage control and power system security to manage National Electrical grid of Australia.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does women Empowerment means to you?

To me, women’s empowerment is being respectful and non-judgmental, where there is a focus on strengths and abilities, where women feel comfortable discussing their feelings, and opinions, where women have the right to be educated and be financially independent and she is accepted for the decisions she makes about her own life, where she understands the importance of self-worth/love. There is power in allowing yourself to be known and heard, in owning your unique story. And there is grace in being willing to know yourself and hear within, attain mind-body, and soul balance.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.

I was interviewed with questions to understand my take on life, my own personal growth, my vision/understanding of women empowerment, my understanding of womanhood, beauty, body and soul balance. I had an intense online audition with Director Ankita Saroha from the United Kingdom, the Founder & Director of Mrs India International Queen. She is an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer and holds an MBA degree. She’s a hardworking, dedicated and determined woman who has an optimistic approach towards life. She herself is a national and international level winner in the field of modelling. She encourages women empowerment and aims to provide a genuine and fair platform for all the married ladies to showcase their talent on a global level, to live their dreams, to help them grow, rise and shine in every field of life. To participate in such pageant was something which I thought was to live my dream to model, aspire other women who are struggling with self confidence, be an inspiration to my young daughters who look up to me and finally to represent all those women who are strong, confident and are able to stand for themselves.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Many women dream to live like a model at least once in their lifetime, to own a crown. I also had such dream as a child, but at this age and stage my only reason to participate was to represent women who are struggling to realize their self-worth. There is grace to know yourself and have some space in your heart for the unimaginable, as serendipity has its own way to appear just when you are about to give up. I could see that this event wasn’t just any beauty pageant but a doorway to reach out to larger audiences, especially the ones who are struggling as a single full time working mom, ones who are struggling to find self-worth, who are seeking encouragement to survive trauma from a broken marriage, who need to see that beauty resides not outside but inside too and that there is no limit to dream. I truly believe that the only way to empower women is through other women so every door which has been opened, I want to open for others. This platform had a strong message for all women to be strong, to be confident and to be YOU. Also, I wanted to be a role model to my young daughters who look up to me and who could see me connecting to a force which was much larger and potent .i.e., being optimistic. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

Mrs India International Queen platform has gave me yet another chance to bring a proud smile to my young daughter’s faces who look up to me and are constantly watching me, learning lessons and who see me as continuing to keep myself connected to a force that’s larger and more potent than winning and that is being optimistic. For me going all the way from Sydney all alone with two young kids is a form of faith, an antidote to fear. And finally, participation in this contest was one of my most memorable sailboat billowing with confidence, and just like a soldier in battle, I did persevere under fire and came out with yet another beautiful memory and learning. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Mrs India International Queen is an organisation built to create role models for the world with a sole mission to create and contribute to society. It is a global platform giving ample opportunities and international exposure for all married/single ladies around the world to showcase your talent, live your dreams, and inspire others. This event is to encourage women’s empowerment and promote cultural heritage, using your talent to raise awareness in the aid of humanity to make real differences to society. The pageant carries a very strong message for women to be strong, to be confident and to be you. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?

As the pageant has a vision for a woman to be strong, to be confident and to be original self, I was judged on if I can represent face of being Mrs India International Queen- a woman who can show her strength by standing for herself and for others if needed. A woman who can empower/inspire other women. A woman who has mind body and soul balance. A woman who has overcome fears, considered failures as learnings and have taken success with gratitude. A woman who has taken ageing gracefully, every line, a laugh shared, every wrinkle a year survived.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

It is hard to actually word the experience as it is something that can only be felt but if asked it was a dream come true. Right from the process of being interviewed to final selection. I found the competition gave me a platform to form my opinions and how to back them up, how to defend my points of view, and how to think on my feet. I also learned about good posture, eye contact, and effective body language. Met some amazingly strong women who carried such intelligence and grace.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause you volunteer for.

I am a firm believer that only women can empower other women. I was standing confidently throughout for all the women who are single, independent, strong, confident, and dreamers. I want to reach out to larger audiences so that women who are struggling with self-confidence or are fearful to make life-changing decisions can see me as a light of hope. They can see that age is just a number and that there are no limits to dreaming or setting a goal to achieve body mind and soul balance. I want to reach out to all women and give the message that self-love is not selfishness but a holistic approach to leading a happy and peaceful life and it is very important to be financially independent.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?

So far I have advertised for Zsmile, appeared in various news channels, and given titles to participating makeup artists for the contest.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are some of your achievements?

When I was a kid, my aspirations were simple, I wanted to be a top ranker in the class, and wanted to make my parents proud. I use to tell people when I grow up, that I want to become a doctor, why? Because it was the most pleasing answer for the adults to hear. Oh! What a good choice! I was always ambitious but hardly knew what I was shooting for. Now when I think of it all, it’s one of the most useless questions an adult can ask a child what do you want to be when you grow up? As if growing up is finite. As if at some point you become something and that’s the end. So, I believe there is a lot more to achieve as I am still growing but so far one of my most proud achievements is to be appointed as the first woman in New South Wales, Australia as a Power system controller to manage dispatch, voltage control and security of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. After my appointment, I encouraged other women to join the transmission grid control room and now we have two more women. The position I hold professionally is one of my biggest assets. The way we handle complex networks on daily basis has not only enhanced my personality professionally but personally and has given me a platform like nothing I could have imagined. Another grateful achievement was to overcome grief/depression after losing my son to an early miscarriage. Have overcome my fear of never being able to be a mother to successfully paving my way with bed rests, and medications to finally being the proud mother of two beautiful daughters. It challenged me, humbled me, lifted me up, and shrank me down, sometimes all at once. And finally, the very important achievement to date is to acknowledge the importance of self-worth/love, balance of body soul, and mind. There is a lot of ME in me that I could only realize after making a sincere effort to listen to my soul, learn to let go, learn to fight and overcome fears if any, and stop trying to be perfect in everything. Our bodies have five senses touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing. But not to be overlooked are the senses of our souls, intuition, peace, foresight, trust, and empathy. The differences between people lie in their use of these senses, most people don’t know about inner senses while only a few people can rely on them just as they can rely on their physical senses.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

My confidence, positive take, infectious smile, and strong will. I was able to prove myself with these traits throughout the process, right from interviews, talent round, ramp walks, or introduction round.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

Winning moment is always a very special overwhelming moment and it lives with you as an unforgetful experience throughout your life span. To see my father, mother and young daughters shouting my name in pride and having tears while I wore the crown was like a prayer that got answered. The moment was just filled with gratitude.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

In my opinion, there is more to being a beauty queen than just looking great in an evening gown or photograph. A beauty queen has many qualities that make her a great leader and inspiration to those in her community. A beauty queen is kind, gracious, as well as generous. She utilizes her talents, and skills, as well as her time as a way to help others and make the world around her a better place to be. She is also intelligent as well as disciplined and works hard to set and achieve her goals. A beauty queen is strong, and courageous, and loves to stand up for what she believes in, and also encourages others to do the same. A beauty queen has confidence that radiates from within and helps bring out the best in others. A beauty queen also has a heart of gold and a giving spirit. She supports others in their endeavors and loves to cheer people on. In addition, no matter what title she holds, a beauty queen always represents her title with utmost respect and pride. World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

One thing which definitely comes with competing in pageants is self-confidence. I did learn that I am capable of doing more than I imagined. That I learn and achieve my goals. Self-discipline, Motivation, and Determination – To work and improve physically and mentally requires determination, tenacity, and focus. And this was all possible by participating in the pageant.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

My heart is only filled with gratitude. It feels like after all the dark phases of my life I have finally hit a crystal road. To be an inspiration to my young daughters and to all the girls out there is something that I dreamt of and worked hard for. It needed many fearless decisions with the clear goal of achieving mind body and soul. It is unfortunate that our education system and even parenting are primarily focused on IQ - Intelligence Quotient and Emotional Quotient. least attention and effort are given to teaching young students and kids the attributes to face the outside world which needs social and adversity quotient. So if I have or can pass this message to a larger audience then my goal towards society will be achieved.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is your on-stage strategy to win the judges over?

Honesty- as beauty is just not external but internal. Honesty is definitely what can take oneself far beyond one can imagine.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?

There were few things which came along with me naturally and those were my honesty, confidence, positive take and a quick learner. with these qualities I prepared for the takent round, participated in the self defence course, meditational session, interviews and ramp walks.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for learning a better pageant walk?

Keep head high

Walk one foot ahead of other foot

Be Playful With The Crowd.

Pose With Your Hands On Your Waist.

Have Fun Walking The Runway.

Hold Your Poses On The Runway.

Don't Rush.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for choosing the right pageant dress?

I think the most important tip to choosing the right pageant dress is to know your body type. Simple designs and patterns that are not distracting and finally flatter yourself with confidence and grace.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your tips for winning an interview?

Honesty is the prime. Confidence will come automatically if you are honest with your opinions, your take on life, your unique story, and your personal understanding and voice.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

I wish I had more time to stay back in India and then have a get-together with other competent contestants as they were all uniquely strong, confident and intelligent ladies.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

I wasn't focused on judging others in the contest. To me, everyone in the contest was a learner and a high achiever with clear goals.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?

The beauty pageant journey was my first modeling experience.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans for 2022 as a Queen?

As a queen, I have some clear goals in 2023 and that is to give back to society in every possible way. Charity, social gatherings with cause, donations, and reaching out to other women who need a shoulder to regain confidence or who are struggling in their lives with poor self-worth.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

I want to spread my message to as many humans be it women or men the importance of how you perceive yourself. Its very important to have high regard for your own self. It's important to have the self-awareness to focus on your feelings and motives.

  1. You act assertively without guilt.

  2. You don't dwell on the past.

  3. You see everyone as your equal.

  4. You don't allow yourself to be manipulated.

  5. You recognize both positive and negative feelings and share them with others.

  6. You find yourself doing different things to achieve balance.

  7. If I am able to lift even one being with these then I will believe that my life was purposefully lived.
