World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.

I am born and raised in the Philippines and moved to US when I was 21 yrs old. I'm a real estate agent, working and living in Miami with my Filipino poodle. I am very passionate about my dreams and making them come true, and helping other's dreams come true as well.So most of my time is spent around my career in real estate, and volunteering to help those in need.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment mean to you?

For me, it means helping and inspiring women everywhere to be the strongest and most courageous versions of themselves, and to empower them to go after what they truly want in life.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.

In 2011 I competed in my first national pageant in the Philippines called "Mutya Ng Pilipinas" (which translates to "Miss Pearl of the Philippines"). I won the "Best in Talent" and "Best in Designer Gown". In 2015, I competed in Miss Filipino-American Florida USA (held in Tampa Bay Florida) & won the main title, as well as best in Swimsuit, best in gown, the most photogenic award. In June 2019, I competed for and won the "Ms. International World Global" title, held on the cruise to the Bahamas.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

Going after my fears. I was an ugly duckling in my younger years, and always wondered of what it would be like to model or to be in a beauty pageant. I was very shy, and growing up in a very judgmental environment where I always felt I was not pretty or tall enough. One day, I just made a decision to go after what I wanted to do, and to push my luck. It was the most awkward and hilarious audition ever, and that's one of the reason why I was picked to be in one of the 30 delegates out of hundreds of girls who auditioned from all over the Philippines.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

I'm proud to represent my home country, and it meant a lot to me and my family to promote my culture and values on a global level.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Every pageant is different, which makes the preparation and experience unique every time

World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?

We were judge based on the overall package: Beauty, Intellect, Presentation and goals as a title holder.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.

It was a very exciting experience because for the first time I got a chance to represent my country in an international beauty pageant, and to have my friends and family there meant a world to me.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.

Growing up without a role model really made me appreciate a difference a right example can make. I believe it's important to know that, no matter where you came from, you can achieve anything as long as you put the work and your heart into it. And that's what my platform is all about.

World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?

I have done a number of appearances with my previous titles like TV shows, news casts, various events, charity affairs, and magazines.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?

Multiple pageant titles holder. Travel awards such as the Gawad Kalinga Hero & Ambassador to help the poorest of the poor in the Philippines. Press and magazine publications like FHM magazine. Part of "Top 30 Real Estate Agents" in my office of 250 all within my 1st year in FL real estate. "Top 100 people in Real Estate of South Florida" magazine ("Honorary Filipino").

World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over?

I think confidence and sincerity shows that there's more to me than just the looks and a pretty smile

World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?

Being genuine, kind and wearing my heart on my sleeve.

World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

I couldn't believe it, my mind just went blank and everyone was cheering and looking at me. My friends and family were very proud and happy to witness everything and see me get crowned. I think that was the best part of everything, that all team efforts have paid off.

World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen?

To be a beauty queen is to be more than just being beautiful: it is to be a woman of purpose, elegance & grace

World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?

Competing in pageants have helped me fight my fears, helped me gain a lot of self-confidence and interpersonal skills. That helps me be a better business woman as well as a better person each and every day.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self-esteem and body image?

It inspired me to train, take better care of my body and my mind, and push me towards the goals I never even dreamed possible

World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?

It feels amazing knowing that you create an impact on other people's lives, and inspire them to be the best that they can be. This inspires me and motivates me to do more and be a better person, every day.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?

Practice, practice, practice.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress?

Stick to the dress styles and colors that compliment your best features. Practice poses and your walk in that dress so that you look & feel comfortable when you're wearing it. I like to keep mine simple, beautiful and elegant.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview?

Keep it simple.

World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition?

Having a great team that loves and supports your ambitions has helped me tremendously in winning the competition. They helped me focus and work on skills that needed improvement: I went through a lot of practice and I believe that has helped me win the title.

World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it?

I wish I double checked for my green card before leaving home. It was a 2 hour drive from my home to the West Palm Beach port, and I only realized that I don't have my green card when I was checking in, and can't board without it. I only had 4 hours before the gate closes, and I was thankful my best friend was there: she jumped in the car with me and we had a 3.5 hour back and forth funny road trip from west palm beach to Miami to pick up my green card. Every one in the pageant thought I wasn't gonna make it, and sure enough I arrived just before the gate closed.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

Lack of preparation and not having a purpose for the platform and title that they want to win. Being a beauty queen title holder is about more than just having a pretty face.

World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I have done a lot of modeling since I was 18 year old: from photography, to published magazines and commercials.

World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2019 as a Queen?

I want to continue to use my platform to empower and inspire women and children, as an entrepreneur and as a beauty queen.

World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?

A legacy where being beautiful means being true to yourself, strong, a person of purpose and inspiration.
