World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Multicultural Productions is more than just a pageant—it is a platform created to celebrate diversity, uplift voices, and empower individuals from all walks of life. We welcome participants of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures to showcase their stories, talents, and advocacies in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our system moves beyond traditional beauty standards by embracing confidence, cultural pride, and leadership. From children to mothers and grandmothers, we believe everyone has a story worth sharing and a light worth shining—on stage and beyond.
Our crowned titleholders become ambassadors of purpose, actively leading community service projects, organizing fundraisers, and representing charitable causes. Through meaningful collaborations with local businesses, artists, and organizations, we create a space where culture and community intersect. Multicultural Productions is not just about the crown or spotlight—it’s about using that spotlight to inspire, connect, and create positive change while encouraging others to take pride in who they are and where they come from.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what inspired you to start or join your system?
What inspired me to start this system was a deep desire to create a space where diversity is not only accepted—but truly celebrated. Through my work in mental health and pageantry, I saw the need for a platform that uplifts voices from all backgrounds and empowers individuals to embrace their identity with pride.
Multicultural Productions was born out of that passion—to build a movement that unites, inspires, and empowers through culture, purpose, and advocacy. Every crown, every story, and every queen is a reminder that true beauty lies in the strength of our differences—and the unity they can bring.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us the founding story of the system.
Multicultural Productions was born in 2023, sparked by a simple invitation to help with a Little Miss Pageant organized by an entrepreneurs’ association. What began as a one-time favor quickly transformed into a calling—after the event, the response was overwhelming, with many asking when the next one would be. With my background in coaching national and international pageant queens, I recognized the opportunity to create something meaningful. That’s when I officially launched Multicultural Productions—a platform built to uplift, represent, and empower people from all walks of life.
Every event we organize is rooted in purpose and community. While we celebrate diversity, culture, and confidence, we also use our platform to give back—supporting local organizations such as Canadian Mental Health, Hope Mission, the Women’s Emergency Shelter, and the Christmas Bureau. Multicultural Productions is more than just a pageant system—it’s a movement of empowerment, unity, and service.
World Class Beauty Queens: What was the vision and the goal in the beginning while creating your pageant.
From the start, the vision behind my pageant was to create a meaningful platform that celebrates cultural diversity, empowers individuals from all walks of life, and unites communities through confidence, compassion, and shared heritage. I wanted to shift the focus from traditional beauty standards to something deeper—highlighting each participant’s story, values, and identity. This platform encourages individuals to rise with pride, embrace their roots, and inspire others with their authenticity and strength.
More than a competition, the goal has always been to use pageantry as a powerful tool for personal growth and community impact. Through mentorship, training, and purposeful events, we help participants develop confidence while also supporting local charities and causes. Each crown represents not just achievement, but advocacy, leadership, and heart. Multicultural Productions is a celebration of identity, a bridge between communities, and a movement that turns diversity into unity.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about yourself.
I’ve always believed that true leadership begins with service. As a proud resident of Red Deer, Alberta, my journey has been rooted in compassion, cultural pride, and a deep commitment to uplifting others. During the height of the pandemic, I served on the frontlines, working in isolation units for homelessness and addiction under Canadian Mental Health and Turning Point Society. That experience changed me—it opened my heart even more to the realities of mental health and the power of human dignity.
Since coming to Canada, I’ve also worked extensively in the hospitality industry. From customer service to team management, those years taught me grace under pressure, how to lead with empathy, and how to thrive in diverse spaces. Every role I’ve taken on has been part of a bigger mission: to serve, empower, and build a community where everyone belongs.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your education.
I pursued my education in Canada and became a Certified Community Support Worker, specializing in homelessness, addiction, and mental health. This path allowed me to work closely with vulnerable populations, especially during the pandemic, where I served on the front lines supporting those facing mental health challenges and housing insecurity.
But above all, the best education I’ve ever received is through life itself. The lessons I’ve learned through struggles, sacrifices, and real experiences have shaped me into the strong, compassionate, and purpose-driven woman I am today.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Women empowerment, for me, means awakening the strength that already lives within every woman. It’s about creating spaces where women can speak their truth, embrace their identity, and be proud of their journey—no matter how difficult or unconventional it may be. True empowerment is not just about personal success; it’s about using your voice, your story, and your resilience to light the way for others. It’s about turning struggles into strength and letting each step forward become an invitation for others to rise as well.
Throughout my life, I’ve been shaped by hardship, community service, and a deep commitment to mentoring others. From guiding queens in pageantry to supporting women in my community, I’ve witnessed the beauty and transformation that happens when we lift each other up. Empowerment is not a one-time act—it’s a lifelong movement built on love, courage, and unity. When we empower women, we don’t just change one life—we influence generations. That’s the impact I strive for, and the legacy I hope to leave behind.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your personal pageant history.
My pageant journey began in grade school and high school, where I joined school competitions that helped me build confidence and embrace my uniqueness. Those early experiences planted the seeds of who I would become, teaching me how to express myself and believe in my worth.
Years later, I was honored to be crowned Mrs. Pilipinas Canada 2017, which led me to represent the Philippines internationally and win Lady Belleza Internacional 2018 in the Dominican Republic. That journey fueled my passion for mentorship, and in 2019, I became the International Director and Coach for Miss Belleza Petite Internacional. Pageantry, for me, goes beyond crowns—it’s about growth, advocacy, and helping others discover their inner beauty and voice.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
What inspired me to do my first pageant was actually my school teacher. I still remember how she saw something in me that I didn’t even realize I had at the time. She chose me to represent our section—and although I was nervous, I said yes. That moment became the start of it all.
I was in grade school, and from that first experience, I began to love the energy, the confidence it gave me, and how it brought people together. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about stepping out of my comfort zone and learning how to carry myself with pride and purpose. From there, I kept joining in high school, and the passion just grew stronger.
World Class Beauty Queens: Over the years what Country, state or city the competition took place and why?
My pageant journey began in Calgary, where I won Mrs. Pilipinas Canada 2017—a title that sparked my passion for empowering women. I later returned as a mentor, guiding young women to find their confidence. In Red Deer, our events continue to thrive in a welcoming, diverse community that supports our mission of unity through culture and purpose.
Internationally, I’ve represented the Philippines and served as a director in the Dominican Republic, where pageantry became a bridge for global empowerment. Every location—local or abroad—reflects our goal to uplift voices, celebrate identity, and inspire meaningful cultural connection.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us what was special about each years competition. Each year of Multicultural Productions tells a story of growth, purpose, and cultural pride.
2023 marked our debut in Red Deer, Alberta, with strong community support and meaningful partnerships with Canadian Mental Health and Hope Mission. It was a heartfelt beginning rooted in advocacy and diversity.
2024 brought expansion—more contestants, broader cultural representation, and the introduction of our Gala Night. Queens and candidates also lit up the Westerner Days Parade, while supporting the Women’s Emergency Shelter and Red Deer Christmas Bureau.
2025 continues the legacy in Red Deer with new sponsors, greater reach, and a renewed commitment to unity, empowerment, and multicultural celebration.
World Class Beauty Queens: What cultural significance has your pageant?
Our pageant holds deep cultural significance as it celebrates and embraces diversity in all its forms. It’s not just about beauty—it’s about heritage, identity, and unity. Every candidate brings a unique story, rooted in their culture and community, and through the pageant, we provide a platform where those stories are seen, heard, and honored. It becomes a space where traditions meet modern expression, creating a vibrant showcase of global pride right here in Canada. At its core, our pageant uplifts voices, promotes inclusivity, and reminds everyone that beauty shines brightest when it reflects who we truly are.
World Class Beauty Queens: How long hours/days is the competition.
Usually, about a month before the pageant, we hold a presentation of candidates along with the talent competition. This not only gives our candidates a platform to showcase their individuality, but also helps build their confidence and stage presence. As for the final competition, it typically runs for about 5 to 7 hours, depending on the number of contestants and program flow.
World Class Beauty Queens: Are contestants taken on any sight seeing during the competion?
Yes, during the competition, contestants are taken to visit our sponsors’ designated businesses—not only as a gesture of gratitude but also to promote and support our community partners. We capture these visits through photos and videos, which are then shared across our platforms to highlight both our contestants and the generous sponsors who make our events possible. It’s a fun and meaningful way to connect, explore, and give back while building confidence and exposure for everyone involved.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are the competitors being judged on during the competition?
Competitors in the Multicultural Productions’ “Multicultural Beauty Universe” pageant are judged in the following categories:
• Production Number – stage presence, energy, and overall performance
• Swimsuit Competition – confidence, poise, and fitness
• Cultural Attire – representation of heritage, creativity, and authenticity
• Evening Gown – elegance, grace, and overall impact
• Question & Answer – intelligence, personality, and communication skills
World Class Beauty Queens: How do you select your judges and who are they?
At Multicultural Productions, we carefully select our judges based on their integrity, experience, and passion for diversity, empowerment, and the arts. Our panel typically includes professionals from various industries—former titleholders, community leaders, fashion experts, entrepreneurs, and advocates who align with our mission to uplift and inspire.
We ensure each judge brings a unique perspective while upholding fairness and respect for all participants. Their role is not just to evaluate, but also to empower each candidate through constructive feedback and encouragement.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of experience can contestants expect during the competition?
Contestants can expect a life-changing, empowering, and unforgettable experience. From the moment they join, they become part of a supportive sisterhood that celebrates confidence, culture, and individuality. We offer workshops, rehearsals, and opportunities to showcase talents, cultural pride, and personal growth.
Throughout the competition, they’ll engage in sponsor visits, photo shoots, talent showcases, and meaningful community involvement. On stage, they will shine in different segments—from production number to Q&A—each designed to boost their poise, confidence, and voice. Win or not, every contestant leaves with a sense of accomplishment and belonging.
World Class Beauty Queens: Do contestants have to support and volunteer for any cause or charity either before the competition or during their reign?
Yes, absolutely. At Multicultural Productions, we believe in using our platform to make a difference. While it’s not mandatory before the competition, we strongly encourage contestants to be involved in community service or charitable causes—it builds character and purpose.
During their reign, our titleholders are expected to represent not just beauty, but advocacy. They volunteer, support local initiatives, and participate in fundraising events. Each queen becomes a voice for unity, compassion, and cultural pride—showing that true beauty shines brightest through service and kindness.
World Class Beauty Queens: Does the system have sponsors?
Yes, our system is proudly supported by a growing network of sponsors who believe in our mission to celebrate diversity, empower individuals, and give back to the community. These sponsors range from local businesses and fashion designers to community leaders and corporate partners.
Their support not only helps us bring our events to life but also allows us to provide meaningful prizes, support charitable causes, and offer valuable experiences to our contestants. We are incredibly grateful for each sponsor who walks with us in this journey of empowerment and cultural celebration.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us little bit about each winner from over the years and what they accomplished through out their reign.
Each year, our queens prove that a crown is more than a symbol—it’s a commitment to serve with purpose.
In 2023, our titleholders led with heart. They hosted events, visited the Mayor’s office, and organized The Triumph fundraiser, donating proceeds to the Women’s Emergency Shelter.
Our 2024 queens took it even further. They partnered with Red Deer Christmas Bureau and Parkland Mall to collect toys and essentials for families in need, and proudly launched our first Multicultural Productions Gala Night—a vibrant, multicultural celebration that also raised funds for the Christmas Bureau.
Coming this May, they’ll continue their advocacy by supporting the International Lady’s Boot Camp, showing that their reign goes beyond borders.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some fun events you've done with your Queens?
Multicultural Productions is more than pageantry—it’s a movement rooted in culture, purpose, and community impact. From our glamorous Gala Night, where queens walk the runway in celebration of diversity, to meaningful initiatives like the “Gifts & Glitz” Toy Drive and “The Triumph” Fundraiser for the Women’s Emergency Shelter, our events empower and uplift.
Our queens engage in sponsor visits, boost small businesses, and proudly represent their heritage at the Westerner Days Parade. Through confidence workshops and a memorable mayoral visit, they grow as leaders both on and off stage.
Coming up, they’ll join the International Lady’s Boot Camp (May 9–10), expanding their impact on a global scale. Every crown worn in Multicultural Productions carries a mission—to serve, inspire, and unite communities through diversity.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for your system in 2025 and beyond?
Our 2025 vision for Multicultural Productions focuses on growth, empowerment, and deeper community impact. We’ll continue elevating our Miss, Miss Teen, and Mrs. Multicultural Beauty Universe pageants with cultural showcases, leadership workshops, and purpose-driven reigns for our queens. Our partnerships—like with the Red Deer Christmas Bureau—will expand to support even more causes that uplift women, families, and youth.
Looking ahead, we aim to evolve into a registered nonprofit, with plans to launch scholarships, global collaborations, and diversity-focused conferences. Multicultural Productions will remain a powerful platform for representation, advocacy, and unity.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind as the owner.
As the founder of Multicultural Productions, I want to leave a legacy of purpose, empowerment, and unity through diversity. I hope people—especially women and youth—can say, “Because of this platform, I found my voice and confidence.”
More than the crowns or events, I want to be remembered for building a movement that celebrated culture, uplifted stories, and changed lives. If even one person felt empowered to rise and inspire others, then I’ve fulfilled my mission.
