I am an active girl lover of new experiences of life. I identify myself with the enterprising people that fight for the things that they want. I am positive, with very good energy, educated, correct, I like to make new friendships, I am very friendly, talkative and I like to show others as I am. I love help others and support social causes to make the earth a better place for all.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
My history in the beauty contests has been positive since I have always been in good positions or winning.In this year I have participated in several contests such as Miss Amity USA, Miss Our Houston model, Miss Fashion Global, Miss beauty of the universe. Always getting excellent results.I liked participating in these competitions because I always learn.The learning in each contest has been different. It has been an influx of emotions and boomeran effect learning and teaching, giving and receiving. It has been an exchange of life experiences among the contestants, I have made new friendships, I have enjoyed the journey. I always say that the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy the experience to the fullest.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
What inspired me to make my first contest was the need to show many people that we have many types of beauty and that we can break the beauty pattern that we are used to.I started participating in these beauty contests with the intention of changing the vision of beauty that many people have. Since beauty can be admired in many possible ways, and because there are many manifestations and diversity in the world. We must learn to appreciate it.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
I liked competing for this title because I identified with the name of the contest. I thought it was a great challenge. When I was invited to the contest, I decided to think it over very well before making the decision to participate, but once I agreed to enter the contest I wanted to play a good role in obtaining the best possible results. I also thought it would be a good window to make myself known in the city of Houston and inspire others.As well as a good opportunity to collaborate with social causes and send a positive message to people who were following the contest.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about? The system of this contest is very simple. The representatives of the organization Our Houston model make a launch process to announce that there are open registrations to participate in the contest, then allow all those girls who meet the requirements to register in the organization. After this they do a casting process selecting the candidates with the best profile and the greatest potential. Finally, they present the results of the candidates that have been selected to participate in the edition of our Model Houston.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition? During the competition are judging, catwalk, corporal expression, performance on stage, corresponding costumes, round of questions and answers, projection are the main points to assess.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition. My experience in the competition was pleasant in a general way. Since I was able to interact with all the competitors and perfected my style with the help of the coaches. They were very demanding and professional. I dedicated myself to improve every detail that corrected me, it is necessary to be humble enough to be taught and correct the details that are necessary to achieve excellence.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I have worked as a volunteer at the food bank in Houston, in support of the community and people who have no food and are in vulnerable situations. I have supported social causes raising funds for children with Cancer, lupus and children from St Jude's hospitals. I feel very happy doing this because I think I am contributing for the betterment of society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title? With my title I have made appearances on TV shows such as "Al destape con Demi Cruz", Mundo Latino, "El show de Frank" among others.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements? Some of my achievements :I have managed to contribute to diversity, equality and fraternity in the Latino community. I have contributed to the improvement of society. I have managed to support social causes. I have managed to graduate, perform various tasks and be an example for society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? My strategy is to perform each movement impeccably, maintain excellent posture and performance on stage. Project a pure image that transmits beauty, confidence and wisdom.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls?What makes me stand out from the rest of the girls is my personality. My spiritual beauty projected on the stage and my own light accompanied by angelic blessing. What makes me stand out is to show myself as I am.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.
At that moment that my name was mentioned as a winner, I felt very excited. My heart burst with joy. I felt very blessed. My heart was pounding harder and my body vibrated with happiness. It was a moment full of magic. I felt like everyone was turning in my favor.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? Being a beauty queen for me means being a role model, being the example for other girls who want to achieve this dream. It means being light. Be in the sights of many people. Knowing how to do what is necessary and correct at every moment,make good decisions. It means thinking about the common good before the individual good. It is to maintain the best posture at every moment. It means to show your inner beauty before external beauty, in each moment.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? This helped in my life in many ways, since in this way I was able to identify myself with the person I want to be. It helped me to clarify my ideas and my ideals. To think what I want and what I do not want for my life. It helped me to show myself just as I am. To show myself safe, with a leading role and with a good attitude towards all situations in life.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your selfesteem and body image?These contests helped greatly with my self-esteem and body image. As they helped me to feel better about myself to accept myself as I am, to understand how my body works, controlling my emotions and moods. Regarding my personal image they also contributed in a good way since they encouraged me to practice exercises, eat healthy , lose a little weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel?It feels very moving and very special. But at the same time it is a great responsibility. I feel that I must take care of everything I do because everyone is watching and judging my behavior. Serve as inspiration for others is the best gift life can offer you. Feeling that other people want to be like you or imitate something of your personality makes you feel even more valuable.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk?
Some of my tips to walk better during the contest is to feel comfortable with what you are doing, enjoy the catwalk and every move you make. It is necessary to take classes prior to the event and practice with the coaches if is necessary.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Some of my advice to choose the right dress is to know the theme or the objective of the contest and that the colors of the dress match with the message you want to send to the public. In the same way, it should be something that you feel comfortable with and that identifies with your personality.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? During the interview you must show your true personality. Feel confident about the answers you are providing. Think correctly before answering each question. Be consistent with each question with each answer. Maintain a correct posture during the interview. Pay good attention to the people in front of you. Express yourself correctly using a clear and precise vocabulary.
World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?
I do not think I made any mistakes during the competition, unless I remember ))...
Some frequent mistakes are that they step on the dress, imitate the poses or do not know how to answer the round of questions.
World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?
I graduated in the Agency :ACTUAR from Cuba in 2010. After this I worked as a model for some time in different activities. I also studied theater and body expression in Cuba. Then I played this talent in several countries that I visited. I was in Ecuador of Fashion, tv programs, Moscow fashion week, Estet fashion week among others. Acting and modeling have been always my great passions. I feel very identified with art in general.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are your plans for 2018 as a Queen?
Some of my plans are to support social work such as children suffering from cancer, children belonging to St Jude's hospitals. Support people in vulnerable situations. Promote the positive. As well as diversity, equality and fraternity among the community. Play a good role in front of society and support any cause that is considered worthy and fair.
World Class Beauty Queens: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
My legacy is to empower respect for diversity, equality and fraternity. Promote and respect the different types of beauty we have in the world. Show that equality and fraternity among people makes us better human.Empower women to be independent, strong, fighter, enterprising and positive. Able to achieve everything she sets out to do. I want to go to the pages of history as a humble woman defending justice and social causes. Who used beauty and intelligence to help others. To change the old world view and show a new way, where everyone counts, everyone is important, everyone can achieve their dreams, everyone can walk towards the future without suffering or burdening the weights of the old world.
