World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?

I'm Lynn Bell from North Carolina, USA. With a passion for traveling, I've explored many countries and cities in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Besides my travels, I enjoy volunteering and helping others learn English. I have my own agency that provides language services including interpretation, translation, and ESL teaching. Graduating my master’s degree with a 4.0 GPA and 3x Presidential Lists, I collaborate with organizations to enhance English communication skills for those passionate about learning. I teach workshops on financial, healthy lifestyle, writing, career exploration, interviewing, life skills, and job search. Besides, having achieved significant weight loss of almost 50 pounds within the past year, I inspired others to prioritize healthy living and regular exercise.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What's it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?

I chose to pursue my master’s degree in legal studies because I was inspired by the work of an attorney. I entered the program with no legal background at all—I didn’t even know how to write a research paper. I felt like I was riding a bicycle, trying to catch up with a car. I cried reading my professor’s early feedback, and there were moments when I truly wanted to quit. But earning a master’s degree has always been my dream. So, I kept going. I reorganized my life, disciplined my time, and read countless legal documents, taking everything one step at a time. In the end, I wrote a major research paper on the challenges still faced by the LGBTQ community and same-sex couples in America. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, earned excellent feedback, and was named to the Presidential List three times—one of the proudest achievements of my life.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women's empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?

I aspire to inspire women across the country to start businesses and take initiative in their own lives. Success is not defined by appearance, but by kindness, intelligence, and hard work. True respect is earned through inner beauty, not physical looks. As Ms. East Coast Petite USA, I am proud to represent the petite community while continuing to grow personally and professionally and advocating for healthy lifestyles. Most importantly, I want to motivate others to pursue their goals, persevere through challenges, and believe in themselves. Be confident. Be authentic. Be yourself.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?

I never imagined a girl like me could stand on a pageant stage. It felt impossible, far beyond my dreams. Everything changed when I met my idols, Billy Patchanon and Babe Tananat from Thailand. Through their talent and kindness, they inspired me to change my life. They were the first people who ever told me, “You are beautiful.” Before that moment, I had never believed those words could be meant for me. I began working out, dancing, and practicing my walk. I had always loved dancing, but I never had the confidence to let myself be seen—until they believed in me. Even Billy’s mother once called me “Miss USA,” and that encouragement stayed in my heart. I later discovered Petite USA and asked myself, “Can I really do this? At the same time, I was building my own business and earned my master’s degree with a 4.0 GPA. People called me smart, hardworking, and kind—but never beautiful. Billy and Babe did. That single word changed everything. I wanted to claim it, to believe it, and to let the world see it. That is how my pageant journey began.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?

As I mentioned earlier, my idols Billy and Babe are my greatest motivation for entering pageantry, and this is my very first pageant. When Billy’s mother once called me “Miss USA,” that moment stayed in my heart and planted a seed of belief in me. When I later discovered Petite USA, I asked myself, “Can I really do this?” I was curious, and I wanted to challenge myself. I began dancing and working out more, helping others improve their learning skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyles. What makes this journey truly meaningful is receiving messages from people who tell me that I inspired them to feel confident and to become better versions of themselves. That is when I realized this journey is bigger than me.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?

I never knew a woman like me—under 5’6”—could truly belong in pageantry. I learned that success is not defined by appearance, but by kindness, intelligence, and hard work, and that true respect comes from inner beauty, not physical looks. Finding Petite USA felt like my chance to shine. I knew this journey was bigger than mine. I wanted to be a voice for women who never felt they belonged on a pageant stage. As a role model, I aim to inspire confidence, strengthen public speaking and interview skills, and encourage women to take initiative—whether in business, career, or life. Through this journey, I seek personal and professional growth while advocating for healthy lifestyles. Most of all, I want to encourage women to live their best lives and believe that success is possible for them too.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I'd love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?

Petite USA, a pioneering pageant system that celebrates and empowers women of all heights, has established itself as a platform for women to express their unique qualities and abilities. Focusing on contestants 5'6" and shorter, the pageant system features five divisions of competition, catering to teenagers, young adults, married women, and elite contestants aged 45 and above. Petite USA seeks to redefine beauty standards and offers invaluable opportunities for personal growth, networking, and international representation.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?

I am incredibly proud of our wonderful director, Jenna Rhodes. She is warm, welcoming, and truly caring about everything she does. As this is my first time in pageantry, she made sure to answer all my questions and address every concern with patience and kindness. Because of her support, I feel stronger, more confident, and encouraged to continue this journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you're judged on?

In the Petite USA competition, contestants are judged in four areas: personal interview, swimsuit/activewear (in my division, Ms. Petite will wear a swimsuit), evening gown, and the onstage question.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?

This is my very first time competing in a beauty pageant, and everything feels so new, exciting, and a little nerve-wracking. I absolutely love our director, Jenna, and I’ve had the amazing opportunity to meet and connect with many inspiring queens from all over the United States. I can’t wait to see them again at the National contest this July. I know I still need to practice my interview skills and walking. At first, it felt very challenging, but now I feel more confident with a clearer vision and direction for my journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?

Absolutely, yes! The Petite USA system is a beautiful opportunity for all women under 5’6”—of every race, background, body type, and story—to shine, gain confidence, and connect with one another. I can’t wait to meet everyone at our National Contest in Chicago this July 2026!

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?

My platform is “Be Confident with Lynn Bell.” I’m a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and regularly participate in PRIDE events. I also wrote a research paper regarding the challenges same-sex couples face in America after the Obergefell case. I teach free ESL classes and lead workshops with local and international organizations on topics like career skills, writing, healthy lifestyles, and job searching. I also encourage people to stay active through dancing and inspire young students to pursue higher education.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?

As Ms. East Coast Petite USA, my platform is about helping people build confidence, embrace their potential, and live their best lives. I work with local and international organizations to teach workshops. I encourage people to stay active and healthy through dancing, and I’ve traveled to many cities and countries teaching English while inspiring young students to pursue higher education. I hope to show that with confidence and determination, anything is possible.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?

One of my proudest achievements in life is graduating from my master’s program with a 4.0 GPA, earning a spot on the Presidential List three times. Over the past year, I also lost 50 pounds, and I am honored to have been crowned Ms. East Coast Petite USA 2026.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?

What makes me stand out in this competitive field is my independence, confidence, and authenticity. I’m proud to have graduated with a master’s in legal studies with a 4.0 GPA, lost 50 pounds in just one year, and traveled to more than 20 countries and 100 cities in the world, helping people learn English and build confidence. Through it all, I’ve learned that the most important thing is simply being myself.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?

When I received the email from the Petite USA director announcing my name as Ms. East Coast Petite USA, I honestly couldn’t believe it. I reread the email several times, trying to understand how and why I was chosen. I shared the news with my family and friends, then proudly announced it to my idols and supporters. As I carefully reviewed all the information and next steps, the excitement slowly turned into nerves. What comes next? What will I do? What will I wear? At first, it was overwhelming—but above all, it was a proud and unforgettable moment. Yes, I believe I deserve this honor. And now, I’m motivated to work even harder, to grow, and to truly earn this title. I’m incredibly excited for the journey ahead and for the National contest.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?

Being a beauty queen is about more than how you look. It means being confident, independent, kind, brave, intelligent, and authentic. It means leading with love and responsibility. Success is not defined by appearance, but by kindness, intelligence, and dedication. True respect is earned through inner beauty and character, not physical appearance.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?

Pageants have helped me recognize the true value of my beauty. They have given me confidence, helped me understand myself better, and connected me to a powerful sisterhood of queens. Through this journey, I’ve found my voice, expanded my creativity, and gained recognition. Most importantly, pageants have given me a reason to push myself further, dream bigger, and continue growing.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?

Pageantry changed the way I see myself. Each time I look in the mirror, I fall more in love with the woman I’m becoming. What once felt impossible—standing on stage in a swimsuit—has become a moment of confidence, freedom, and pride. I now walk, dance, and shine in my own skin.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?

Holding the title of Ms. East Coast Petite USA is more than an honor—it’s a responsibility I carry with pride. I’m committed to making a positive impact in my community. My message to everyone is this: be yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and never let others define your worth. The world needs your story—and I am proud to share mine.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?

My strategy in pageantry is clear: have fun, be authentic, and focus on presence over perfection. I am proud of my journey, grateful for this title, and excited for the future—ready to continue learning, inspiring, and representing my community with love, confidence, and authenticity.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?

To prepare for the pageant, I focus on consistent practice and self-improvement. I do mock interviews with my coach, watch videos from last year’s contests, and practice walking and stage presence weekly. I maintain my physical health through workouts, skincare, and balancing gym time with work and family. I also prioritize my mental health, ensuring I’m confident, grounded, and ready for every moment on stage. Preparation, discipline, and self-care are key to showing my best self in this journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?

Choose outfits that make you feel beautiful and comfortable, because when you feel good from the inside out, your walk naturally improves through practice. True confidence radiates when comfort and preparation come together.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?

Find a dress that suits your skin tone, shape, and makes you feel beautiful. Choose a dress that reflects your personality and allows you to move confidently. Choosing the right dress is like choosing a soulmate — you just know. It should make you feel invincible.

Choose a dress that compliments your skin tone and body shape, and most importantly, makes you feel comfortable and allows you to move with confidence. It should make you feel unstoppable, radiant, and truly yourself.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?

This is the most challenging—but also the most exciting—part of pageantry for me. The key is to practice consistently while staying honest, thoughtful, and present. Speak from your own experiences, not rehearsed lines. Be confident, speak clearly, and connect with your authenticity always shines through.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?

This is just the beginning of my journey. Growth comes from experience, and I am excited to learn, evolve, and embrace every step along the way.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?

When you start comparing yourself to others, you’ve already lost before stepping on stage. Likewise, not practicing walking, doing mock interviews, or watching previous contests can hold you back. Focus on being your best self, shining authentically, and trusting the journey.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?

Yes. I have some experience with modeling or acting.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?

I am preparing to participate in the National competition in Chicago this July while dedicating myself to meaningful projects. I am engaged in global languages, travel, volunteer work, and teaching ESL to both children and adults in my community and across Asia. These experiences help me grow, connect, and make a positive impact wherever I go.

World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?

As for my platform, “Be Confident with Lynn Bell,” I want people to know the real me: confident, strong, independent, and hardworking. I am a determined Lynn who earned a master’s degree with a 4.0 GPA and has been listed three times on the Presidential Honor List. I am also a brave Lynn, having traveled around the world, helping children and adults learn ESL and connecting people through interpretation and global language systems. A Lynn who has successfully lost 50 pounds in 1 year through dancing. Ultimately, I hope to inspire individuals to pursue their goals, persevere through challenges, and embrace their journey with confidence, showing that self-belief and dedication can make a difference in both personal and professional growth.

I am truly honored to share my story and grateful to be featured in World Class Beauty Queens Magazine. I look forward to inspiring others and making a lasting impact through my journey.
