World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
My journey into pageantry began unexpectedly. I was introduced to the world through Miss Petite Global in the United Kingdom, a system that celebrates petite women and challenges traditional beauty standards. What sparked my interest was the emphasis on empowerment rather than perfection. I realised pageantry could be a platform for growth, storytelling, and advocacy. It wasn’t just about walking on stage, it was about representing something bigger than myself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?
The defining motivation came from the National Director of Miss Petite Global UK. Her belief in me was something I’ll always be grateful for. At a time when I doubted myself, she saw potential and encouraged me to step forward. Her support throughout and after the competition showed me that pageantry is about mentorship and growth. That experience shaped my confidence and laid the foundation for my journey, eventually leading me to competing in Miss Empower Uk and winning the title of Miss Empower Uk 2025 and now leading me to represent Nigeria on the international stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?
Competing as Miss Petite Global Nigeria felt like a natural progression in my journey. As a Nigerian woman, representing my heritage on an international stage is deeply meaningful to me. Miss Petite Global stands out because it celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and purpose. It’s not just about height or appearance, it’s about voice, impact, and confidence. That alignment with my values made the decision clear.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’d love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?
Miss Petite Global is an international pageant system designed to empower petite women from all backgrounds. It focuses on confidence, advocacy, and personal development, giving women the opportunity to represent themselves authentically. The system encourages contestants to use their voices, share their stories, and make an impact beyond the stage. It’s about redefining beauty and celebrating individuality.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?
While I don’t currently have a national director for my Miss Petite Global Nigeria journey, the international directors of Miss Petite Global have been truly inspiring. Their dedication to creating a platform that empowers women globally is what sets them apart. They provide guidance, resources, and a system that encourages growth, confidence, and purpose, even for contestants navigating the journey independently. I admire how they prioritize authenticity and inclusivity, ensuring every queen has the opportunity to shine on an international stage. Their vision and commitment to empowerment are what make this pageant system stand out, and I’m proud to represent Nigeria under their guidance.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you’re judged on?
Judging goes beyond physical appearance. Contestants are evaluated on confidence, communication, stage presence, and authenticity. Judges look for someone who understands their purpose, represents the system well, and connects with both the audience and the panel.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?
My competition experiences have been transformative. During Miss Empower UK, I initially struggled with stage nerves, but I reminded myself to breathe, focus on my purpose, and embrace the moment. Lo and behold, I ended up winning the title, which was both humbling and empowering. Each competition has taught me discipline, resilience, and self-trust. I’ve learned that confidence grows when you show up as your true self, and I’m carrying that lesson with me as I compete on the international stage as Miss Petite Global Nigeria.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?
Absolutely. Miss Petite Global offers an empowering and supportive environment that encourages growth rather than comparison. It’s ideal for women who want to use pageantry as a platform for purpose, confidence, and impact.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?
My advocacy centres on body confidence and self-love through my platform, LoveYourBodyDaily. Growing up, I often received comments about being “too skinny,” which affected my self-esteem. I now use my voice to remind others that every body is worthy of love. I’m passionate about mental wellbeing, self-acceptance, and breaking harmful beauty standards.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?
As Miss Empower UK 2025 and now Miss Petite Global Nigeria, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to engage in both local and international pageant activities. Recently, I attended Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand, which allowed me to connect with queens from around the world, observe global pageant standards, and gain invaluable experience that I can bring to my own journey.
In addition, I actively participate in media features, content creation, and advocacy events through my platform LoveYourBodyDaily. Each appearance allows me to inspire confidence, promote self-love, and proudly represent Nigeria on a global stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?
Winning Miss Empower UK 2025 is one of my proudest achievements. Beyond pageantry, building LoveYourBodyDaily into a supportive community is something I deeply value. I’m also proud of my personal growth stepping into international representation and embracing my voice fully.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?
What sets me apart is authenticity. I lead with honesty and purpose rather than perfection. My story is relatable, and my confidence comes from growth, not comparison.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
When I won Miss Empower UK 2025, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was a moment of pride, validation, and affirmation that believing in yourself can truly change everything. Being appointed as Miss Petite Global Nigeria was also an incredible honour and a privilege, allowing me to represent my motherland on an international stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
Being a Beauty Queen means using your platform responsibly. It’s about representation, impact, and inspiring others. It’s not just a title it’s a commitment.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
Pageants have transformed my confidence, communication, and sense of purpose. Pageantry truly helped me discover my voice and embrace leadership.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
Pageantry taught me to embrace my body as it is. It helped me unlearn negative narratives and build self-acceptance.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
It’s humbling and I know 5 year old Liza is so proud of how far I have come. My message is simple: you are enough exactly as you are. Confidence is built, not given.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
Authenticity, confidence, and connection. I focus on presence rather than perfection, I don’t believe in being perfect rather like my Pageant coach Sofia would always say ‘No one is you and that’s your superpower’.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
Preparation for competitions involves a combination of physical, mental, and spiritual routines. I dedicate time to mindset work, practicing my pageant walk, and refining my interview skills. Self-care is also a key part of my preparation, ensuring I feel confident and energized on stage. Above all, I pray and seek guidance, as I believe placing God at the center of my journey gives me focus, strength, and peace of mind.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
Confidence starts from posture and intention. Walk with purpose, not pressure.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
Choose a dress that reflects your personality and allows you to move confidently
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
Be honest, thoughtful, and present. Speak from experience, not rehearsed lines.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
Every moment taught me something, so I wouldn’t change anything. Growth comes from experience.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?
Instead of focusing on what others might do wrong, I like to reflect on my own journey and lessons learned. Early in my pageant career, I sometimes overthought my performance and doubted myself on stage. That taught me that confidence, authenticity, and trusting your preparation are far more important than trying to be “perfect.” By learning from my own experiences, I’ve grown into a stronger, more self-assured competitor.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
Yes! Fun fact I’ve been modeling even before my pageant journey began, and I continue to model regularly. It’s something I truly enjoy, and it’s helped me develop confidence, presence, and versatility on stage and in front of the camera.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
I will proudly represent Nigeria at Miss Petite Global International, taking place in Malaysia from May 4th to 9th, 2026. Alongside this, I will continue to expand my advocacy through LoveYourBodyDaily, launching campaigns targeting teenagers and young women to promote self-love, confidence, and mental wellbeing. I also aim to collaborate with international organisations to maximise my impact and inspire as many young women as possible on a global stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?
I hope to leave a legacy of confidence, authenticity, and empowerment demonstrating that beauty exists in every form and inspiring future queens to embrace their individuality, purpose, and voice.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my journey. I’m honored to be featured in World Class Beauty Queens Magazine and look forward to inspiring others through my story.
