World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about yourself.
Hello! I am Hisae and am from Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. I grew up with my wonderful parents and older brother. My ancestors on my father's side were SAMURAÏ. After they were swordsmanship mentors of the SHOGUN during the EDO period that lasted 265 years, in 1868, my great-great-grandfather began to produce and export of Japanese lacquer furniture and lacquerware to Europe. My mother's ancestors have been doctors for 14 generations. My parents love Japanese Traditional Cultures, so I learned the Omotesenke way of Tea and IKEBANA as a child. I love Japan, and am proud of the fact that I was born there. After majoring in Japanese Literature at the University, I began working for the Toyota Motor Corporation’s head office. During this period, I became excited about the future and decided to focus on my favorite goals. I went to Paris to study art, design and professional make-up. I also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing. After working at LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) Japan, I established my company, Beaux Gestes Planning, in Tokyo. Now I work to make people beautiful and healthy both internally and externally through my expertise in beauty, Traditional Chinese Medicine Diet and healthy food. I’ve had the chance to visit over 40 countries while enriching my experiences and learning about various foreign cultures. I have made various contributions to society, international relations, and international activities through international institution. Furthermore, I got a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence to create our wonderful future. I plan to continue my mission of making a difference in the world for the future.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us why did you decide to become World Class Beauty Queens Japan Ambassador 2021.
World Class Brand has readers all over the world. I traveled abroad and competed in the international pageants. In addition, by becoming a World Class Beauty Queens Japan Ambassador 2021, I can meet people in the world and get to know me and Japan through World Class Beauty Queens Magazine. It has great significance and very important.
World Class Beauty Queens: This is not your first time as World Class Cover Girl. Tell us about it.
I have experienced the Issue 10’s Cover Girl. This was published in April 2017, before went to Las Vegas for the participation of Mrs. Earth International Pageant. I participated in Mrs. Globe 2015, Mrs. Universe 2016 and Mrs. Top of the World 2016. At that timing, so it was very exciting to be a Cover girl of World Class Beauty Queens Magazine.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do pageants?
I won a prize of Miss Nagoya Contest when I was 22 years old. Afterwards, I went to Paris to study, established my company, volunteered, and gained experience. These inspires me to continue competing so I decided to apply for this International Beauty Pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: What do pageants mean to you?
Pageants are a place of comprehensive learning as a woman. Fashion, beauty, international communication, presentation and etc.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you a winner?
Through philanthropy, I’ve come to believe that a true queen is measured by how she gives back to this world. Helping others, without expecting anything in return, is my definition of winning.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your platform and all your achievements.
I became a “Volunteer” in California, USA. When I was 19 years old, I went to study English at UC Davis from my University’s summer program. I stayed in an American family’s home. The mothers of host families were working for the community as volunteers. I learned the American way of volunteering and I was hooked. When I came back to Japan, I continued my volunteer work there. I helped JCI (Junior Chamber International) hold World Congress in Nagoya. I became a member of JCI-Tokyo when I established my company in Tokyo. After that, I joined the International Affairs committee, Environmental measures committee and Nonprofit Organization Partnership committee. I also assumed the position of chairman of JCI Japan Art Association, JCI Senator and JCI Patron. I help invigorate local communities through Japanese art “The Way of Tea”. I value that I am able to share an appreciation of beauty with people. I continue international communication through Japanese traditional art and culture. I make various contributions to society, international relations, and international activities through international institutions. Amongst them, I help fundraise for UNWFP (United Nations World Food Programme) Japan, and I support the campaign for UNDB (United Nations Decade on Biodiversity) Japan.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why volunteering is important?
It benefits the community. It helps to motivate people and grows consciousness of cooperating together to make society prosper.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those readers that are unfamiliar with your system tell us what are you being judged on?
It’s an international event and the activities we participate in happen throughout the year. It is for mature women, who have already achieved a lot in their life. We are women who can use our beauty for a worthy cause.
World Class Beauty Queens: What were you judged on during the competitions?
I was judged on presentation, National costume, Daily dress, Swim suit and Evening gown, etc.
World Class Beauty Queens: Which part of the competitions was your favorite?
My favorite part was the National costume, because I love Japanese National costume “Kimono”.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your secret technique to connect with judges?
Always give them a big smile and kind heart. Try to be elegant as a woman. I got Mrs. Kindness of Woman Mrs. Universe 2016 Award, Mrs. Elegance of Mrs. Top of the World 2016 Award, and Mrs. Earth Elegance 2018 of Mrs. Earth International Pageant.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does the crown symbolizes to you?
It’s a gift of achievement. It could be achievement, honor, hope to inspire people around the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: What legacy would you like to leave behind?
I want to convey to Japanese people and the rest of the world the true appeal of Japan. I’ll continue international communications and showcase Japanese aesthetic sentiment through Japanese traditional art and culture as a queen. I want to spread the aesthetics of Japan all over the world.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
It motivated me to collectively use my knowledge, expertise, and love to make the world a more beautiful and joyful place.
