Pageant System: American Royal Beauties
Age: 49

Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Hobbies: Fundraising and organizing community events, supporting fellow queens at pageants, and creating meaningful experiences that bring women together. I also love encouraging others by showing up, cheering loudly, and celebrating their accomplishments.
Platform: Hey Girl Hey — a platform dedicated to mentoring young girls and women, reigniting passion and confidence, and building a strong sisterhood rooted in service, encouragement, and empowerment. At its heart, Hey Girl Hey reminds women that they are seen, supported, and capable of more than they ever imagined.

Likes: Warm weather, sandy beaches, fashion, helping women plan wardrobes for important events, and doing makeovers that help others feel confident and beautiful from the inside out.
Dislikes: Cold weather and negative attitudes — I believe energy matters, and I choose positivity, growth, and encouragement.
Current Status: Wife, mother, business owner, and community advocate.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share a bit about who you are? Like, what are your passions outside of the pageant world?
At my core, I am a mother, a mentor, and a woman deeply rooted in faith and service. Outside of the pageant world, my greatest passion is being the best mother I can be to my three children and raising them with strong values, compassion, and purpose.
I am also passionate about empowering women and young girls through mentorship, community service, and encouragement. Through my Hey Girl Heyinitiative, I focus on reminding women that their past does not define them and that it is never too late to rediscover confidence and chase their dreams. Whether I am organizing service projects, mentoring others, or simply showing up for someone who needs support, my life’s passion is helping others feel seen, valued, and empowered.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’m curious about your education journey. What’s it been like for you, any particular highlights or challenges?
My education journey has been anything but traditional. I became a widow at a very young age while raising my daughter on my own, and life required me to grow up quickly and step into independence sooner than I ever imagined. During that season, survival and stability came before formal education, and I had to navigate life one day at a time.
Over time, with determination and faith, I found my way back to education and personal growth. That journey taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of never giving up on yourself, no matter how delayed the path may seem. My experiences have shaped how I encourage others today — reminding women and young people that setbacks do not define them and that growth is always possible when you are willing to keep moving forward.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Women’s empowerment is such a key topic. What does it mean to you personally?
Women’s empowerment is deeply personal to me because it is something I live and practice every single day. To me, empowerment means women choosing to lift one another up instead of competing or tearing each other down. When women support women, we create strength, confidence, and unity that extends far beyond ourselves.
I also believe empowerment has no age limit. I want women to know that it is never too late to rediscover their voice, step into confidence, or chase a dream they once set aside. My personal motto, Inspire today, empower tomorrow, reflects my belief that encouragement creates a ripple effect — inspiring change today while empowering future generations of women to believe in themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How did you get into pageants? What sparked your interest initially?
My journey into pageantry began unexpectedly. I originally attended a pageant simply as a spectator, curious but not actively planning to compete. What immediately caught my attention was not just the crowns or gowns, but the genuine sense of sisterhood and support among the women on stage.
Watching women encourage one another, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, and use their titles to serve their communities sparked something within me. It showed me that pageantry could be about much more than competition — it could be a platform for growth, purpose, and meaningful impact, which is what ultimately drew me in.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What motivated you to participate in your first pageant? Was there a defining moment?
After attending my first pageant as a spectator, I found myself unable to stop thinking about the sense of purpose and connection I witnessed. The defining moment came when I realized that the women on stage were not just competing for a title — they were using their voices, platforms, and visibility to serve others.
That realization shifted my perspective and motivated me to take the leap. I saw pageantry as an opportunity to grow personally while also creating meaningful impact in my community, and I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title? What made it stand out for you?
I often joke that my pageant system chose me before I chose it. When I learned more about American Royal Beauties, their values immediately resonated with me. The emphasis on sisterhood, service, and purpose aligned perfectly with everything I already stood for.
The Crown to Serve motto, in particular, spoke directly to my heart. It reinforced my belief that a title is not about recognition alone, but about responsibility. American Royal Beauties represents a true community of women who support one another while actively working to make a positive difference, which made it the perfect fit for me.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I’d love to know more about your pageant system. Could you explain what it’s all about?
American Royal Beauties is a pageant system built on the foundation of service, empowerment, and sisterhood. Unlike traditional perceptions of pageantry, this system focuses on personal growth, community involvement, and using one’s title as a platform to make a difference.
At its core is the Crown to Serve philosophy, which encourages titleholders to look beyond the crown itself and focus on the impact they can make. It is a welcoming and supportive environment where women of all ages are encouraged to embrace their individuality, uplift one another, and serve their communities with purpose and heart.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What do you think sets your pageant director apart from others?
What truly sets my pageant director apart is her genuine heart for the women she leads. She is deeply invested in the growth, confidence, and success of each contestant, not just during competition, but long after the crown is placed.
Her leadership is rooted in encouragement, integrity, and service. She creates an environment where women feel supported rather than compared, valued rather than judged.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: During competitions, what are the key things you’re judged on?
In pageant competitions, judging goes far beyond physical appearance. Contestants are evaluated on confidence, communication, stage presence, and authenticity. Judges look at how a contestant carries herself, how she connects with others, and how effectively she represents her values and platform.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your competition experience been like? Any memorable moments or learnings?
My competition experience has been both empowering and deeply meaningful. Each pageant has helped me grow in confidence and resilience while encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone in the best way.
One of my favorite memories happened last summer at nationals when I got lost in the city where the pageant was being held. A contestant I had never even met came to find me in the parking garage and helped me get where I needed to go. That moment turned into a genuine friendship, and we have been close ever since. Experiences like that remind me that pageantry is about connection, kindness, and sisterhood far beyond the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Would you recommend your pageant system to others? If so, why?
I would absolutely recommend my pageant system to others. It is a welcoming environment that prioritizes personal growth, service, and genuine connection over comparison or competition. Women of all ages are encouraged to show up as their authentic selves and feel supported throughout the journey.
American Royal Beauties offers more than a crown — it offers a community. The emphasis on sisterhood and the Crown to Serve philosophy creates meaningful opportunities to grow, give back, and build lasting relationships, making it a truly rewarding experience.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Tell me about your advocacy or volunteer work. What causes are you passionate about?
Service is at the heart of everything I do. Through my platform, Hey Girl Hey, I focus on empowering women and young girls through mentorship, encouragement, and community involvement. I believe in creating spaces where women feel supported, valued, and reminded that it is never too late to chase their dreams.
In addition to my platform, I am actively involved in community service through charity fundraising pageants and outreach projects. These efforts include collecting coats for local missions, creating breast cancer therapy bags, supporting school sports teams, and hosting my annual Fluttering Wings pageant, which raises funds for multiple sclerosis research and supports Michelle’s Legacy Scholarship in memory of my childhood friend.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: With your title, what kinds of appearances or activities have you been involved in?
With my title, I have been actively involved in community-centered appearances and service-focused events. These include hosting and participating in charity fundraising pageants, organizing donation drives, and supporting local organizations and school programs within my community.
I also use appearances as an opportunity to connect with others, share messages of empowerment, and encourage women and young girls to believe in themselves. Each appearance allows me to represent my title with purpose while reinforcing that a crown is a tool for service and positive change.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Can you share some of your achievements, both in and outside of pageantry?
One of my proudest achievements is the impact I have been able to make through service and leadership. Outside of pageantry, I have organized community outreach initiatives, mentorship programs, and charity events that support a variety of causes and individuals in need. Building Hey Girl Hey and watching it positively influence women and young girls has been especially meaningful to me.
Within pageantry, earning my current title has been a rewarding milestone, and I was also honored to receive the Queen of the Year award from More Than a Crown Magazine. While recognitions like these are meaningful, what matters most to me are the relationships built and the lives touched along the way. Each experience has strengthened my confidence, leadership, and commitment to serving others.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: In such a competitive field, what do you think makes you stand out?
I always joke and say that what sets me apart is my cute little gap in my teeth. It’s something I’ve learned to embrace, and it reminds me that beauty doesn’t come from being perfect — it comes from being confident in who you are.
Beyond that, I believe what truly sets me apart is authenticity. I show up as myself in every space I enter, leading with heart, honesty, and purpose. My journey has taught me resilience, compassion, and the value of service, and I strive to use my platform to uplift others while encouraging them to embrace what makes them uniquely themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: I can only imagine how it feels to win. What was going through your mind when your name was announced as the winner?
When my name was announced, I felt an overwhelming mix of gratitude, disbelief, and humility. In that moment, my mind immediately went to the journey it took to get there — the challenges, the growth, and the people who stood beside me along the way.
More than anything, I felt honored. Winning wasn’t just about receiving a crown; it was about being trusted with a responsibility to serve, represent, and inspire others. It reminded me that every step of the journey had purpose and that the real reward is the impact you’re able to make beyond the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What does being a Beauty Queen mean to you?
To me, being a Beauty Queen means using your voice, visibility, and influence to serve others. It’s not about perfection or appearance — it’s about leadership, kindness, and the responsibility to represent something bigger than yourself.
A crown symbolizes trust and opportunity. It reminds me daily that true beauty is found in compassion, authenticity, and the way you uplift others. Being a Beauty Queen means leading with heart and purpose, both on and off the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants impacted your life?
Pageants have played a significant role in shaping who I am today. They have challenged me to grow in confidence, step into leadership, and believe in my ability to make a difference. Through pageantry, I’ve learned to embrace my voice and stand firmly in my purpose.
Beyond the stage, pageants have introduced me to meaningful relationships, opportunities for service, and experiences that have expanded my perspective. The impact has reached far beyond competition, influencing how I show up in my personal life, my community, and my advocacy work.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How have pageants influenced your self-esteem and body image?
Pageants have helped me grow in confidence by teaching me to appreciate myself as I am, not as I think I should be. Being surrounded by women of different ages, backgrounds, and body types has shown me that beauty is not one-size-fits-all.
Over time, I’ve learned to embrace my individuality — from my personality to my physical features — and to stand confidently in who I am. Pageantry has reminded me that self-worth comes from within and that confidence is built by self-acceptance, not comparison.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: You’re an inspiration to many. How does that feel, and what message do you want to share with others?
Being seen as an inspiration is both humbling and meaningful to me. I never set out to inspire by being perfect — I strive to inspire by being real. Knowing that my journey resonates with others reminds me that sharing our stories truly matters.
The message I want others to hear is simple: it is never too late to start over, believe in yourself, or chase a dream. Your past does not define you, and your story still has purpose. If my journey encourages even one person to keep going, then everything I’ve walked through has been worth it.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What’s your strategy for captivating the judges on stage?
My approach to captivating judges is rooted in confidence, authenticity, and connection. I focus on being fully present, making eye contact, and allowing my personality to shine rather than trying to be someone I’m not.
I believe judges respond most to contestants who are genuine and comfortable in their own skin. By staying true to myself, carrying myself with grace, and leading with purpose, I aim to leave a lasting impression that goes beyond the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: How do you prepare for competitions? Any specific routines or practices?
Preparation for me is both mental and physical. I focus on staying organized, practicing my walk and interview skills, and making sure I feel confident in my wardrobe and presentation. Just as important, I spend time grounding myself mentally through reflection and prayer.
I also remind myself that preparation isn’t about perfection — it’s about showing up ready to give my best. When I feel confident and centered, everything else naturally falls into place.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Got any tips for nailing the perfect pageant walk?
A strong pageant walk starts with confidence. I always remind myself to walk with purpose, posture, and poise while staying relaxed and natural. Practicing regularly helps, but trusting your body and letting your personality come through is just as important.
My biggest tip is to remember that the walk is an extension of who you are. When you feel confident and comfortable, it shows — and that connection is what truly captures attention.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Choosing the right pageant dress can be crucial. What are your tips for making the best choice?
The best pageant dress is one that makes you feel confident and comfortable. I believe it’s important to choose a gown that complements your body type, reflects your personality, and allows you to move naturally on stage.
Rather than following trends, I focus on what makes me feel my best. When you feel confident in what you’re wearing, it shows in how you carry yourself, and that confidence is always more impactful than the dress itself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Interview rounds can be tricky. What are your strategies for a winning interview?
My strategy for interview rounds is preparation combined with authenticity. I take time to reflect on my experiences and values so I can answer honestly and confidently. Listening carefully to each question and responding thoughtfully helps create genuine conversation.
I also remind myself that interviews are an opportunity to connect, not perform. When you stay calm, speak from the heart, and allow your true self to shine, the interview becomes a meaningful exchange rather than something intimidating.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Looking back, is there a moment in a competition you wish you could redo?
Looking back, there isn’t a specific moment I wish I could redo, because each experience has contributed to my growth. Even moments that felt challenging or imperfect taught me valuable lessons about confidence, preparation, and resilience.
Pageantry has shown me that growth often comes from embracing the journey as it unfolds. Every experience, whether smooth or uncomfortable, has helped shape the woman and titleholder I am today.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What common mistakes do you see others making in contests?
One common mistake I see is focusing too much on comparison rather than confidence. When contestants try to be someone they’re not, it can take away from what makes them unique and memorable.
Another mistake is forgetting that pageantry is about connection. Judges and audiences respond to authenticity, preparation, and heart. When contestants stay true to themselves and lead with purpose, they naturally stand out.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Do you have any experience in modeling or acting?
While I do not come from a traditional modeling or acting background, pageantry has given me experience in presentation, confidence, and public presence. Through appearances, photo shoots, and stage performance, I have learned how to carry myself with poise and professionalism.
These experiences have helped me become comfortable in front of the camera and on stage, while still remaining authentic and true to myself.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: What are your plans or goals for the upcoming year as a Queen?
In the upcoming year, my goal is to continue expanding my outreach through service, mentorship, and community involvement. I plan to grow my Hey Girl Hey initiative by connecting with more women and young girls and encouraging confidence, purpose, and empowerment through action.
I also hope to strengthen partnerships within my community and represent my title with grace and integrity. My focus is on making a meaningful impact while using every opportunity to serve, inspire, and uplift others.
World Class Beauty Queens Magazine: Finally, what kind of legacy do you hope to leave behind?
I hope my legacy shows that even the smallest wave can create a powerful ripple effect. Small acts of kindness, encouragement, and service have the ability to change lives in ways we may never fully see.
I also want my legacy to reflect that a crown is more than something beautiful worn on the head — it is a responsibility and a crown to serve. If I am remembered as someone who led with heart, lifted others, and used her platform for good, then I will consider my journey a success.
