A loving mother to 4 beautiful children, an Assistant Director in a private education institute, a business consultant, a motivational speaker, a part time model and active youth volunteer. I am someone who makes full use of my time to do something productive but never forsaking quality time for family as they are the air I breathe.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does women Empowerment means to you?
Women Empowerment to me is to have the strength to find her real identity which she will embrace so as to love herself unconditionally. She should be able to project her soul with confidence and intelligence to make her own choice without thinking of judgments.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your pageant history.
Year 2015: Ratu Muslimah - Won 4th Runner Up
Year 2019: Ms Mega Model Search- Won 2nd RU., Ms Singapore Malays International - Won 1st RU., Mrs Singapore Beauty Queen - Won grand title!
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
To challenge myself to achieve something I once thought was Impossible. To regain my self confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?
To inspire more women who are mothers to get out of their shells and to start embracing themselves. Be more confident and appreciating their shapes, their perfect imperfections even while staying modest.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Mrs Singapore Beauty Queen is about confidence building, coaching participants on how to be-you-tiful from the inside out. Focusing on importance of good values and attitudes. Ms Singapore Malays International is about being a beauty queen with compassion. Aside to workshops on self development, they are actively involving participants to do volunteer works to give back to the society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are you being judged on during the competition?
Participants were judged on beauty & elegance, catwalk, character, attitude, confidence.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your experience during the competition.
One of the most amazing times of my life. Nerve racking at start with butterflies in my stomach but after some time when everyone started getting to know each other it became fun. Important to build harmonious relations within the pageant so that the challenge becomes a healthy one. We undergo coaching sessions and attended workshops on self improvement. I came out with a new sense of confidence and the most amazing memories.An experience that helped me step out of my comfort zone.
World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.
I have been an active volunteer for the last 8 years supporting the Youth Engagement platform to engage and inspire challenging youths to develop positive mindset so as to make a difference to their lives and others around them. I have been a life coach to multiple troubled youths changing them from defiant to successful mentors who now helps motivates other youths as well.
World Class Beauty Queens: What appearances have you done with your title?
After the pageants, I have been invited to judge at auditions and other beauty pageant platforms, participated in some charity events that benefits the poor. Received modelling and runway offers and contracts to be brand ambassador for skincare and clothing line.
World Class Beauty Queens: What are some of your achievements?
This year, though busy with beauty pageant activities, I was a happier and more confident person. I managed to still do well in my career increasing company's revenue by 200%.
Clinched a contract to be the face of beauty product promoted within Asia.
Signed on as model for projects outside of Singapore within half a year of exposure to the modelling industry.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your on stage strategy to win the judges over? Be the positive and cheerful me. Enjoy the limelight and keep on smiling with confidence but always stay humble. Give my best most sincere testimony to how I can contribute back to the community. World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? Everyone is uniquely beautiful. I believe my beauty lies beyond looks. Its the positive aura I have with me due to my warm personality and my confidence to embrace my imperfections to I'm perfect. World Class Beauty Queens: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner. I felt like the butterflies in my stomach escaped and was flying around me. I thanked god for the blessings and truly appreciated the support given by people around me. I knew my life was about to change and I am grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to the community and bring about positive changes. World Class Beauty Queens: What does it mean to you to be a Beauty Queen? To be a beauty queen is more than just being beautiful and glamorous. She is a woman of substance with positive influence to lift and empower others in the most beautiful way. World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life? Participating in beauty pageants helps build strong self-image. It encourages growth in confidence, outgoing personality and improves socializing skills. World Class Beauty Queens: How did pageants helped your self esteem and body image? Pageants motivates me to be healthier person through exercise classes they made us attend. Starting a healthier lifestyle gives me more energy to run my daily activities while improving my body image. This have increased my self esteem. A lot of people have complimented the positive change. World Class Beauty Queens: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? I have always inspired to be inspirational as I believe my reason to be on earth is to make a positive change to the life of others. I believe in myself and I always choose to believe in strengths of others. Behind those two beliefs is a lot of hard work, determination and positive attitude. I feel blessed and grateful for the opportunity given and will continue to beautify the lives of others I touched to the best of my ability. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? To do better at pageant walk, one must be confident and hardworking enough to practice in your heels actively and bond with it. Breathing calmly allows us to stay focused and sway to the beat of the music as we trott down the runway. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? It is very important to know your body type and shape. Know which part of your body to flaunt and where to hide. Also choose a color that compliments your skin color. World Class Beauty Queens: What are your tips for winning interview? Stay calm, focused on understand the questions asked. If you need clarification do not be afraid to ask. Be yourself and answer in an appropriate manner and tone. World Class Beauty Queens: How did you prepare for your competition? Preparing and adjusting the mindset to assure me that I can do this. Changed my lifestyle by starting exercises and improve my eating habits. Did a bit of wardrobe change and read up about pageantry. World Class Beauty Queens: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? I do not harp on mistakes and feels that everything happens for a reason and it is usually because that is something that I need improvement on and nail it the next time. World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? I am not someone who have interest in finding mistakes or faults of others unless they requested for me to look and feedback to them. I like to think that its alright to make mistakes but we must learn from it. The only thing I hope for in more ladies who takes part is for them to think of the beauty pageant as a platform to motivate each other instead of pulling down each other. True queens are crowned at the heart. Knowledge and skills are good takeaways too rather than just the crown. World Class Beauty Queens: Any modeling or acting experience?

I will be holding a motivational talk to empower my community and youths to help them build a better future for themselves and the people around them.

I would like to be remembered as the Beauty Queen who believed in the beauty of my dreams and with m will power and determination and focus, will make my dreams of improving the lifestyle of my community happen.
