World Class Princess Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.

I am a spunky, big hearted, 9-year-old little miss.  I attend Elementary School as a fourth grader and just a normal kid who enjoys learning, playing outside, having sleepovers, loving animals, excelling in gymnastics and being the “nerd with the word” with my obsession with homework and all things learning.

World Class Princess Magazine: What does it mean to you to be a princess?  A princess is a person who puts others before themselves, loves, gives and serves their community. Princesses are always a good role model, who is always positive, calm, and confident in themselves and lift others up.

World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your pageant history.   At the age of six, I participated in my first pageant and since then became enthusiastic of continuing my pageantry journey.  On my journey I have gained confidence, developed great stage presence and public speaking skills.  I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet new friends, gain new experiences and claim my chance to shine on stage.  In March, 2019 I was crowned USA National Miss Colorado Princess.  I then attended Nationals in July 2019, and made top 15!

World Class Princess Magazine: What inspired you to do your first pageant?  I received a letter in the mail one day from a different pageant system National American Miss (NAM) stating someone referred me to the pageant and they invited me to attend a pageant workshop.  I went to the workshop and knew this would be an awesome and fun experience.  That is when I registered for my first pageant in 2006.

World Class Princess Magazine: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?  I competed for USA National Miss Colorado because I know I can be the change and make a difference in this world.  USA National Miss is about positive pageantry, uniting girls together and promoting respect for one another through life’s journey. I wanted to help be “Positivity Activist” and be among amazing ambassadors of many worthy causes and charities – including the national anti-bullying platform The Crown C.A.R.E.S. (Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools).

World Class Princess Magazine: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?  USA National Miss is more than a pageant it is a lifestyle.  UNM leads through service, promotes positivity, provides educational opportunities through scholarships, recognizes personal achievement and community involvement of young women. AND I love the fact that UNM is fun and trendy pageant system!

World Class Princess Magazine: What are you being judged on during the competition?  There are three phases of competition. The first is interview where I get to spend two minutes with each judge to share my accomplishments, goals, and personality. Second, is evening gown where I show off my formal gown of choice and last but not least my favorite runway/fun fashion a fun and upbeat competition where I can actually “rock the runway” and show off my personality and my sense of fashion.

World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your experience during the competition.   I have a mix of feelings… I can be content, excited, happy, nervous, relieved, blessed, sad, and accomplished… Throughout these feelings my overall experience is amazing. I have so much fun and always remember the good moments.

World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about your platform or what cause do you volunteer for.  My platform “Perfect Cause for Paws” came about when I saw a commercial about sad, lonely, and hungry dogs who need good homes. This made me sad and inspired me to do something. I love and adore all animals and believe in the importance of standing up for those who cannot speak.  My desire is to end pet homelessness and animal suffering so I advocate for the humane treatment of all animals. I want to send a s message within my community that a good heart can make compassion go a long, long way.

World Class Princess Magazine: What appearances have you done with your title?   I have done many appearances and volunteering events. I donate my time with the Dumb Friends League, Rezdawg Rescue and Moms and Mutts to advocate for the humane treatment of all animals within my community. I also continue to serve with Positive Presence Global, Sweet Dreams in a Bag, WeeCycle, Denver Broncos Cheer, and Charity Fashion Shows.

World Class Princess Magazine: What are some of your achievements?   I graduated from Barbizon Southwest Modeling and Talent Agency (SWMT) in 2017. I attended the 2018 L.A. International Modeling and Talent Agency (IMTA) competition and won the Swimwear runway competition and placed Top 10 in the Jeans Competition. After I ended up signing with MMG out of NY and LA.

2019 UNM Colorado Pageant – Awarded the Miss Congeniality Winner

Crowned 2019 National American Miss Colorado Princesses title.

I participated in the Castle Rock, Denver Rock the Runway Model Search and I was chosen (1 of 25) out of 300 kids to model for the Outlets of Castle Rock and Silverthorne in Colorado. My first modeling gig was on Fox 31 News Back to School Segment on Thursday, August 15.

World Class Princess Magazine: What is you’re on stage strategy to win the judges over? There is no strategy! I just want the judges to see ME and show my sweet, loving, fun, and sassy personality.

World Class Princess Magazine: What makes you stand out from all those other beautiful girls? My personality! I am outgoing, helpful, loving, thoughtful, kind, funny and sassy.

World Class Princess Magazine: Tell us about the moment your name was called out as the winner.

Surprised!  I was not sure at first… LOL. I was so excited and happy – it was one of the best moments I have had.

World Class Princess Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life? It has given me so many new experiences where I learned to be confident to go out and reach my dreams, make new friendships, and just be me and not care what others think because I am LOVED and I LOVE others.

World Class Princess Magazine: You are an inspiration to all the girls out there. How does it feel? I don’t feel like I am an inspiration. I am doing what I enjoy and makes me happy… making new experience, new friends, modeling and giving back.

World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for learning better pageant walk? I have taken and graduated from Barbizon Modeling school where I was taught how to walk. I also practice with a pageant coach and gain feedback on how I can improve. So I say Practice, Practice and more Practice!

World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for choosing right pageant dress? Understanding the rules for your age division. I ask what is/are your favorite color(s)? What color looks good on you? What styles do you like? What styles look good on you? I say SHINE with the dress you are comfortable in. If you are comfortable it defiantly shows on stage.

World Class Princess Magazine: What are your tips for winning interview? Be YOU!!! The judges want to see YOU and not you pretending to be someone else. Show them your personality.

World Class Princess Magazine: How did you prepare for your competition?   Practice, practice and practice. I work every day on my walk, my routines, facial expressions in the mirror and interview. As long as I know I worked hard I know I am putting in my best effort.

World Class Princess Magazine: What is one mistake that you've done during competing you wish you could redo and fix it? You can laugh at this, but I did not go to the bathroom before I started my interview and it defiantly messed up my A-Game. It was hard to answer the questions because all I could think about is when I could go to the bathroom. NOT FUN!

World Class Princess Magazine: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest? Not being themselves… I believe you need to be you and not someone else. And making it know that they messed up on stage. If you mess up on your routine, do not draw attention to it because I the judges do not know your routine and the only people who know is YOU, and maybe your mom and coach.

World Class Princess Magazine: Any modeling or acting experience?   I graduated from Barbizon and signed with SWMT Agency in Denver. I went to the 2018 International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in LA and ended up signing with MMG out of NY and LA. I do fashion shows and photoshoots for local designers and photographers.

World Class Princess Magazine: What are your plans for 2019 as a Princess? I plan to continue my reign as USA National American Miss Colorado Princess and serve within my community and promote my Personal Platform “Perfect Cause for Paws”. I will crown my successor in March 2020 and continue to work for my next pageant and reign.

World Class Princess Magazine: What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?  My legacy will be LOVE. I want to create a better world for all who live in it... Be the person who cares. Be the person who makes an effort. Be the person who loves without hesitation. Be the person who is POSITIVE! Be the person who leaves a legacy of love.
