World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Please tell us about yourself.
I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m 33 years old, now residing in Orlando Florida. I’m currently represented by model and talent management.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Please tell us about your modeling experience.
I’ve had the most Amazing experience in a six month time frame. My very first publication was accepted and I landed the cover of Le Desir magazine which was beyond exciting thanks to Kirk (@Aperture_alchemy). I also did my first brand shoot with the infamous Danny Batista and Manny Oqcuendo. Bruce Smith (@smithcophoto9039) has also been incredibly good to me and has helped me become published in several places as well. I’m grateful for my experiences with them thus far and plan to continue growing with them in any way I can. I am also working towards nailing down my first runway experience.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Bikini modeling is often done very early in the morning to catch that perfect lighting, are you a morning person and if not what is your strategy for 6am shoots where you have to already have your hair and makeup done?
I am not a morning person however I am a firm believer in a good strong cup of coffee. My advice for 6 AM shoots are wake up and get them done. If you don’t someone else will.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Tell us about your first big break into modeling, what was the first modeling job you did and how were you discovered?
I decided to go out on a whim and compete for the miss health and fitness 2022 magazine competition because of my love for fitness. I made it to the semi finals. After that, I was scouted by Studio 1 photography in South Florida for a test shoot. I ended up signing with them. After that I was scouted by model and talent management, interviewed and signed with them. After that it has been a snowballing effect and I have taken every opportunity that I can. If some experiences didn’t work out, I learned from them to go forward.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: For the image to come out perfect you have to really connect with the photographer to get the pose captured just right with the lighting and angle and mood of the shoot. How do you typically connect with a photographer you just met on set?
I always prep and prepare with them before hand. I will do multiple FaceTime calls, brainstorm poses, the best shots at the upcoming location, in order to give my team the best chance of success. If connecting with the photographer is possible I always do that, if it’s
not, I do my homework.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: There are so many iconic bikini poses that create this image captured in time that stand out and are widely known even by people not connected to the modeling world, what is your favorite iconic bikini pose and why?
It’s funny how my favorite poses have changed since I started my journey. I like any pose that is dramatic and powerful, because I feel like I can connect with it on a personal level and bring more to the shot.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Do you have agency or do you freelance?
I’m currently with model and talent management which is non exclusive. I do plan to start reaching out to agencies soon because as munch as I love to be creative and freelance, I also like structure and would like to take my modeling career towards the branded shoots and commercial route.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Which designers did you have a chance to model for?
None yet and I can’t wait to start!
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Have you modeled in any fashion shows?
Not yet and I can’t wait to start!
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Certain colors look good on certain people based on a variety of factors, what colors look best on you and which one is your favorite to model in?
I love browns, gold, purples, and blues. They are all contrast colors for me and work well with my skin tone and eyes.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: When you are considering taking a modeling job what factors come into play. Do you have a list of items that are deal breakers, or a list of items that seal the deal for you? Tell us about your ideal modeling job and what that looks like.
My ideal modeling job comes with clear-cut expectations and clear-cut forms of payment. I like to know exactly what I’m getting myself into. I most definitely need to see the photographers work and make sure things are clear and organized. I would rather over communicate and under communicate, that way no one is disappointed.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What would you consider your biggest achievement as a model so far?
Landing a cover and doing my first brand shoot with Danny Batista.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Do you have any bikini models that you look up to? Please tell us why you are inspired by that particular model.
All the babes on sports illustrated! Because they are beautiful and sexy with class written all over them.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Describe how you prepare for an upcoming shoot. Tell us about your routine, do you have any superstitious rituals, a certain number of hours of sleep, or specific music you hype yourself up to, or beauty routine you swear by?
I pack everything I own in a giant duffle bag the night before, haha. I get as much sleep as possible. I wake up at least 2-3 hours prior so I can caffeinate and make sure I take my time getting ready. Then I listen to hip hop and r&b to get me extra pumped and feeling myself before the shoot!
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: What is the best piece of modeling advice you have received in your career that you would like to share with aspiring models?
Take a chaperone always. Research your photographer. Set boundaries and expectations.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Every model has a pose or part of their body that they like to focus on because it is the money shot of them. What is your favorite feature or pose for you personally?
I like to give the camera the death stare and open my eyes as much as possible to capture the color, and I also accentuate my hips as much as possible because I believe that to be one of my stronger areas.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Every person can make an impact on the world, what is one thing you are doing to make the world a brighter place?
My full-time job is in healthcare doing physical therapy. I like to work with the elderly and listen to their stories.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: For every passion/need there is a nonprofit or charity that promotes or helps fill this need. What is your favorite nonprofit or charity and why is it your favorite?
I would have to say the cancer event that’s held at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. Cancer is all to common and impacts so many. I also plan on finding something geared towards disabled children. I also enjoy feeding the homeless because it’s really sad to me to think of people that are hungry.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Who is your dream designer to model for or your dream modeling job? What steps are you currently taking to make this dream a reality?
My dream designers would most definitely be Burberry, Fendi, Prada, Balmain, Gucci. My dream modeling job would probably be geared towards more brand shoots, commercials. Working with sports illustrated. The steps I’m taking are giving each of my shoots my best, and seizing every opportunity.
World Class Bikini Models Magazine: Where can we learn more about your work? Tell us your websites and social media handles and where someone can go to hire you for modeling jobs?
