My pageant history has been very short, just before Miss progress international, I represented my city Cali in Miss World Colombia, it was an experience that left me some learning.

World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?

My inspiration to participate in the Miss World contest is that it has the slogan: "Beauty with a purpose". Unfortunately, in Colombia this contest is not well managed and they do not do it like the international one.

World Class Beauty Queens: Why did you choose to compete for your current title?

I chose to compete for my current title, because Miss Progress International aims to "Women for Progress", this goes a lot with my life policy and my personal aspirations. I love it because they not only admire the beauty of a woman, but also look for how much women do for the welfare of the world in: Human Rights, Environment and Health.

World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?

Miss progress international is a contest that leads ambassadors for the progress of each nation in the categories: Environment - Human rights - Health. Each project submitted must be real, viable and must be created autonomously by the candidate.

Each candidate to the Miss Progress contest must have a personal integrity full of values, the candidate must be a person very consistent with her aspirations and her project, her way of seeing life and her humanity.

We will work together in PRODUCTIVE REFORESTATION that allows them to obtain natural resources in a Sustainable and Renewable way, weaving beautiful organic bags to provide sustenance to the Community and thus, generate a space and an activity to transmit the Love to Nature, its Culture and Tradition to minor generations and the entire world.

None, I think I had no mistake, all I did was with complete integrity.

World Class Beauty Queens: What other mistakes are made by girls during the contest?

I think that thinking a lot about the prize of the contest and not enjoying the process, also being too anxious to want to appear to be the best over another. As Gandhi said: "You don't have to turn off the other's light so that ours shines."
